I bought this just to give my dog her own lil space. I don't use it as a cage. I just leave it open and let her go in an out as she pleases. I use it upside down with the mesh on floor and put black cover on top of that. Then I put a fluffy blanket, her pillow, and toys. She loves it. She goes in and naps, plays with her toys and has her alone time in there. It is nice and roomy too. For the price it's excellent. Highly recommend. Though again I can't speak on how good it would be to enclose your pet in it all day as I don't use it that way.

A Safe Haven for my rescues! 10 Stars!

I loved how easy it was to just 'pop up' exactly as its described! I rescue animals, mostly cats. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own so I need to be able to gently contain my rescues until they see a vet, and also to help them feel safe. I brought an adult Siamese kitty in from a bad storm; he was soaking wet and muddy; at the time I only had a crate and layered it with rugs and towels to give him dryness, warmth and comfort. I ordered this playpen because he was frightened in the crate; I learned the next day that he has been in too many in his past. He was immediately at ease in this wonderful playpen! I left the top unzipped and one door unzipped after he'd been to the vet and it was just so heartwarming to see him peaceful and comfortable! I do have 2 feelings about the bottom; it is good to be able to remove it for cleaning, and I liked the thought that he could be outside on grass on inside our home on carpeting to feel a 'real' surface. However, had he tried to get out, I do think he would have been able to where there is no Velcro attachment. I do think it's a 5 Star product and very affordably priced. Rescuing is expensive in every aspect so affordability is 5 Star by itself! I would love to have another one so I can have a spare when I rescue more than one animal at a time! Loving the convenience of this for traveling!

Although I would change two things about this item, considering the price and the convenience of this, I have to give it 5 stars! I haven't had mine a week yet but I have enjoyed the convenience of it, the fact that it is so easy to fold up/set up and how easy it is to clean. I have already used it during travels and I love it! The only changes I'd request are the quality of the zippers (they are very delicate so you need to be very gentle so that they don't break) and the spaces between each piece of velcro. My 8wk old puppy became an escape artist quickly by going out beneath the bottom piece through a space between the patches of velcro however that was an easy fix as I added several patches of my own industrial strength velco and Wah-La, that issue was solved! (I had originally thought I read that the top & bottom pieces zippered...not sure if I read wrong) Anyway, I would highly recommend this to a friend/relative!

Great enclosure for a great price.

I bought this as a temporary enclosure for my chicks until they're big enough to go outside to a proper coop. I put the mesh on top and have a tarp and papers underneath. This is a perfect solution for us. The chicks are contained and safe, and it's a great size for them right now. The photo I included shows the chicks outside pecking around in the grass, this was also perfect for this situation because the chicks were contained but could scratch around in the grass. However, any animals (including my nosy pugs) could easily flip this over.

I like the mesh top with the zippers, the side openings for the doors, and the pockets.

I know this is marketed for dogs, but I will say that my 18 lb pug easily plowed through this thing trying to get to the chicks' feed. (It didn't break but bent in half and she pushed it across the room). I think this would work well for calm, well behaved dogs, or for gentle puppies.

Perfect size for my 10 year old, 5 lb Pomeranian. I can fit her bed, small mat for feeding and water bowls, and an extra blanket or pee pad. I bought this for when I visit relatives. I rather not have her wandering around a house she is unfamiliar with and getting out.

Zipper ripped really easily

I purchased this pen to be used by my tiny 5 lb pom when we visited my parents. Unfortunately, he mistakenly attempted to go through the door when it was zipped up and it ripped about a foot of the zipper away from the pen. We have had other pens, since he is not yet 100% potty trained and spends most of his alone time in one, and have never had an issue with the zippers. I was quite disappointed, as I was planning on purchasing a second one for my house since this was larger than his other pens. I will not be purchasing a second pen.

i took it out and it is in perfect condition. easy to set up and take down and everything they advertise it to be. i will be using this so my bunny can safely play outside of in the house.

This is an indoor playpen for my Ferrets. I ended up having to flip it over to use to top zippered size as my ferret quickly found a hole to get out of, but for it's intended purposes it's well made and very flexible so it's not hard to handle even though it's pretty big! I will probably modify it with a zipper on the bottom also then it will be just perfect for my ferret to play in! As is, it's a well made product and I was pleasantly surprised at all the little zippered pockets to keep stuff in.

Awesome playpen for my dogs!!! My Cocker Spaniel even loves to be inside the playpen and just hangout!! Great Training Tool to help a puppy learn to pee on a pee pad for an apartment. Also, it is really great for taking to the park -- we put the dogs in the playpen while we eat --- then, I do not have to worry about them running off or getting all tangled with their leashes while we eat!! Besides the Cocker Spaniel, I have 2 Yorkies.

Good for the price

I bought this for my kitten and he enjoys it. I keep him in there at night so he doesn't wonder unattended. Its nice and roomy for him to run around and play with his toys. Plus the top and bottom are covered so he can't climb out. I do admit the velcro at the bottom is kinda weak, but I just laid towels on the bottom and my kitty has yet to find a way out.
