You wont even notice you are wearing it!

I was a little apprehensive to add any bulk to my midsection but this belt works great! It looks like a yoga pant waistband and is very comfortable. My waist is 30" and my hip measurement (which is wear I wanted to wear it) was 38". I ordered the large (32-35"). It fits perfectly and stays in place.

So I ordered two, one came as made in USA, the other came as made in Vietnam. The finishings of two FilpBelt are different. Vietnam one has ::::::::::: shape of finishing, USA one has XXXXXXXXX shape of finishing. The Vietnam one has smaller opening stitch as well, while USA one has larger. Their fabric textures feel little different too. Well, both are genuine or one is fake? This belt is "USA Original Patent, USA Designed, USA Shipped, USA Warranty". I asked a replacement, but this is still frustrating. Maybe both can be genuine, but I rather one to receive that are made in either Vietnam or USA. Rather in USA, because I think this is USA shipped. Customers may be careful about that...

I was skeptical about this actually staying in place. I carry my weight around my midsection. It stayed in place while running and walking on the road and on the treadmill. I'm trying to lose all my pregnancy weight so I'll update as I lose weight. For reference, I'm 5'6 and wear an 8/10 US size. This belt is a large.

Order up 2 sizes.

I wear a size 0-2 pant. I ordered a medium belt. I definitely would not have liked a small. Medium is fitted on my waist, I may have even picked a large if I was able to try on before buying.

Perfect for Long Runs
by Christian (5 out of 5 stars)
November 21, 2015

I just received this last week. I am planning to use it for the Subaru Distance Classic and took it out for a test run this morning (13.11 mile run).

Here is my experience:

Fit: I ordered a medium. I am 6' tall and have a 31-32 inch waist and it fit perfect. I am glad I didn't order a large. The medium is for waists 28-32. I hardly knew it was there. But a larger one would probably have been loose and bounce.

Use: I ran with an iPhone6 in a life proof case, a small bag of chews and a gel packet. All fit fine and I hardly knew they were there.

Feel: it was secure as I ran. The phone was snug in the belt, and did not bounce. I was able to slip the phone in and out while running, but once in there it was secure. Again, the belt didn't bounce around and this is important for a long run.

Effects: after running I had no red marks, no chaffing and zero issues. I wore it over my waist band, and under my shirt. You could not see it was there and I honestly forgot I was wearing it at times.

I love the product. I'm glad I ordered it and it will be perfect for my long runs.

My only issue (and it's a very small one) is the color. I ordered red and it looks more pink. I don't care, but that is the only thing that had any variance from what I thought I was getting. It's not like it's hot pink, it was just slightly different than I expected.

Overall, I recommend this belt. If you are a runner and looking to carry things while you run this is perfect. I could easily have put keys, money and IDs or credit cards in there along with my phone and chews, and it would have been great.

Doesn't Bounce Around At All!
by Debi @2014 & Beyond (5 out of 5 stars)
March 26, 2015

I recently saw this product on after having searched for an iPhone running case. It wasn't exactly what I was thinking at the time, but as it turns out, it's even better! After I read more about it, I searched to see if they had their own website, which they did. I then looked around their website to see if they had opportunities to test or review their product, which they did. In exchange for providing me with a FlipBelt of my very own, I agreed to write this review for Level Terrain Apparel. Let me start out by saying that while I was provided with the complimentary FlipBelt, it has no bearing on how I feel about the product itself.

I do not possess the standard "runner look." I do not (and cannot) tuck clothes in. BIG runs in my family, it's a genetic thing (thanks Mom and Dad). I'm an "up and down" dieter/runner who sometimes - or mostly - eats more than she runs. Therefore, the very last thing in the world I would want to wear while I'm out there running events with professional photographers taking action shots would be something gathering around my waist screaming "look here, look here". Those waist packs, sport belts, athletic pouches or whatever you might call them - fanny bags - those are like swear words in my book. I would prefer to stick pins in my nice tech shirts rather than wear a simple bib holder for the mere fact that it cinches around that area.

When this FlipBelt arrived, the first thing I noticed is that it looks just like the top of my favorite yoga pants - a nice, thick 3-inch band. It's not a pouch that attaches to a belt; basically the whole thing IS a pouch. There are no zippers, buttons, buckles, nothing. You either put it over your head, or you step into it and adjust it to your waist or your hips, whichever is your preference. It has four little slits in it where you can insert your "stuff" to be carried. And according to the packaging the fabric is: "Wicking, Quick Dry Content: 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex." I ordered black so that it would blend, but the belt does come in some fabulous colors such as yellow, aqua, pink, orange, green, blue, carbon, purple and maybe some day when I'm thin again, I'll get the beautiful hot pink or aqua one..... maybe anyway. I ordered a Large, which, according to the package is for a women's size 10-12, and it fit perfectly.

