AMAZING BUT I GOT A SPLINTER

Absolutely love this lap desk. At first I was searching for something a little cheaper and smaller, It is pretty big, but it's absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with it the second it arrived. I was so anxious for it. When I got it out of the box it still had dust on it like if it was just made for me when I ordered it. Don't know if it really was or wasn't but i enjoyed the whole cleaning it a little process. The mouse pad is very thick and squishy. It's a firm mouse pad, but you can definitely feel the quality of the pad as well. It's a very big mouse pad as you can see but It serves its purpose.

The finish is very smooth no complains except on the bottom where the space for ventilation to pass by. That did prick me and I do have a splinter stuck in my hand that I've been fighting with to remove it. I'm losing it's winning lol, but it wasn't enough to deter me from how amazing this is. I don't really have a table that I use. To demonstrate the space available for that but I do place my phone there, and it fits. I just had to use the phone for the photo.

All in all the package came quick. The product is amazing. I would easily spend $200 on something like this.

It's also nice to customize it. Since it's wood anybody can stain it or paint it to a color of their choosing.

My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad 15. It's a 15.6 inch and fits just fine. As you can see it even holds my laptop up even in tent mode.

I paid $1800 for a great laptop and needed a great lap desk and mouse to go with.

I've recently purchased an ASUS ROG Strix 15" laptop to try and satisfy my gaming itch. I'm a bit older now, and the space in my home is overrun by my wife and 2 daughters. I've found that console gaming impractical, as the TV is generally in use. I could have gotten a second TV for the bedroom, but I don't want to isolate myself from the rest of the world.

So, that led to the laptop solution... but where to play? The kitchen table wasn't ideal, but I made due there while I was longing for the promised land.... my spot on the couch. This piece of wood is an elegant solution. I was going to have to buy a desk/chair, put it together, and cram it next to our changing table/piano. Now I just slide this out from between the couch and table, or out from under our ottoman, and I'm quite comfortable for an evening with my computer. I do not use the tablet holder, as my iPhone 7/case is a hair thicker than it will hold.

My favorite lap desk ever. I prefer to work from couches and chairs than desks when I am at home. Incredible craftsmanship, very sturdy and great mousepad. I have to constantly keep an eye on my son when he's home from college, he wants to use it. Guessing I am buying another.

I use with the Razer Blade Pro - works adequately for it. When gaming the laptop gets incredibly hot as the cuts in the wood don't exactly line up. That's my fault.

I would recommend that they go more for function than aesthetics and made the ventilation area much larger and perhaps with less design to improve cooling properties.

LAP DESK MUST HAVE!

This is a fantastic investment if you like to sit in bed and do some work or gaming. Currently use with a Surface book and an iPad air fits great beside it wireless mouse works perfectly well in the padded area. Ventilation underneath the board gives your laptop room to breath without your lap getting overheating. Made from very nice smooth wood I would consider buying a second one for my partner to use since he's over powered mine. Great buy!

I'm really impressed with this lapdesk! Hindsight I should have gotten the larger model so I could put my Surface Pro 4 in the tablet slot, but c'est la vie. I love the larger mouse pad as I tend to sit on the couch when I'm gaming. I was concerned when I got it I read a few reviews of it giving people splinters. Mine is super smooth and haven't had that issue. I'm also a smaller person, 5 foot 7 inches, the lapdesk isn't too deep that it bothers my knees. Fits nicely on my lap. I have a 14inch Razer stealth laptop and the 13/15 lapdesk is a perfect fit. It's nice to have a slot to place my phone so I can look up things and leave it on my phone while playing games. Can't be too disconnected. ;)

I've been searching for the best lapdesk for gaming and for working on a laptop and finally slurged on this one. It's so sleek and solid, great craftsmanship. I thought at first it will be uncomfortable on the lap but it really is comfortable. The open slots under the laptop really vents out heat without scorching the legs. The built in mouse pad is nice, little padding helps soften the pressure. All in all it's the best product I've owned and definitely recommend it.

Worth the money

So I was pretty distraught when logitech quit selling their lapdesk. Mine had met its demise and I had to find a replacement. I am an avid LOL'er and will spend hours on my laptop. I just prefer gaming on a laptop over a desktop. Anyway, this was perfect. The mouse pad is huge. I didn't originally think I would care about the cellphone holder, but I have found that it really is quite convenient to have it right there. I don't like that it isn't portable enough to go in my backpack or suitcase (too big and heavy), but other than that I really like this lapdesk.

This LapDesk is everything I hoped it would be. Previous review on this product is inaccurate; the iPad Air 2 (with case) fits perfectly into the slot. I am posting a picture with this review to prove it.

The Hover X is perfect for my Alienware 13 laptop and the mouse pad is great for my Razer Ouroboros mouse. If you have a recliner chair it sits on the arms perfectly and is quite comfortable. If you are just sitting on a coach or a bed I find if I put a pillow to support my mouse hand, it works out well. My only worry is keeping it protected. I'm not sure what would happen if a drink was spilt on the Hover X and I don't plan on testing it out. It is quite expensive so for the price I wish it came with a some kind of cover or perhaps have the inner box a better quality in which you can store it in when not in use. All and all I don't regret the purchase and I'm quite pleased with it.

The wood on the bottom of this product was not ...

The wood on the bottom of this product was not finished which causes splinters to fall on your lap. I also saw chunchs missing. I am not sure if I got a defective one or what The price you pay for this product is not worth the risk of getting splinters. My package also arrived late. I asked for a refund the same day as I got it.
