If you can get away from the advertisement and you tube reviews you realize a 5 gallon bucket might be better. The product kinda works. But it only works on flat surfaces. The legs are to short, and when used on the rocks the rod tips are held to low so they still get in the way. At least in a 5 gallon buck the rod tips are in the air, and it can be placed anywhere.

EDIT:
Turning it around is a bit better, but rod butt length really effects the stability of this product.

Return the Pro model 10 minutes after try to put rods on it.

Pro: 1. Material feels good;
2. Looks okay

Cons:
1. It doesn't fit low profile baitcaster at all;
2. tubes are too big for rod blank, once you put rods in it , it's saggy and shakes, even you secure the bungy cords, the rod rattles inside the tube (the holder);
3. the holder doesn't have a bottom to support the whole unit. it needs the rods support themselves with their own butts. don't know about yours, I don't want my G Loomis and St croix rods be treated like that;
4. the Pro model can hardly stand still, since the middle tube touches the ground, and the tube is in round shape, you can imagine.
5. the handle is not that big and not the comfort, cushion will be needed.

Overall, not an ideal product, especially for this price. at this point, I'm afraid a thumb down is my opinion

Not very effective in its configurations for storage or toting equipment around. Not very balanced when set down unless on a fairly level surface. I would not recommend

This carrier is perfect. I've tried less expensive ones before getting this one - the kind that clip into place and they scratched the rods and were very flimsy. This carrier is perfect. The legs pop on and off so you can store it without being propped up. no digs, and since the rod holders have some space, the tips aren't getting tangled. I'm ordering a 2nd one. We fit conventional reels and spinners together no issue. - even fit our larger reels. it's great!

1. When using the dual stands on the riverside which is not completely flat or when the rods aren't evenly placed to balance weight, the thing falls over. Even when sitting in the living room floor, it falls over with a very slight tap to the side. Do you want to be dealing with this while switching rods during fishing?
2. The instructions says "Load rods with reels ABOVE bungee cords for quick access..." -- Problem is, there's no bungee cords.

Before I bought this for my husband I was moving multiple fishing rods around our boating constantly just to get into the sections I needed. Now either he or I just pick up the Rod Runner and move all the rods at once. It's exactly what we needed

I wish they made the reel seat higher or the rod holders adjustable to go higher. I live in Hawaii and fish off of lava rock and wish my rods didn't touch the ground.

Well built product with built in flexibility! My son liked it so much I bought him one also! Great for transporting as well as a good height for rigging the rods while in it. Perfect for surf fishing too. Well done Rod Runner!
