Frustrating beyond belief, but cool idea

Really cool idea. Got my son interested in setting his alarm and taking responsibility on his own to get himself up being an interesting alarm clock. HOWEVER, this alarm clock is VERY difficult to figure out how to turn off. This thing will go off all day if it does not respond to only turning off the alarm using the gun. Also, you can't set a different weekend alarm and it's difficult to turn off the alarm mode. I seriously want to take a real gun to this thing and throw it out the window. If you want to keep your sanity or desire to actually sleep in on a Saturday morning, you may want to go to the next purchase. I am about to look for something else. Signed, Frustrated beyond belief

Began smoking and smelled of burning plastic

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew. This was the 2nd one I purchased because the 1st one was broken. He got this one and used it for 5 minutes before it stopped working and started smoking and smelling like burning plastic. My sister immediately unplugged it. Needless to say it was very frustrating for me and my nephew.

Love this# it wakes me up. But not sure how to make the alarm stop because it will go off for like 3 or 4 hours at a time every 10 mins. Haven't looked up now batteries are out right now

The little target that pops up, brand new out of the box, has a really hard time actually springing up. Sometimes the alarm will go off, but it wont even budge. I think the add should have been clearer as well that the target shooting is only a snooze button. You can't turn off the alarm completely with the shooter.

This is a cool novelty, but the clock loses its time and you really don't need to aim to turn it off. I got this to help prevent me from snoozing too much, but after a few days the clock was wrong. Additionally, you can just shoot anywhere in the room and it will turn off. This only runs on batteries, and doesn't allow you to plug in a power cord, so the batteries can go dead and you'll be late for work.

We took a chance and ordered this and it has paid off so far! One month in... My son is waking up and going right into target practice. Not exactly how I pictured our mornings to be, but at least he's not sleeping through the dang alarm!

Only issue we had was that the power supply outlet pushed into the clock after only one use. I can't fully verify that it wasn't simply a 9-yr-old's over zealous connection attempts...

Turns out, having it run on battery power is better because mom can hide it under a pillow if she needs a little time to figure out how to adjust the settings. I've gone it and I may one day have to do it again... Mornings are early.

Garbage. You must record your own alarm tone/song, and it sounds like garbage no matter what you do. Also the clock is not illuminated unless triggered by the alarm. The gun and target system work great if they only thought about the alarm tone aspect. Amazing product idea, poorly thought out.
