Perfect camping dog sleeping bagby M. Green (5 out of 5 stars)

The Noble camper dog sleeping bag exceeded my expectations. I have a 56 lb spinone Italians and ordered the large which is the perfect size. I had debated just buying a cheap sleeping bag and cutting it down. I'm glad I didn't do that first although the noblecamper is very over priced. Basically this is a deep sack with a circular bottom. When it is zipped up it makes a circular bed with floppy sides. When you unzip the bag it reveals three folds of the sides. After it is unzipped you can leave them folded. Then after your dog has laid down and needs tucked in you simply grab the sides opposite your dogs head and pull the sides up and over your dog. The beauty of this system is that it work in any orientation you are not restricted to making sure your dogs head is facing the opening like a traditional sleeping bag. When I received it it put it on the floor and showed it to my dog, Jaypeg. Once she was comfortable with it (she took to it right away) and laying down on it I then pulled the sides up to cover her up. Whenever we go camping once she's tucked in for the night she's stays in position. This will make tucking her in her bed in the tent a lot easier. It's not really thick or heavy but that is good since most dogs are warm sleepers and would otherwise get too hot. I got the Marine blue: bed is navy and pull out cover is royal blue. The royal blue part is ripstop nylon shell and the navy part is a much finer weave nylon. I like that it is not a "sticky" material like fleece since it is almost impossible to get spiney grass seeds, cockleburs, etc out of fleece. Jaypeg and I are very pleased with the noblecamper.

I gave this dog bed 5 stars because I couldn't think of anything you could do to that would make it better. Got this bed just in time for a backpacking trip in WV. Took our 60lb short-haired mix (Vizla-ish) and the bed worked great. It is well made and our dog loves it. It is light enough for him to carry and stuffs into his pack. With temps dipping into the low 40s, Saaz shivered when lying on it. But when you pulled the "bag" over him the shivering stopped, buried himself even deeper and hardly stirred till morning. Everything that I take into the backcountry I demand be durable, light, and have mutiple uses. I expect nothing less for my dog. It is worth every penny.

A little on the roomy side for my 21 lb rat terrier, but he loves a bed with sides. We use it for travel (not camping), and he loves having a real dog bed in hotels, etc. Fantastic product; excellent quality. Easy to throw in the laundry and clean. Pricey, but since we use it all the time, it's worth it.
Super durable and comfy worth the cost!!!

I don't write many reviews but this product is so good I felt compelled too!! I love to backpack and my pitbull loves going with me. We always hike the sierras and it's known to be cold at night. This sleeping bag for dogs is unbelievable! Very easily compressed, weighs less than a 1.5 lbs and is easily moved from fireside to inside the tent. I'm so glad I bought it and it was worth every penny!!

I love this for my Vizsla Indy. He immediately went into circling mode to make it his. I wish it was slightly more insulated, and had a more durable bottom for rocks and dirt-- but it was lightweight and easy for Indy to harry in his pack. Thanks NobleCamper!
The sleeping bag was great! Perfect for my Chesapeake Bay retriever

The sleeping bag was great! Perfect for my Chesapeake Bay retriever. It kept her warm while camping in the cool nights of Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Colorado. It fits her well and the dog took right to it. The nice thing about it, you can use it as a regular bed on warm nights and use it as a sleeping bag in cold weather by unzipping the bed and covering the dog just like a human sleeping bag. The sleeping bag is perfectly round shape that makes sense for a dog. It is a bit spendy but it works and is worth the money. It's light weight and easy for either you or the dog to pack around hiking. It comes with a stuff sack for easy packing. It's a professional sleeping bag for a dog. Great for hiking trips/camping.

Great sleeping bag for my 70 lb rottie/dobbie mix, bought the medium size. We backpacked/camped 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail with it. She has used it about 50 times and it's still holding up great. This bag is not for cold weather, she shivers when it's about 40 degrees, I was hoping it would give her some extra insulation, I would suggest a cold weather bag. A compression sack would make it much easier to carry, it is bulky and larger than my sleeping bag. Overall it's great for summer camping.
