the act of erasing can provide a social commentary about the world we live in, remove traces of DNA, and clean the remnants of our mistakes. when we think of this action, the most common form we recall is the bright pink cylinder of rubber that caps off one end of the pencils we have used since kindergarten. we would push its body into the flimsy material of our homework papers out of frustration from the fact that we did something wrong, only to realize that the lead was actually spreading farther to the corners of the pristine white surface. instead of fully starting over, peleg design has taken this sequence of events into consideration with 'penball'. the firm has transformed the dull, bulbous shape into a fun foosball player that makes writing and erasing a playful tasks. by being able to slide onto any writing utensil, more interactions with coworkers and classmates are encouraged where teams are distinguished by red and blue.
