I struggle with stress and tension headaches so I love essntial oils, and have a diffuser in my room (it's this one:https://www.thegrommet.com/oregon-scientific-aroma-diffuser and it's awesome).

I like the Ession product ok but it just feels like of flimsy. It's really just a plastic bar, and maybe shouldn't cost so much. You have to get used to taking the pods on and off the rod, which is a little annoying extra step before you take your shower, and I spilled a bunch of the oil out of the pod the first time I used it, but once you get the thing on there it does make for a nice scent during your shower. I did have a little trouble getting the pod in the right position so just the end of it was submerged in running water, because my shower head is the kind where you can remove the nossel, so the rod goes to the side rather than over the top of the shower head as pictured.

Overall, the scent is good, it helps me relax before bed, but I think the design could be better. I'm not sure this is any better than just putting a $20 diffuser on the bathroom counter.

Good idea. Design good be better. Some of the oils were low due to leakage from the containers or incomplete filling. However, customer service was very responsive and provided replacement oils.

I bought a number of these as gifts for my co-workers over the holidays (and included one for myself!). They were a hit! I have to say it really makes having a shower more enjoyable. I don't use it everyday but when I need a little relaxation, especially at the end of the day, it works really well. My favourite is the Breathe (orange capsule with eucalyptus and peppermint) which seriously helps clear my sinuses. No problems with leaking so far. Would definitely recommend this as a gift or a special treat for yourself.

I have been using this for about a week. I really like it. However, I don't use it for my entire shower, just the rinse at the end. Therefore, I am getting more uses out of each pod. (I see no reason to have the oils being dispersed before and during the soap part...not to mention if I was washing my hair. To me, that would just be a waste of the oils.) I also remove the pod at the end of my shower, cap it, and store it with the filter pointing up. I like the three oil blends that came with the Essio unit...but plan on using the empty pods to make my own blends with my own oils...although I may order the other Essio blends that didn't come with the unit just to try them.

This is very expensive for what it is. The idea of diffusing oils in the shower seemed great, but you have to remove the pod after showering or the entire pod drains on your shower floor. My husband said he experienced burning where the oil was hitting his body. I thought the pods were refillable, as I prefer to make my own essential oil blend, but if you try to take them apart, they are broken. Not happy for what I spent. You're better off putting some drops on a washcloth and hanging it over your shower head. Would not recommend.

You would think that this product is such a clever idea. First of all, not cheap. Second, the scents smell cheap and not enjoyable. Third, the pods are very small, expensive to replace and leak. You're lucky if you get a week out of one pod. By the way, if you use the pods you can't return any of it. Makes no sense as they are separate pieces. And you only have 7 days to return unused as it is...I would not recommend this to anyone. An expensive piece of sub par smelling aroma to put in a landfill!

If you enjoy the feeling of acid burning into your skin, this is the product for you! After waiting ONE MONTH to receive this product, and after using it for the first time and following the directions perfectly, I suddenly felt a burning sensation on my hands.... followed by my shoulders, and knees. Burning for about 1-2 hours. I was pretty horrified and contacted the company, that let me know they cannot return it since it was "used"! What a huge waste of money.

CAUTION though...it doesnt fit on a handheld shower head so I had to zip tie it to something else..they also said before I bought it that you can refill with your own oil and then in the manual it says not to...have to put pods upright after showering or they will drain out on you..smells good though once you get your own set up done if you have a hand held shower

Love my Essio Aromatherapy Shower Kit! It smells great and each pod lasts a long time. My husband gave one to me for Christmas and I use it a few times a week. I leave the shower arm clipped to the shower head and simply screw on a scent pod when I want to zen out. Other reviewers complained of leaks, but they probably left the pod attached. I pull the pod off each time and keep it in the provided holder when not in use. It's great for occasional use!!! My only complaint would be the price for the kit, although there are frequently coupons available.
