It working excellent but if you don't put enough air into it you will get a little water leakage in your kayak. I feel it helps me catch more fish when I'm on it then when im on the shore. It can fit 2 grown men comfortably. If my review is helpful please let Amazon know by hitting the YES HELPFUL BUTTON. Thanks for reading.
Not as good after warranty expires

As a new boat, this looks very good, can be packed in a trunk, launched anywhere and the overall experience starts as very positive. I caught lots of fish with it and had about an year of great experience as a boat owner.
However, time comes by. In my case, after one year the chambers started to change shape and delflate. Now after one and a half year the geometry of the boat is very different from the original and I can barely be more than 1 hour on a lake with properly inflated chambers.
One may think, the easiest solution is to buy new chambers and the boat should be as good as new. However, the response from Sevylor's customer service is that they do not sell such chambers. They did not give me any answer, how can I repair the boat for a reasonable price. Turns out, after 2 years of light use I need to throw the boat on the garbage. Which would be acceptable for a boat of $40, not the one of $400.
Maybe it is just me who has this defect. However, the customer service did not give me any other option, but to buy a new boat. Buying one each year on this price is not acceptable for me.

I love this boat so much I bought a second one for guests and family to use when visiting. My girlfriend and I have taken it fishing all over the California Sierras and Lake Shasta. It is the most strong and durable inflatable that I've ever seen. I built a trolling motor mount and attached a MinnKota Endura 30 with a 100aH AGM battery and the Minn Kota Power Center and I can be I the water for 8-10 hours with 2 adults on board @ 3-5 mph. Great for trolling and reaching the spots other boats can't go. It's a silent stalker and fish never see you coming. We call it the Trout-Slayer!
I've had issues, but to Coleman's credit Customer Support has been excellent...

I really, really wanted to like this kayak. It looks really nice and performed well the first time out, however now after 5 or 6 times using it, the valves are leaking and the bottom is so deformed as to make it unstable and impossible to move easily through the water. There were only a few negative reviews, so I had high hopes, but unfortunately those same issues happened to me as well. Also, another common issue is hitting the rod holders while paddling. After damaging my fingernails so bad I couldn't stand it any longer, I unstitched and removed them.
Update 7/13/2018 To Coleman's credit, they have responded to my issues very promptly and will be replacing the kayak. I personally found the Customer Support to be excellent! I have updated my rating because if the new one performs like this one did the first few times out, then I'd have to say that I do like the kayak. Time will tell so I will update this review after I take the new one out 5 or 6 times and see how it holds up. Really hoping the first one was a fluke.
Update 7/23/2018 Again, to Coleman's credit they promptly shipped out a replacement kayak. Unfortunately, my excitement did not last long. After paddling across my local pond I noticed that I was listing to the right. I didn't worry too much about it until I noticed that I had water coming up to the seat and I was getting wet. I immediately turned around and paddled a very heavy kayak back to shore. Once I drained the water I inspected the bottom. Along the right side rear I found a split seam and the source of the water. This had to be a manufacturing defect as I had taken it from home, blew it up on a nice grassy area, and launched it in knee deep water. I never went close to shore or any other obstacles. I'm very disappointed that this second one also had issues, however I'm hoping Coleman will send another and the 3rd time will be a charm. I have reduced my rating to 2 and will reserve judgement until I receive the replacement and can properly test it again. Fingers crossed, but quickly losing faith in this product.
Update 7/27/2018 Received the replacement kayak today. Since this was the second issue I had, they opened and inspected the item before they shipped it. I really appreciated the extra effort to make sure I didn't get another bad one. And, I didn't, this one was perfect. I can't say enough about Coleman customer service. Especially Haley K. who has helped me through this whole thing to make sure I got a perfect kayak. My conclusion is that my bad luck resulted in a couple of issues, but with customer service like Coleman provides, you can't go wrong. They will make sure you're satisfied!
Portable, Tough, & Fun for the Whole Family

Pros:
+ Super Portable: easy to inflate/deflate, fits in trunk, easy to carry like a backpack using included bag.
+ Very Roomy: Easily and comfortably fits me (6'1" 200lbs.) and two of my kids (8yrs. and 9yrs. old).
+ Clips & Pockets: So many places to clip storage bags, pump, whistle, etc... Seatback pockets are great for snacks and drinks.
+ Stability: Even with my two kids and a pretty strong current I never felt like we were going to come anywhere near tipping.
+ High & Dry: The floor and sides are rigid and high so you stay nice and dry :).
+ Lightweight: Easy to carry alone using the middle handles (see pic), or in front and back using the handles on each end.
Cons:
- Tracking: could be better, though the trakcing fin does help (remember to attach it BEFORE you inflate the kayak).
- Documentation and Instructions: were extremely generic, and for the most part less than helpful.
Learned Lessons and Suggestions:
(o) Remember to attach the tracking fin BEFORE you inflate the kayak
(o) Get a good pump, preferably with a PSI guage - A PSI guage is included, but a air pump is not. I use a Ryobi portable compressor that does high volume on one side, and high pressure on the other, and uses the same rechargable battery as my drill/tools.
(o) Get the longest oars you can find, 96" at least, this thing is wide and tall
(o) Remember to let it dry completely before storing long term, I always open it up when I get home and let it sit out in the sun for a few hours before packing it back up between trips.
Great sturdy kayak that can be made amazing!

