Awesome dustpan if you just want to look at it, and not actually use it.

This is a beautiful object, but it doesn't function as a dustpan. The brush bristles are way too soft so they don't actually sweep things. And the lip of the dustpan is too thick, so most of the dirt and dust is left behind and never makes it into the pan. Also it's really cool how the brush fits into the pan, but then you have a giant hole in your dustpan when you're using it. So if you were to angle it too far back, all the dirt that you somehow managed to sweep up would fall out through the hole. I never would have expected a cleaning product to make me angry, but this really did. I couldn't believe that all functionality had been sacrificed purely for design. AND it was $50. For a dustpan. I guess I'm the idiot for even buying it in the first place, but at least Amazon let me return it after one use.

Beautiful, but with a design flaw

It's very attractive and made from quality materials. One problem: when you sweep, whatever you're sweeping can go right back at through the hole in the handle (which is meant to be used as a funnel, and the works well). I solve the problem by holding the pan with my palm covering the hole. Still, it's kind of a design flaw. But this is the only dustpan I found that is attractive enough to hang on the wall and it looks great in a modern interior.

it looks nice but it doesn't work. if you want a pretty object, go for it. if you want something that actually functions as a dust pan, you will be very disappointed. the edge of the dust pan is not flat or flexible so it doesn't make contact with the floor, you end up pushing the dust underneath the pan. also, the brush loses its shape very quickly and looks bad. nice idea, poor execution.

Because tipping the thing over and pouring out the contents into the trash is to hard, so spend $59+ on this.
