Disappointed

I didn't expect much from a $11 product but at least be true to the description. Product description says the dimension is 650 x 170 mm. But when I received it it's barely 600x150mm.That's about an inch shorter in width and 2 inch shorter in length. I don't know how people are finding it so comfortable to give 5 stars because even though I wear US size 8 shoes, I believe a width of around 9 to 10 inch (230-250mm) would be ideal. Anything less would just support your ankle and half of your foot would be hanging outside the hammock. Also there are no instructions how to use and the clips are not secured using any screws etc.

Brackets don't fit every desk
by Finchy (2 out of 5 stars)

The brackets that connect the hammock to the desk are designed only for the type of table in the sales picture. If your desk isn't just a flat board over legs, they won't lay flat, and they'll fall off. I'd consider buying it later if they develop different types of brackets.

I'm pregnant -- this is saving my feet and ankles
by Kristie H. (5 out of 5 stars)
July 21, 2017

I'm five months pregnant and as it's July, I've started to experience some normal swelling in my ankles and feet. I sit at a desk for 7 hours a day, and wanted a way to prop my feet up from time to time to give my feet and ankles a rest. I debated sticking a box under my desk, but ordered the FUUT (for $8 how could I not try it?). I love it! It was easy to install, didn't damage my desk at all, and is a comfortable way for me to elevate my feet on and off throughout the day. It's not even visible on the other side of my desk. I work at a corner, and it was still easy and straightforward to install. Took some adjusting to get it just right for the height/distance I need, but it's a great, needed new option for this pregnant lady! I even noticed a decrease in leg cramps last night after my first day using it.

Completely helped my aching knees
by Sarah Wilson (5 out of 5 stars)

This 110% solved my aching knees from sitting at a desk all day. I have knee issues that started around the time of puberty. During my growth spurts, my bones and muscles grew at different rates. The end result was horribly knocked knees and no cartilage where it should be (+frequent patellar displacement and lots of other issues). I can't even sit through the length of a movie without it resulting in pretty extreme swelling and discomfort. As a workday is typically about 4-5x longer, you can imagine the kind of pain I was in before I got this. The hooks fit perfectly on the edges of my desk (cheapie from Ikea) and the strings allow me to be able to extend my legs all the way out or keep my knees bent as though they were on the stool without having to adjust the hammock-however I feel the most comfortable. My only word of advice would be to make sure that you measure the depth of the top of your desk to be sure that it will fit. Other than that, enjoy!

i love it but

ok so this is the silliest idea ever but its also ingenious. i laughed at myself for buy it. that being said. OMG I LOVE THIS THING. let me say this its got a few things it can improve on. one is the "rope" used to hang it from the brackets. its not that strong.one side broke after a maybe a month. i used a small piece of parachute rope to replace the one side and the other side is still the original rope. also the stitching that holds the material around the wood came apart at the seams which i just sewed it back with extra treading on both side for reinforcement. the last is the brackets themselves. they hold ok however, they do slide around quite a bit even with the pad that comes with them i solved this buy putting a screw through each mounting it to the desk and now have no complaints whats so ever. i kick my feet up and relax its completely and easily adjustable to have as high or low as you like. i wish i came up with this idea. cant do with out it now that ive got it. would have give 5 stars but i had to do all that work to it.

Doesn't stay in place, unusable with a corner desk.
by Ceej (1 out of 5 stars)

I was so excited for this product. I love having my feet up while at my desk.

Unfortunately, this thing doesn't stay in place at all, the brackets slide around if you're not putting weight on it. Resulting in it sliding all over the place if you bump it while trying to put your feet up. Half the time the brackets slide off and you've got to get under your desk and pick them up. This could have easily been resolved by putting a little silicone or rubber on the brackets where they meet the desk.

It's also unusable on a corner desk. If the brackets aren't parallel with each other, then it's going to slide all over the place on you.

If you were willing to anchor these in place with something or to drill a hole to bolt it down, it could be pretty nice. But without something to keep it in place, you're basically just buying frustration and annoyance here.

It was ok

I like having being able to keep my feet up while I am working at my desk. The issue I have is, I feel like if I keep my feet in this for about an hour or so they are achy because of the way my feet end up together. The hammock easily twists up and moves around so its not always easy to keep my feet how I want them. I think I would rather have a small foot stool under my desk then this. Having a desk with open sides also makes this work, I don't know how you can put it up without open sides.

Never knew I needed this! But tough install depending on your desk
by Shop049 (5 out of 5 stars)
September 19, 2016

Exactly as described!

The hooks that clamp onto the table are pretty stiff, though. It's hard to make them change sizes to fit your desk. Which is good news if your desk is the perfect size of the clasps! However, I highly suggest bringing tools like a hammer to install this to clamp the clasps better to your desk. I have not done that yet, but I have backed my desk into a wall that holds the clasps ok.

My desk was not the perfect clasp size. I do not have open sides to my desk, but I put the clasps at the two far ends of the table and it holds the foot hammock ok. See the photos for reference.

Once you master installation, this product is AWESOME! Seriously falls under the category of "didn't know I needed it until I heard of it."

this also works great on a hanging hammock chair for a footrest
by Summer Maddie (5 out of 5 stars)

I didn't use it under a desk, I bought it to attach it to a hanging hammock chair. Thought I would have to buy chains and adapt their length to match my legs. But, it turned out, all I needed was 2 spring clips, that I attached to the ends of the rope on the footrest, and then to the sides of my swing chair. Did not need the two metal desk hardware either.Worked perfect. My feet are no longer dangling with no support. Just relax back in my chair with my feet on the footrest and it's so very relaxing! Reasonable price too.

LOVE this thing.

I'm using this thing as I write this and I looooooove it. It comes with two metal brackets that the hammock hangs off of. I work at a table rather than a traditional desk, and I had no problem tucking them under the tabletop so they hang on the frame of the table itself. I did it alone and in less than a minute. Then you just adjust the ample rope to the height that makes you comfortable. And it's SO COMFORTABLE. Game changer - highly recommend!
