If you saw the first Despicable Me you remember the funny scene where the minion cracks the other one like a glow stick. Well, that one scene is what inspired me to buy this. Unfortunately its not bright enough to actually use to walk around in the dark with but its still a cute little toy

Way small for price but all minion toys are costly so it was no surprise. The power button us SUPER hard to press. It doesn't even consistently stay on all the time, it occasionally flashes on and off slowly. The battery compartment is either glued or melted shut on back corner so it's a huge challenge to change batteries. And after 2 months it has stopped working all together with no heavy or rough play. It just sits on side of daughtes bed as a night light. NOT worth the money even though when it was in working condition it was cute and daughter did like it.

You'll have to reset from demo mode. Just take out batteries for 10 sec. Put them back in and hold the power button till it flashes. Paint seems kind of cheap. Works out for my daughter tho. Perfect size.

My son has two of these. He has them in his bed. You can turn it on easily and it shuts off itself after a while. It does not get hot either, so you don't need to worry about kids getting burned if they play with it.

My son loved this but it broke a week after purchase. It would turn on then off after 30 seconds. Note it refuses to turn on at all. I changed batteries and still nothing.

I bought this for my son to take to bed with him. After figuring out how to turn it off demo mode (thank you other reviewers!) it stays on for a good time amount and lets off a good amount of light.

Little guy loves Despicable Me (or speckled me as he calls it). The minion is made of soft plastic and the light is a nice soft glow for the little fella to go to sleep with. It turns on by touching one of his feet, seems to be pretty easy on batteries as well.
