WAY better than I expected at this price (plus an unexpected bonus)by Obsessive Book Geek (5 out of 5 stars)

I was expecting just a cheap selfie stick and that I would have to figure out how to set my Samsung Galaxy's timer for taking pictures.
I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and that it included a bluetooth fob that works with both iPhones and a bunch of Droids (including Galaxy S2 to S6+). It paired nicely and worked the first time.
The grip holds the phone VERY securely. I see no way it could "slip out" unless you swung it around in circles really fast like a discus thrower. It has a second adjustment for tilting up/down, and that also holds very tightly.
The only negative, is that the telescoping part can cause it to rotate unexpectedly. If you always use the same distance, a fix would be to tape it once you have it extended to the distance you use. I've been able to use it without taping, but I've always been stationary when using it. If you "walk and talk" while Periscoping, I could see the added movement possibly causing it to rotate after a while.
To be completely honest, I would have expected to pay about ten times what this cost to get something of this quality, with a remote.
Amazing Selfie stick

I loved this selfie stick. This works amazing with my iphone 5. I have used a lot of different phones and every phone works great. You must use a timer if you don't have a clicker. I couldn't see myself not taking a picture without this product. I would say that this is good to have if you don't want a high dollar selfie stick or it to have the clicker. I have took so many pictures the only thing is that the stick is in the picture which is funny to me. I have used it for a couple months and I still love it and use it.
It is a nice selfie stick

It is a nice selfie stick, the only thing I didn't like is that on the first use one of the springs popped out, and if my sight wasn't as good I would not have been able to find the spring and accompanying screw to place it back in. I was able to find it and put it back in, but when I tried to tighten the screw it just spun around, the other screw was solid and did not move. I love how much it extends, the compact-ness, but I was a bummed that it would just pop out on the first use..

This product came quick and it was in good condition and satisfying for the price and quality of this item but you have to figure out what to do with it, since there are no directions whatsoever but pieces that leaves you confused. There were a couple times when some parts for example like the nail piece fell out. And I couldn't tell if I had to turn right or left. So I tried both ways and it did not work. I realized later I had to push it in first before turning it. It's fustrating to have a product without directions.
It's okay. Quality could be better. You get what you pay for.

It's a very handy device that easily fits in a small bag or pouch. Excellent for taking "selfies", but be ready to get some attention in public places. You're probably going to get asked many times where you got the "monopod". Anyways, there's a lot of cheap monopods and they all look pretty much the same and probably don't differ too much on quality. For the price, I went with this one. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because I wasn't completely happy with the quality of the product. The tip/attachment pulled apart easily from the pole/rod. It came lose so easily, maybe after a couple of time of using it. For that reason, I gave it 3 stars only. I did manage to remedy it by sort of adding reinforcement, but I'm not sure how long the reinforcement will hold. I'm pretty sure it won't last long. The attachment where you put the phone is okay. Nothing to be excited too much about. It does what it needs to do, but it's a bit nerve racking sometimes. You can't help but think that your phone might just slide off, come loose, and fall at one point or another. Overall, it's okay for me. You get what you pay for. The only plus side for me was the fact that it's one of the most portable monopods out in the market right now. It's definitely not heavy duty. Putting my phone and extending the pole completely caused the pole to bend a little bit already. There's others out there that look the same and are probably a little bit more sturdy. I know this for sure because I bought another one from a different seller. It was about 6 inches shorter when completely extended (which is fine because it's enough to get a descent "selfie"), looked exactly the same, but it was easier and smoother to pull out and extend (thus lesser tendency to pull off the tip/attachment), and sturdier (putting my phone did not cause to pole to bend whatsoever). Not sure about heavier devices but I have an iPhone. If you want something handy, this will do. If you want better quality, you might want to invest more money on a sturdier one. But a sturdier one means more money and more bulk, which equates to it being not as handy as this one. So it's really depends on what suits your needs.
For price paid, I'm happy.

Seems OK. It doesn't feel the sturdiest of all things, but it does the job. Great for taking those family selfie's without bothering anyone else (that wouldn't be a "selfie" would it?). Would hold a lightweight point 'n' shoot camera also. I too am going to throw a rubber band on it as backup to make sure phone doesn't fall from it. Set the Galaxy S3 to voice control and saying "Smile", "Cheese", or "Shoot" takes a pic!!!
Not what I expected

When I purchased the selfie stick, I did not realize that it did not have a camera button at the bottom. You have to set the timer to take a picture. During the third time that I used the stick, the clamp that holds your phone broke and sent my phone tumbling to the ground. Luckliy my phone was not damaged.

Selfie stick with no cord or button. Therefore at the end of the day it's just a stick that holds your phone. I admit it is very stable, but also got stuck when I tried to extend the stick back down. Shipping took forever. A lot of times I was going to cancel the order. Now that I've gotten it I realize that I should've :/

Should've bought the one that came with the remote. I use it with my iphone 5s and thought I could save a few bucks using the self timer but it gives me bursts of 10 pictures. It's good but sometimes it's annoying to have to delete some pictures. Finally decided to buy the bluetooth remote. Works well...but need make it really tight otherwise it may spin when you extend it fully.

Great except you have to put your phone on a timer because it does not have a botton to take the photo for you.. Also it does not have a very tight hold on ur phone so if you don't have a steady arm your pictures will be blurry or you could lose you phone lol so just be careful but it works for a cheap selfie stick which was what I was looking for :)
