I haven't managed to break the wire yet. It seems fairly rugged. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. It lights my keyboard because I sometimes stay awake after my wife goes to bed and I can see the keyboard without disturbing her. Good product. I do recommend it. Took about 19 days to get here, but that's not too bad considering the price.. plus it's coming from the other side of the world and all. :) I try to place the center of gravity mostly over the USB jack so as to not allow too much of a twisting motion on the jack itself. It will extend straight out and not fall out, but I just do things like that to make things last longer if I can. No need for all that torsion on the jack if you can help it. Y'll take care. 11/29/2018- Review update.

I reached out to the company informing them know of the defective product. They responded quickly and sent me new a replacement that works just fine. Now that I have fully experienced the product, I love it. The light is bright, cute, and unique.

Changing this to 5 stars for customer service and for the product.

Won't stay lit.

Only reason this gets 2 stars is that the company finally refunded me. Seller even admitted the product was defective and suggested ways to the hood to keep it lit (of course even this suggestion didn't work). Fun product but when the helmet is moved back it's supposed to click the light on and keep it on. It doesn't and he obviously has had this complaint before. Very disappointing.

This item was great for just a moment. I recieved it then tried it out. I loved it. I was in the process of testing out how it adjusts and heard a snap.. turns out a wire inside busted from testing and adjusting it.. wires should be more flexible for such an item. Figured that would be common sense. Dislike.

My Helmet does not turn it on. I seam to have a limp helmet that never turns it on. I push hard on the tip of the helmet but I cant turn him on. I can turn him on with my finger though so I know he is able to be turned on.

I was expecting the light to be brighter than what it is. And the flex cord doesn't hold the weight of the astronaut well; it droops within a few seconds of trying to position it. But it is cute and novelty. I'd probably buy it again just for those reasons.

Very cool but heavy. I would not recommend putting in your PC or MAC USB ports. Wicked cool wall night light though
