I saw a lot of reviews saying that they did and didn't fit Howard Leights well. I took a chance and can report back that they fit great. If you can fold your own laundry you can put these on without the Velcro showing. And they make them more comfortable too!

I Don't Understand Why It's Good

I wasn't sure I needed this since my MSA Sordin headset wasn't uncomfortable to begin with, but all the reviews raged about how great it is, so I went with it. Honestly I cannot tell the difference in terms of comfort at all. The loop for clipping stuff onto it is useful, but I wouldn't have spent the money just for that feature. It also seems a tad short for the MSA Sordin headphones, and the stock cover had separate loops to put the wire through, which to me seems like a good feature that the UST is missing. I don't get it!

I really like the cover for my headset (Howard Leight Impact Sport) it works well and gives just the right amount of cushion and comfort. I ran an extra velcro strap underneath the D-Ring even though it did not need it just my preference (I'm paranoid like that). I wear these all day on the range with no issues great product!

I had experience with this cover prior to purchasing. I have several coworkers who had shown me their covers over the past few months. All of theirs had survived the months of abuse up to that point, so I ordered one too.

The biggest pro is that it comes with clips to secure the cord when the headset it worn, but not actively hooked to a comm system. The peltors are already comfortable, so the padding doesn't really add that much additional (or take away) the comfort from the strap across the top of your head. Being able to add a light might be useful, but It's unlikely I'd use that feature. Although I received the head set cover with some minor damage, the customer support was far and beyond exceptional, having a new (perfect) one in my hand in 2 days.

This is not only a great fit on my Howard Leight Impact Sport OD electric headset, but it increases comfort as well. I could feel the headset's band pressing on my head before, but after attaching the USTS cover, I feel nothing thanks to the lightweight, breathable padding. Adding the row of MOLLE loops along the top provides you with various options for hanging the headset from your vest or rig such as using the included D ring or any of various others. I attach it to my chest rig by sliding the D ring into a Grimloc (made by ITW). The ability to attach my flashlight mounted ITW Picatinny QASM Ramp is also a plus. I use the same excellent quality, genuine Multicam fabric and bartacking as found on this item for modding my pack and rig. USTS designed this cover to be modular (as included in its name), but also durable, comfortable, and practical. Did I mention I LOVE Multicam? Especially when the product is made from the genuine material and well constructed. This is an excellent, made in the U.S.A. product. I'll be checking back with by U.S. Tactical Sewing.for new products.

I bought this headset cover to go with a Heil Sound BM-17 headset that I use in my truck for mobile ECOM. I'm impressed at the thoroughness of the design, it's functionality and quality of manufacture; it's quite robust. [This kit actually makes the headset very functional whereas by itself the Heil is not an impressive headset.] The accessories are excellent additions, and I'd even say they're 'must-haves' for any mobile/portable comms kit. As a volunteer in ECOM organizations I use a dedicated computer, a TNC, and an external soundcard that interface with the Yaesu FT-8900R in my truck. In addition, the BM-17 uses a Heil adapter which includes a PTT switch, with which I've integrated a CW keyer. All of this adds up to a bunch of wires, and being able to stow them along with the headset with the accessories provided is a big plus and easily worth the additional cost. For fellow hams who volunteer, ARES/RACES, MARS, etc., I highly recommend this product.

The USTS headset cover is outstanding, it meets or exceeds my expectations. I have been able to test it both in real world scenarios deployed to Iraq as well as on ranges. The headset cover is made of quality material that combined with the quality workmanship delivers a great product. On the ranges living in high desert country, this cover helps with my Peltor WS Tactical Sport in preventing sweat build up thanks to the mesh lined cushion that allows for airflow a great feature.

Now for the one and only "con", while I will still give it five stars because who are we kidding this is at most a miniscule issue that is easily solved for the price of a mini s-ring or a d-ring. I would like to see the headset cover get an additional d-ring on the shooters right side.

Having said all this, I highly recommend this. I have also bought one for my wife who owns the same type of headset as I do and she loves her cover.

I have a good collection of headphones

I have a good collection of headphones, when I saw this it struck me as something cool but i was hesitant because it is designed with a specific application and headsets involved. I decided to take a gamble because a pair of sennheiser momentum wireless headphones I was ordering looked to have a fairly basic head band and I tend to like them a bit more padded, also they are wireless so the idea of being able to fasten the charging cable or the optional headphone cable to them for easy management sounded nice. I am happy to say the gamble has paid off, this headset cover fits perfectly. I can still collapse the set, get some extra padding, and keeping the cables with the headset is going to be a snap. I also love the added d-ring because I can create a place for them to live while I'm not using them by hanging them with the ring.

Will fit the Walker's Razor Slim with a slight 10 min mod.

So I bought my original USTS cover a couple years ago for my Peltor TAC 100's and it fit great with no mod. So when I recently purchased my new Walker's Razor Slim, I had read some reviews that this wouldn't quite fit them that well because it left about a 1/2" of the Velcro still showing when wrapped. I solved that problem in about 10 minutes with a sharp pair of wire cutters. I cut a 1/4" from each side of the head band on my new headset after placing the cover on and marking the length with a silver sharpie. I then put 3 pieces gorilla tape securing the original headband in place. Then I wrapped the new USTS cover on and it fit like a glove. No Velcro showing. Didn't really want to cut my new headset but I absolutely love this USTS cover with the D ring. I don't regret it because it's never coming off now anyways. Just like my first one.

Purchased for the Peltor Sport Tactical 300 Electronic muffs. It has a great fit and really helps to make the headset more comfortable. Most reviews stated that the headband on the 300's and 500's were uncomfortable and this cover remedies that. I also love the Kryptek pattern.
