Frozen Peas Ice Mold | |||||||||
| |||||||||
Product Description
Make big balls of ice in your home freezer! Mother nature provided the perfect design to capture water in spheres - peas in a pod. Spherical ice melts 80% slower than cubes, so your drinks will stay colder for longer and won't be watered down as quickly. The ice tray also stays upright when filled to prevent any spillages and the spheres are easy to remove once frozen.
Top tip - Try adding mint or lime before freezing to add some excitement to your cocktails!

Cute but trickyby monique18 (4 out of 5 stars)

I love the concept and the design, but the ice cubes are a bit tricky to squeeze out. It's hard to figure out how full is too full of water - sometimes the spheres have excess "corners" from overfilling. We've found running it under warm water for a minute really helps.
3 at a time.

It's all about the packaging. There are ice molds that will make better formed ice orbs, but this will do 3 at a time and hey - it's a pea pod. The soft flexible material made it easy to extract the ice balls.
For the same amount of money that you'd spend on the fancier molds (that make 1 ball at a time) - this is good for me. After all, the quality of ice comes down to the quality of your water.
Nice!

These are easy to use and the big chunk of ice dilutes the drink more slowly than conventional ice cubes. You need a place in the freezer where you can place them with the slit up so they don't tip over and spill, but that's pretty easy to do.
Not a great design, but cute I suppose

Hard to get the ice out of the mold, hard to judge correct amount of water, and also this has to be stood up otherwise the water will fall out before freezing. Neat but poor design.
Looks cool, but that's it

Hard to get the spheres out; they have edges. You are better off buying some sphere ice molds. I wouldn't buy this again.

Best circle ice cube maker I have. I'm not sure that the ice really lasts THAT much longer, but it's cool. And being cool goes a long way too some days.

I thouhgt the ice balls were going to be biger. It's a little difficult to have it standing up when you first put watter in it and put it on the freezer, but it's really easy to get the iceballs out of the mold
It's a scam

I can't believe it's used. It's dirty that you didn't bother to clean it and the package is re sealed with tape.
not perfect but cool idea

i bought this because my dorm freezer had no ice tray or dispenser. although not the easiest option, this ice mold is fun to use and the ice does actually seem last longer.
