LOVE THIS! Strong and fun! So worth the money. My kids love it... I love it. It shoots hard and straight and has held up to both 7 year old boys and teens. As a youth pastor who works with a bunch of teens... I have bought 5-6 of these and will buy more.

The toy that everyone wants!

I must have bought 10 of these things in the last year and a half, if not more. Pretty much every birthday party in the last year that we have gone to for my sons friends, they have received one of these awesome bows. The price point is higher than what I would usually by for a birthday present but on Amazon I have been able to find them cheap enough to share with our friends. These things shoot so far! They are so easy to use and even when you are hit with the Bose by accident, you won't sustain any major injuries. I've been nailed and not had bruises afterwards. Two of my kids are younger then the recommended age and have had no trouble shooting them. There are variations of this bow but we really love this one because the bow and arrow's light up and they make a quiet whistling noise as they fly by. It really gets the kids active and moving running around to gather the arrows and they don't even notice how much energy they are running out because they're having so much fun. We own three of these bows ourselves and always have a backstock one in our garage for the next birthday party we go to. We have brought these for girls and boys and it's always been the favorite gift. I can't recommend this enough! Even parents can't wait for a turn!

Fun, fun, fun.

This thing is crazy fun. My 7 year old boy loves it when his 5 year sister lets him use it. The range is ridiculous, and the arrows really haul if you want them to. But I don't see massive risk because the tips are so broad and soft. We let the kids use it insider under specific circumstances (to knock over stacked blocks from across the room firing toward a couch/empty wall).

I have to admit I really enjoy it too.

Well worth the money.

The only downside I will point out is that replacement arrows are fairly pricey and they go so far that losing them is a distinct possibility (don't shoot them over the house and into the woods behind it for example - that doesn't turn out well).

Great product - wish there were replacement bands available

The ONLY problem I have with this bow is that the bands are not replaceable. However, my son did use his first one for a 8 months before the bands broke, but he did leave it outside all the time, exposed to the elements, so not the makers fault. I just wish I could have replaced the bands that broke instead of the whole bow. I have seen that you can purchase bands from the hardware store and replace them yourself, so I'll give that a try on the old one. He is loving his new bow, though. Having purchased this before, I have to say I'm impressed with the life of the batteries! His old bow is over a year old and still lights up after MUCH use. The bows shoot straight and accurate.

Lots of fun, durable toy

These are awesome! We bought a green set and a red set. The lights last a long time (my kids leave them on over night all the time). They do scream when you launch them. They do not aim true, but they shoot far and are a lot of fun. To change things up a little my son and I tried making 3 point shots at a basketball court one time and had a blast. I also used the darts one time to help me get a rope high up in a tree to hang a tire swing (I had to tie a jute string to the end to shoot it over a branch then brought a rope up with the jute). This is a very durable toy. My kids tear most things up within hours of getting them. We have had these for over six months and the biggest issue is a few teeth marks from when the baby tried chewing on them.

My son was excited to open this bow on Christmas morning. I was unsure of the sturdiness of it when I purchased it on Amazon, but once we put it together, all my fears went away. The bow flat out works. This thing can zing them arrows fast and hard. It is definitely not something you should let kids shoot at each other with. If they have the strength to pull the arrow back far enough, watch out lol. But enough about safety, this bow exceeded my expectations. The rubber "bands" that shoot the arrow seem to be decent. It has shot many of those arrows and are still in good shape. It's kind of cool how the bow lights up, and the arrows "scream" as they are shot. My son loves this bow, and cannot wait for summer to shoot it outside. I put up targets on the wall he could aim at indoors, so he could play with it. He knows not to pull back as hard as he can. (I almost think you could put a hole in sheetrock if you shot hard enough)

Awesome toy for all ages!

These are awesome! I bought 2 for my kids after they played with similar Nerf ones. I was reluctant to buy a brand other than Nerf, but I liked the features of these. We are not disappointed at all! I would use the light up feature on the arrows even when using in the daytime, because if you do lose one it will be lit for when it does get dark. They are holding up perfectly and we have been using these a lot. Highly recommend! Will be buying more for gifts and to build our arsenal as we are all fighting over them :)

BEST DOG TOY EVER!!!

Bought this for our dog and she goes NUTS! The whistling and the light makes is easy for her to find at night. We put a lighted color on her and watch her run like crazy -- grab the arrow and come back. Only hard part is she gets so excited she sometimes destroys the arrow! Wish they were just a bit more sturdy, but we keep ordering replacements since this is so much fun to play with. Not sure every dog would bring it back or not eat it -- but we love it.

My son received a Zing Air Storm Fire Tek Bow set in red for his birthday last year and it is sooooo cool! We are really excited to give his best friend this same bow set but in green for his birthday! The bow and all arrows light up, making it perfect for playing with in the day or at night. When the arrow is released it makes an awesome whistling sound. We had a family reunion over the summer and my son's Fire Tek Bow was a huge hit and all the children wanted to play with it. It kept them busy for hours! While it is powerful enough to shoot far, the arrows have a soft sponge at the tip to soften the blow if someone accidently get shot, so I wasn't overly concerned about the safety. The box recommends this for children 8+, but my son was 7when he received his and has no problem shooting it. This is such a fanatic toy and will make a wonderful gift!

Short lived fun

This thing gets a 5 for fun but a big fat zero for durability. I am bummed. I have gone through three of these in the last few months with the third one lasting less than an hour. All three broke the exact same way. One or both of the rubber bands used to launch the dart into the air ripped. There is no way to fix it and I'm calling it quits after 3 which is a shame because they things really are a lot of fun. Totally disappointed.

These things are amazing, they fly really high and you have to make sure you watch where it lands. They typically bounce to hard off the ground that the light switch will usually turn on from the impact to it helps to find them. I recommend that you get two sets so that when you are placing with someone you can return their arrows back to them from the other side.
