First one I got had a stitching issue with it (look snagged). Sent a picture to Matador and got an immediate response and replacement. A plus for Customer Service. Made no excuses, just apologized. it is extremely thin but the compact size makes up for that. I have a few of these (car, backpack, cabin, etc) for just in case. When the grass is damp I put one of these down first, then a blanket. Wish the size of it were a bit bigger. Basically good for one person...not a family of four.

We bought thi for Disney world it was such a good idea! It's so tiny and so easy to fold up quick. We used it to sit on the ground during parades and fireworks, it really really comes in handy.
Great little portable blanket!

Comfy for one. A small squeeze for two. Great materials, looks great. The red and gray areas are of differing materials. I'd think the red is meant for the feet or shoes. It's more coarse. The grey material is very smooth and soft, with much finer dernier than the red part. Was hoping to see if this could double as emergency blanket. But aside than blocking wind, this will not reflect heat.
Weights are far from sufficient to hold down blanket, even in 5mph winds. Will be better to give tiny pockets to throw in keys or other things to use as weights since we all carry them anyways.
There are small loops on each corner that could be used to attach a small carabiner to hang up; or if you so desire, attach your own small loops of paracords to use with tent pegs or other means of attaching the blanket /tarp. I will be adding some to each corner so I can create a shelter at the beach since I already have a bigger blanket for that.
The store pouch is sewn on to blanket. No way to lose it. It only covers portion of the folded stack which holds it well enough and gives the grey/red attractive contrast when packaged up. This is a good looking blanket.
Keeping this in the backpack for those lovely impromptu sit downs under the California sun!
Great Quality, Not 100% waterproof!

Great but it's not 100% water (as most products claim). Pour water on it, it will stay on top but still get wet on bottom . It's not perfectly waterproof but still a great product. I use under my tent backpacking, I cut out the corners to remove the weights so it would be more light weight. Very durable fabric, have only couple holes in it now but they don't contribute to tear like some fabrics due, so easy to patch it needed. Used it for 3 months of packpacking! Love how compacts it gets. I also cut out the piuch to save weight and extra material.
Hopefully 2.0 version is better

It was great at first... but once you take it out you can pretty much never get back in. Esp when you are using it outdoors you don't want to have to take such a long time trying to squeeze it back into the tiny bag. Had to sew an old sock into the existing bag so I'm not constantly fighting it. Works for now
Neat outdoor blanket!

We wanted a small, lightweight blanket for a music festival and this was perfect! It's so small it fits into my wife's small purse. After a long day at a multi-day music festival, it's great to be able to pull this out and relax on the grass.
It appears to be made out of a thin but very tough nylon, so we didn't have any issues with it ripping. I know they make a smaller version of this, but I think this one is perfect. The smaller version is probably only big enough for one person to sit comfortably.
Super light, easy to fold, great for festivals

This blanket is awesome. I bought it to bring to a festival and it was super convenient. While you will never be able to fold it as perfectly as its factory condition, if you follow the guides handily stitched into the blanket you can get it easily into its attached carrying pouch. It's very light and takes up no room in a bag or large pocket.
I wish the weights on the corners were a little
heavier as the fabric is so lightweight it blew around very easily, but that would compromise its portability a bit. The fabric, though light, is very sturdy and held up brilliantly through 3 days of being trod on at a music festival!
I'll be carrying this with me all the time. It's the perfect solution for someone who loves being outdoors but doesn't have the thickest skin!
Lightweight portable picnic blanket
by Micah (4 out of 5 stars)

I got this blanket to keep in my backpack for unplanned park lunches or sketching outings. It's very small and lightweight and can fit 2-3 people sitting upright on it. It's moisture resistant but not as much as thicker, bulkier picnic blankets.
Overall very good, I'd buy it again.
If I had one major complaint, it's that the pouch is simply too small. Just make it 2 inches longer and it wouldn't add any bulk but would completely contain the folded blanket.
too small, too thin, hard to re-pack
by Bear (1 out of 5 stars)

This blanket was too thin to be useful and nearly impossible to fold back into it's original pouch. The ultra-thin design did appear to be water-resistant but I felt like I might tear it just sitting down. It is also smaller than I would recommend for a picnic or beach blanket.
It's a great idea but a carrying pouch that's actual re-usable would have been more helpful.
Just ok.

Just ok.
You will not be able to fold it and get it all the way back in the bag. The size of the pouch is unrealistic, even under normal conditions. If you are outside, in the wind, sand, dirt, dark; you will never fit it at all back in the pouch.
This blanket has stitching on it that is supposed to show you how to fold it. It is still way too faint, and of very poor contrast to be able to see it. A single red thread on the gray background simply isn't that visible.
