The Arctic Cove 18-Volt Bucket Top Misting Fan has all the same great features of the previous model, but now includes a new Hi/Lo switch for adjustable fan and misting control, and quiet pump performance. It's completely portable through the use of an 18-volt lithium-ion battery, so it allows you to cool down in any location. The dual-purpose foot design is for sitting on 5 Gal. buckets or on a flat surface using garden hose adapter.

Quiet, and very wet

I give this 4 stars, because it is affordable, portable, cordless. The nozzles are not adjustable and they put out a lot of moisture. If you are looking for superfine mist, you may be disappointed. The coarser mist was good for the outdoor event we used it for, although if you walked too close to it your sunglasses would get too wet to see. The battery held a charge for several hours, but the charger set up is tiny and takes a while to re-charge. If you have ryobi rechargeable devices, such as a weed-eater or drill, those batteries fit.

Great summer cooler

Saw a buddy using this on the field one day and had to try it. If you have royobi power tools this is a dream as it uses the same battery's and you would only be limited by how much water to could get. I have used this for BBQ, on the kids sport field, and the beach. I have yet to use it with a hose . Wish there was an option for wall plug as I don't personally have and royobi battery so only the 1's it comes with.

Wish we bought it sooner!

Why didn't we know about these sooner! This under a canopy at sports games in Vegas....Game changer! Seriously feels like a 15 degree drop! We loved it so much we bought 2. We bring it everywhere. NASCAR tailgating...yep, soccer, football, parks....yep yep yep! If you spend time outside get this! Everyone around us is always asking where we found it!

Keeping cool while outside

This is great to help cool off when your outside and you don't mind getting a little wet. You have to put it in a place that you don't mind water and it's best to have two batteries at least so when one is charging you can use the other one to run the fan or mister. we took this to reggae on the river in August and it worked out perfectly to keep our volunteers comfortable.

Took it to a soccer tournament and it worked like magic. Now, I'm thinking that this may also be used during desert camping. We cannot believe we hesitated. So worth it!

Need additional batteries

Cool idea but batter life is terrible. 2.5 hours tops with fan only. Takes Ryobi batteries. Charger takes forever to charge. For what it cost I wish I would have received two batteries and a high speed charger. As far as the fan itself..... awesome. Works great and really helps the heat.

This thing is awesome but you need to make sure to purchase additional batteries. This will run approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours with the pump on.
