Thank you for saving my Achilles!by Wanderingalien (5 out of 5 stars)

I fell while rock climbing and shattered both of my heels. After being 100% unable to bear weight for so long, my doctor was very concerned at how weak my feet were and how tight my Achilles had become. I had been doing all of the stretches he asked, but they were not progressing. In desperation, I ordered this device. Before I could even stand up, I began stretching using this while sitting in my wheelchair. I'd put my foot on the incline and slowly roll forward until I felt the stretch. I'd hold for a minute, then switch to the other foot. I'd repeat this for about an hour every morning. I think this was the most beneficial although doing the other exercises using the bands were helpful too. After a few weeks using this, my surgeon was thrilled with the progress I had made. I began walking again and I know I walked sooner than I would have had I not ordered the Foot Gym. I'm so grateful for this product - I am still healing and using the foot gym in my journey to get back to 100%. This was a great investment.
I will say, I never use the massaging piece of it as I have a couple of other foot massagers I like better. For me though, having the incline and the resistance bands are totally worth it. Thank you Foot Gym!
Much better than going to PT.

I went to PT for 3 months after wearing a boot for 4 months. I felt better. Once I stopped doing the excercises, my foot started to hurt again.
This Gym rocks!! Much sturdier than I would have expected for the price. Instructions are clear.
Finally.... foot pain relief!

I'm on my feet all day in customer service. My feet hurt a lot by the end of the day. I have plantar fasciitis. I'm also 315 pounds which doesn't help the added pressure on my feet. When I get home it's nice to sit on the couch & use the foot gym. I have been doing this daily for about 1 week now. I started noticing a difference after 6 days. I don't have the severe pain I used to have. I'm hoping with more use the plantar fasciitis will get healed. The best part is using the blue roller at the end of my exercise session. I fill it with water & freeze it the day before. It's a soothing reward to my feet & takes down the swelling. I totally recommend this product.
Makes standard foot exercises easy and repeatable

Easily reconfigurable for doing multiple PT-style foot exercises using one device.
The bands quickly reposition for left and right foot and different tensions.
I've had problems in the past overexerting myself and causing more pain when using the standard "towel gathering" method for toe flexion. Calibrated bands eliminate the possibility of exerting too much isometric contraction. Much less likely to suffer a strain.
Nice to be able to easily switch between toe extension, flection, and foot dorsiflexion without reconfiguring when doing a circuit for one foot.
You do have to lean in and get your knee over the device to keep it from lifting when doing toe flexion or foot dorsiflexion. Not a big deal.
The heatable/coolable roller is a nice addition.
Great product though

Had 4-weeks of physio for plantar fasciitis and had minor improvement. The foot gym really built up the required muscles in 6-8 days (started on the medium band, and worked up to the highest (and actually you can combine the two highest for stronger effect). The only minor issue was that some of the exercises were tricky as the item isn't planted (it is still solid but would need to be screwed into the ground for maximal effect). Great product though.
LOVE IT!!

I love the fact that five out of seven exercises can be done in a sitting positions. When u have planter fascialitis in both feet it's hard to do a lot of exercises standing up. I love the fact that their is 3 level of intensity to work up to. Also it all store away in a nice compact size piece of equipment.
Pretty Good Product

The Foot Gym is constructed pretty good and appears to be durable. It is just what I needed to rehab the torn tendon running along the bottom center of my foot. I get more exercise and rehab from this than from picking up marbles with my toes or rolling a frozen water bottle under my foot. Just don't fill the rubber roller all the way with water it will burst in the freezer. I will try to get another. Love this Item.
Helps replace that towel balling exercise & seems more effective

This is a pretty decent design to help with my foot. One of the exercises I was instructed to do involves balling up a towel with my foot...a rather extremely difficult task to do with a good foot. The bands help a lot for this. The roller is a nice add-on, though you have to replace it to put it away vertically. Overall, worth it.
You stretch and exercise everything else, Don't Forget Your Feet.

I'm 75 and have been involved in athletics all my life. May me hard to believe but I'm still playing tennis and lacrosse. I've had coaches and trainers teach me proper stretching exercises for my arms, shoulders, hips, legs, and etc. but no one ever told me to exercise my feet and toes. After running on mine for all these years they hurt, heels and toes. In physical therapy I used something similar as a toe gripper. This Foot Gym is much better and provides a system with additional exercises that strengthen the foot. It has worked for me and I'm back playing full bore.
I LOVE IT! LIFE CHANGING!

I have partial paralysis in my right leg and drop foot in my left foot. Because I'm also dealing with cancer, therapy for these things wasnt my main concern. I havent even leveled up to using the bands. I've just been stretching my Achilles tendon on it a lot. It has made more of a difference in my walking than any half paying attention therapist. I love it. I usually regret buying things like this because a lot of companies prey on the disabled. This is not one of those. It's a great little foot gym and will help if you actually use it.
