Nice twist for regular monopolyby Adrian (4 out of 5 stars)

I didn't have a monopoly board, so I went with this as my home copy. There are issues though. The deku sprouts and trees are just plastic houses and hotels which doesn't make sense. Also, there is very little money and they should have done a better job making it look like rupees in the game. The games do have colors for most denominations you know. Also the figurines... Are sort of weird. They could have picked better items

This turned out to be a great vanity Monopoly set. I love that they went all out and molded nice, weighted player pieces, unlike another branded fantasy movie Monopoly game which opted for cardboard printouts of characters on plastic stands. (Here's looking at you, Princess Bride. Boooo! Boooo! ) It was the one feature that put me over the top to get this one and not the other. The board art here is fun and colorful, and even my younger kids that are just now delving into Zelda fandom can enjoy it. The cardstock for the pick-a-card places, is even better than the original Monopoly.
I love it, it's super fun

I love it, it's super fun! I had the 'collector edition' before this. I'd gotten it as a birthday gift but my son destroyed it after I'd only played once ): that one was a bit better, but this one is cheaper and the only difference is it doesn't have the 'extras' folder. There were extra features about how to change up the game. There was also a map, I believe.
One of the property cards is the wrong color. ...

One of the property cards is the wrong color. Its supposed to be an orange prop and the card is pink so theres 4 pink cards and 2 orange. Idk if thats the case w all of them but seeing as how its more than likely mass produced i dont think im the only one that has that problem. Other than that its as expected.
Product looked good but arrived smashed.

I am sure they make a great product but mine arrived with a smashed box and the inner casings were all shattered with prices all over the place. It was a gift for my son so I had to send it back. Unfortunately amazon wouldn't just exchange it for a new one like other products
A unique gift for fans of Legend of Zelda.

I bought this for my roommate who just loves it.
Pros
1. Has all the components of a Monopoly game. All things you can do with Monopoly, you can do with this.
2. As stated, tons of Legend of Zelda stuff are included.
Cons
1. None really
This is the perfect gift for someone who likes Legend of Zelda. It's unique, fun, and let's face it, every household should have at least one version of Monopoly for those days when the lights go out. Plus, this is something you just don't see everyday. Recommended. I should note, that the one I purchased came in perfect condition (it was new).

The game is awesome. Graphics are clear, but we played it for 15 minutes and a piece broke. One of the triforces broke off on the pawns. A little disappointing.... other than that it's all good.

9 year old Monopoly & Zelda fan loved this themed monopoly board. Wish the houses and hotels were actually the deku seed and trees forms the directions talk about but other than that, had a great time playing with the family. Liked the card and money holder plastic form in the box - actually helps with easy set up and use during the game.
Decent idea, terrible print job

The base design of the game is fine. It would've been nice if they went the extra mile in the design, however that is forgivable. What is not forgivable is the simple mistakes they made. The pink property is yellow. For a few of the properties, they printed text on text, which made them hard to read. Also there is nothing special or extra. Most other "special" versions of monopoly has special rules or cards associated with them. Overall this version of the game is a throwaway, might as well buy the normal version.
Needs to be more completely themed.

Everything I will say, I knew about before buying because it is in other reviews or shown in the photos. My son is a major Zelda universe fan and wanted this set for probably no other reason that to add to his Zelda stuff. So that is why I bought it. Otherwise the reviews were enough to not buy it for myself.
Pros:
* Zelda theme for people who want a Zelda themed Monopoly.
Cons: (and yes, I knew these before I bought it)
* Game pieces don't include Link or the Master Sword! Come on! These 2 should have been a dead giveaway requirement if they are even going to make this at all. Both are the main center piece of the board art! Instead the include Hookshot and boomerang. And the boomerang is flat and hard to move around the board.
* Deku sprouts and Deku trees are just the names for the re-used houses and hotel plastic pieces. This should have been a simple change for China made plastic manufacturing. No excuse other than being lazy. Would have really added to the feel of the Zelda theme during game play.
* Board is a 4 section split fold design. Breaks up the art work. They should have made it the standard single fold and changed the shape of the box.
* Board art should have taken the Zelda theme all the way and changed the theme of the 4 corners. I guess this helps keep it tied to the iconic Monopoly franchise, but I still think it should have been changed.
Given that the game is still Monopoly, anything that could be themed Zelda, should have been themed. The items missed would have been easy to correct. Regardless of why, such as licensing issues, should have been worked out as it really dropped my rating for this themed version.
