This product came open with all of the peanuts all over the rest of the shipment. Everything was stained with oil. Do not buy this product, it is not returnable. Very frustrating. I only rated with one star because zero stars is not a choice.

Andrew Zimmern gave these a great review, I bought them and am thoroughly disappointed! The flavor was okay. None of the flavor gets into the peanuts. So if you are like me and you thought the deep frying would make the shell more edible, like me you will be very disappointed. I keep trying to figure out why Zimmern would give these such a glowing endorsement? I tried a couple, had my sons try a couple and put them straight into the garbage.

I will not be having more of these. I think the quality was fine and the oil was fresh enough. I had never tried to eat a peanut shell. It may be an aquired taste. I'll not aquire it unless I get hungrier than I have been heretofore.

Still, it was fun to try them.

Sadly, they are too salty to give to the squirrels and the birds so they had to go into the compost.

Again -- it was fun to try them. :)

Omg you guys...these are so good! I was hesitant at first because, not having been raised in the south, of the shell ripping my throat apart. YOU EAT THE DANG SHELL TOO and it has the same texture and brittleness as a doggone triscuit cracker, FOR REALZ. I've made them at home, but they're just not the same as Uncle Bud's...

Do not waste your money

This was WAY too expensive for the amount you get and you cannot return this product. I've had other brands of these that didn't cost nearly this much and tasted much better. I used to love these, but this brand has turned me off to fried peanuts. Do not waste your money.

Not edible shells!

Disappointed. I expected shells that were edible. These were literally just regular peanuts that appear to have been soaked in oil and salted. The shells were utterly inedible. I tried one and it tasted hard and burnt. Won't buy again.

These peanuts are great to eat in the shell or cracked! They arent as Spicy or hot as advertised so they could use a little more HEAT but they do have pretty good flavor. Thats why they only get 4 stars. My first time having Deep Fried Peanuts and wont be the last.

I love these but this seller sent me old nasty burned bags :( I expected fresh ones like I have purchased from gas stations in Texas and along the southern highways. Very disappointed!!!

Not as expected. The shell maybe fried but peanuts are not really fried!! And not taste. All that they did is to put salt on the shell

VERY tasty peanuts. But I do NOT eat the shells. Pretty garnly to eat the shells. But just so you know...the peanuts are wicked tasty!
