Solid, stable and updated push cartby Bill (4 out of 5 stars)

Just got this cart last week and was able to play 2 rounds this weekend. I ordered it on Monday night and it was fulfilled by Rock Bottom Golf. Originally, the delivery window was a week, but I received it Wednesday afternoon -- very quick service. I ordered the black model, but unlike the picture it cam with white hubcaps -- not a big deal, just noting it. I have one of the original Sun Mountain Speed Carts (with the inflatable tires) which I had been using for 8-10 years. I was looking for something smaller and, to be honest, I am a bit of a gadget guy so I liked the cool factor of it.
The unit is tiny when collapsed, perhaps 2/3 the size of the Speed Cart. Unfolding it is still a bit of a challenge and I haven't got the hang of it yet. It might have been better to have a step such as on the Clicgear 8.0. I have a Sun Mountain C130 cart bag and the bottom strap barely fits around the bottom of the bag, but it does fit. When loaded the cart roles well, although it does seem to have a bit more resistance when pushed through the rough (we have Bermuda on our course which can get a little thick). I also noticed that is does not handle rough surfaces as well as my old cart. I played with different angles for the handles, but have ended up returning them to the flat angle. One advantage with the straight handle is that it makes it convenient to put your glove on it when on the green or between shots.
The two storage compartments are spacious and a big improvement over the Speed Cart. In my old cart all I could fit was my laser. In this cart I put the laser in the smaller compartment and my iPhone 6+ in the larger one, both have plenty of space for other items. Both lids are held closed by magnets which makes them more secure if the cart tips over or if you forget to take your valuable out when you collapse it. The cup holder is detachable and connects to the handle between the unit and the user. While I like the cart a lot, the cup holder is a big miss. If you put something wide in it, the whole unit will detach when you lift the drink. Also having the drink stick out makes it potentially hit your stomach or something else if the handle is lower. I found an unexpected solution for this. The Yeti 30oz Tumbler (which is a fantastic product) fits perfectly in the fork below the lower compartment. It almost feels if it was designed specifically for that space. Despite the metal to metal contact, it doesn't rattle or shift even on rough surfaces.
The front right wheel wobbles a bit and at the end of the first round the unit started to pull to the right. In the box there were instructions and an allen wrench to adjust wheel alignment, I have not tried that as yet. Overall, I am very pleased with the unit and hope the unit holds up as well as my original Speed Cart.
Poor value considering the price

Poor value considering the price. Lightweight, but does not appear to be durable. locking mechanism for handle became disengaged when hitting a bump during first use. Difficult to maintain bag stability, had to keep re-positioning bag during the first round I used it. Not good for hilly courses as the upper bag brackets do not have a strap. Also the folding/unfolding is a bit convoluted. It does fold up smaller than any other unit, which is why I bought it. Takes up very little space in the trunk. It would be good for someone who only plays a few times a year, or someone who has space limitations. I had a clickgear cart prior to this, and there is no comparison in quality.

Sun Mountain makes great products and stands behind them. I won't buy any other brand. I play 125 walking rounds a year and my Sun Mountain cart has been performing for 3 years. This cart purchase was for my son.

There are somethings with the cart that are not clear in the info. You need to use a strap to hold the bottom of the bag. The cover is black not red. There are no tee holders. The cup holder comes off all the time. All in all I wish I had just got another Micro cart.
Great Buy.

I like the cart but only give it 4 stars because it seems to be mostly plastic and I wonder how long it is going to last. Also, the instructions said to turn the handles to the desired position. I could not make the handles turn. I contacted Sun Mountain to ask them how and got no reply. Finally today - after 2 months I worked out that you have to pull the handles in order to turn them. Nowhere in the instructions was that mentioned.

Love the quick opening and collapse mechanics. Collapses to very small footprint. Rolls great. Cup holder and unbrella holder could be destined better.
Love the cart, but it's not durable...

I loved using the cart on the course, it is lightweight, rides over all kinds of terrain, and is compact for my trunk. However, I used it once and already the disc parts of the handles have broken or have fallen off and are gone. I'm not rough on my gear, but I don't think these parts were manufactured well...