Everything I read claimed that the belt didn't bounce or move, and while this sounded fabulous, I just couldn't believe it. Now that I've worn the product for a half marathon, let me be yet another person to tell you - THIS THING DOES NOT BOUNCE AND DOES NOT MOVE. You put it on, and that's where it stays. For most of the event, it rained/drizzled/sprinkled, so the FlipBelt was damp. It doesn't claim to be waterproof but my iPhone did stay dry, so I was happy with that. I actually talked to someone who has owned one for six months and she told me that the belt has not stretched out at all and is still as snug as mine is brand new. That's a great piece of information to know because I did wonder how it would hold up.

The photo on the left is a professional photo taken at half marathon. Note how the storage belt I was wearing helped make it look like I have a big ole "beer gut" because it's cinched around my waist so tight to keep it from bouncing around. You will never see that other storage belt on me again now since (1) I've seen the photos from that event and (2) I now own the FlipBelt. The photo on the right is from the race last weekend and I know you have to agree how much better it looks! The best part about the FlipBelt for me is the fact that it does not bulk you up around the waist. I don't even think you can see it, which makes me happy.

Pear-shaped females should avoid this product!
by Amazon Customer (1 out of 5 stars)

I really wanted to like this, as I hate running with my phone on an armband. The belt rode up from where I placed it on my hips almost immediately (less than .25 mile) and bounced around my waist for the rest of the run. Note: I am a pear shaped female (28" waist, size 8 clothing) and ordered the size large to fit on the upper part of my hips. I think I could have ordered an XXL and it still wouldn't have stayed in place - it would have ridden up due to my body shape alone.

Picked wrong size based off of someone else's review; UPDATE: there are 2 different size charts.

I just got this for my wife. I went based off the review that someone else wrote regarding size. I bought a medium. Turns out I should've bought a large. I'm attaching a pic of the updated size chart that came with the belt (which matches the sizes offered when you place your order). Not sure if they will exchange my purchase.

UPDATE: went ahead and reordered in Large. Fit my wife just right but turns out that the size chart on this belt was different than the one on the Medium belt I first ordered. Amazon should recheck all its inventory. Very confusing. Glad I don't have to make another return.

Does not budge - LOVE
by kel07 (5 out of 5 stars)

Love love love my FlipBelt. I cannot stand arm bands so for the past year, I have been running while holding my phone (I know - awful!) Finally a couple weeks ago, I was running with my coworker and she suggested I get a running belt. Having run a couple half marathons in the past, I have used running belts but they tend to bounce around and just be an annoyance. I happened to stumble on the FlipBelt on Amazon and had to give it a try. It fits my iPhone 7 that has an otterbox on it, and did not budge once during my 6 mile run. At the 4 mile mark, I even tried adjusting it because I thought there's no way this thing is staying in place so well, and it was still in the exact same spot as when I started my run. I also noticed I was able to run faster than usual and I think it's because I was concentrating on holding my phone with its' massive case on it. If you're in between sizes, I suggest going a size down. I am 5'4", 122 pounds and got the Extra Small. I almost got the Small but it would have been a tad too loose. Can't wait to wear this for my upcoming half marathons in the fall!

Great belt. Will work well for races and such
by A. B. L. (4 out of 5 stars)

I ordered a small figuring it'd be real tight. My measurements were more than what the sizing chart said I should get for a small. According to the sizing chart I should've gotten a large.... that said! The small sits on my hips fairly ok. I'd definitely go a size smaller If you plan to wear on the hips. Measurements are waist so keep that in mind. It is stretchy so it'll fit. Don't worry. I have an iphone6s. My cell phone fit easily. Actually it even flooped around a tad. So I slide the belt to the side. Phone ended up on the side then. And it felt way better than right under my belly area. Doesn't flop Around there! So plus the belt could have been tad loose Bc otherwise it'd not move much. I'm glad a small feels a tad lose than too tight I guess. You can always pull it down a bit more to get a tighter fit. There are no zippers but my phone felt secure and did not fall out . I think that part was 5 stars! I got the aqua blue and it's real pretty. This is overall a great belt. Just wish I had ordered the Xs.... rather than small. I measured myself many times before hitting the buy button! And I felt I'd gone small enough but yah. So if you want to wear it on your hips? And sizing chart says you need a large? Go for a medium.