For an inflatable kayak, you can't beat this quality or price. Like many have said, the kayak is double-walled, with the inflatable portion being protected by a THICK resistant cover. I've taken this kayak out from Lake George to 2 miles off the coast of Malibu. I've surf launched this kayak in 4 ft swells off the coast of Malibu with no problems. Other kayaks were tipping over in the surfs, while my fully loaded kayak was completely stable.
I've noticed a lot of people were trying to mount a trolling motor. I did experimented with different designs and decided with a PVC design.
I bought a $30 28lb trolling motor off of craigslist and created a cross brace out of 1" PVC (I use schedule 80 PVC for unions, much stronger than the typical white PVC you'll find in homedepot). The 1" PVC fits perfectly into the rear fishing rod holders. From there you could build and add unions to make it easier to take apart. I used a 50ah battery (Yes, it could take the weight no problem) in a battery box. I used the 2 strap wrenches to tie down together the trolling motor board, PVC brace, and battery box. I cut some 3/4" birch plywood, stained and painted it with some krylon fusion.Keep in mind, without the cross-brace, the trolling motor has enough torque to force deform the kayak when set on high speed.
I also spray the top of the kayak with Aerospace Protectant Trigger Sprayer after a few outings.
Edit: added photos. The CF # just fell off and I now just keep them in a ziplock bag.
I've enjoyed this inflatable kayak

I've enjoyed this inflatable kayak. It's a solid construction and has nifty rod holders and storage compartments. It's a bit difficult to move through the water but that is expected. The wind tends to catch it and makes it drift off course easily but it's still loads of fun and convenient if you don't want to lug a molded kayak around on your roof. The fishing pole holders tend to get in the way when paddling and that's the reason for the four stars and not five. Make sure you also invest in a decent 12v pump with built in pressure gauge as this will make the setup a lot easier. Can't wait to get back on the water again. Highly recommended inflatable.
Add-on warranty is offered but doesn't actually cover the Kayak

Product looks nice and is easy to inflate and fun to paddle. Unfortunately we only took it out twice before a seam on the outside bottom layer stared splitting. I am working with the manufacturer and it is under the initial warranty so they will replace it I hope.
I really wanted to provide information more than a comment about the product itself. I purchased the 2yr additional warranty that is offered as an add on for this product. Since I had a warranty I decided to contact them at the same time as Coleman. To my surprise the warranty purchased is only good for electrical/mechanical issues so it is not valid for a inflatable kayak. I contacted Amazon and they are going to review and remove that add-on.
Dont buy this Product !!

the Kayak looks great !!
but -
as an Engineer who knows well tarpaulin materials and ultrasonic welding. the bottom of this kayak is a recipe for failure.
The pictures i add, are the very first time i inflated the kayak. the bottom is loose and ultrasonic weld is not symetric.
i assume anyone who use this kayak will get its structure deformed pretty soon, & it cant be fixed..
Actualy it was written in the reviews.. but this weakness in need to be highlight.
Bottom line - Check for other kayaks, which its manufacturing process is better. Dont try loose bottom structure, you will be dissapoint as i do. This is a technical/design weakness in a very sensative part.
Seems strong and durable

I hate the idea of having/storing/using/transporting a long and clunky kayak, so I was happy to find this inflatable kayak on Amazon. Arrived quickly, and took it to the beach here in Hawaii the next weekend. With an electric, hand-held air-pump, it inflates really fast, so no complaints there. Light when fully inflated, easy to carry into the water.
Cons:
It is a big high out of the water, and catches the wind pretty good. This last weekend I paddled out into the ocean near Bellows Beach and it was a struggle, with the wind. Coming back, I didn't have to do anything at all, even with two people weighing it down. The wind blew us in to shore.
The backrests are low and don't work for me. When paddling, you need to sit up straight, but the back-rests on this are very low and...it's hard to explain, but it becomes uncomfortable pretty quickly, and I get a back ache. I went to Costco the other day and saw a metal, collapsible stadium seat, which I bought and placed on top of the inflatable one in the kayak and it makes a world of difference.
The are two fishing rod holders directly in front of the rear seat, so it is very hard to paddle without hitting them. I saw another review here where the guy was also complaining about them, and that he actually removed them by cutting the stitching, which I may have to do.
The cap for the air-valve for the floor is not attached, and I keep losing it. There is an 0-ring which is supposed to be attached to the valve, like all the other valves, but this one came unattached and it's driving me crazy. When I inflate it, I have to try and get it on before half the air flows out! On the other valves, they're attached, so they're right there, ready to close. I'm afraid I'm going to lose this stupid thing someday and be screwed.
Anyway, in summary, I'll give it 4 stars, because of these "cons" I listed above. I do like it though, and enjoy taking it out, even though it's a pain in the ocean. Also, if you use it in salt water, you have to hose it down with fresh water afterwards and dry it in the sun before rolling it up.
