Actually not that great on beaches...

The shoes are actually ok in quality, considering the price point.

We bought these primarily to take walks on the beach without having to worry about stepping on gellyfish on those days where they are out there. As expected, the shoes will get filled with sand; the problem is that it is almost impossible to rinse that sand out before getting home. The inner sole is only bonded at the back of the shoe (it looks like it won't stay there for long...) The sands gets trapped under the inner sole and no matter how much you rinse them out, the shoes will retain a good amount of sand, which means, if you want to leave sand out of our home, you have to carry another pair of shoes or flip flops to get back.

Another thing: that heavy rubber... Well, it smells like heavy rubber! And the smell will linger in your closet.

I purchased this pair of water shoes for my GF's mother for a Hawaiian trip. She wore them every day and has used them on a couple more trips. primarily to San Diego. She says they are very comfortable and have held up well. I purchased a pair for me and I have NO complaints. The fit is true and they wear well. I recommend this product.

This shoe is light weight and confortable. I take Water Zumba and we are constantly moving in the pool.These shoes provide much better traction than the shoes I had before. Two of the other ladies in class have these shoes and recommended them. The inner sole may need to be reglued after some use.

My only complaint is that one of the shoes fits me a lot looser than the other. Not sure if its me or the manufacturer of the shoes lol but its just weird that the right side fits a lot bigger. Wearing them to the beach and thanks to the strap I wont have to return them.

Nice Water Shoe for the Price

Going on a trip to the eastern Caribbean islands and will be spending a lot of time on the beach and in the water. Thought these water shoes would be good to take along. I wear a size 8 or 8-½ dress shoe, a size 9 tennis shoe, and a size 9 hiking shoe. Read that these water shoes run a little large so I ordered the size 8. They fit perfect with the draw string bringing them nice and snug to my foot.

These water shoes are some of the worst I have ever experienced. Bought them for my daughter off season and only because she needed them for a trip and it was the only thing I could find on short notice in her size. The insides came out on the first wearing. Piece of junk, don't waste your money!

These water shoes fit me perfectly and lasted the whole week at the lake. So glad i brought them - the lake bottom was kind of slimy and there was some broken glass. I wouldnt have gone in without water shoes - too gross and felt sort of how quicksand would feel!

After 5 wearings in the swimming pool the insole came out. They were only glued at the heel and before they came out completely they would bunch up since the toe wasn't glued. Cheaply made product. I didn't start using them right away and so it's now too late to return them.

The shoes were a little big but they do have good traction. A problem I had was the insole was loose and would bunch up while I was walking. It was very uncomfortable and I finally took it out. I don't know if it bunched up like this b/c they were too big or if that is how they are made. I still use them without the insole but I would not recommend buying these shoes.
