Purple Lighted Pool

I bought these little purple lights for my granddaughter and we fastened them on top of our above ground swimming pool with Christmas light hooks for gutters and they worked perfectly. If you could have seen her face the first time she saw them lit when we were in the pool at night and they came on..it was like magic ! Her face just lit up !! I love them !! It was the best thing I bought. The pool is right out from my bedroom door and I let it open and can see the purple lights all night when I get up to let out the dog. I am going to buy more for our deck next year.

Lovely and relaxing

I was a little worried about the color of these because most of the pictures look more pinkish than purple. I was very happy when I strung them along my deck railing to see they are more purple/violet than pink. My deck railing looks stunning and the string of lights makes it so much more relaxing with the subtle lights when sitting outside at night. My husband even thinks they are beautiful and sat outside enjoying them tonight after I put them up!

I really do not care for the blinking mode on the switch however, it reminds me of blinking Christmas lights. I personally prefer the option to have the lights constantly on. I will definitely be ordering more of these lights in another color to scatter along a rock wall in one of my gardens.

The cord without lights coming out of the solar panel is long enough to just set on the corner of the deck where it isn't very noticeable, so the lights line the deck railing without extra lights leading down to the panel. It also comes with a garden stake as well.

So many possibilities with these, string them along a deck or patio, drape them on bushes, or wrap them around posts or trees!

Very happy with these!

Love these lights. I have them around my gnome garden in the backyard. I had purchased 4 sets of these but I shared with my friend. She put hers surrounding her pool. Very calming serene effect.Ordering more for daughter and my mother!

These are very pretty, I like the unusual color (purple/violet). They last a long time on a full day charge. They illuminate enough to see the flowers, but not the surrounding area. The flowers are approx 1 inch in size. More is better for a shrub. For a 4 ft square shrub you should get at least 2 strings. It also depends on how "bulky" the foliage is. More leaves need less lighting, I think. The seller photo of the purple lights on a bush looks like at least 4 sets. The wires are very thin, so I would recommend using 4 inch zip ties to avoid accidentally breaking them by twisting them around something to hold the flowers in place. The flowers look best facing the viewer and the zip ties help with orientation since there are no fasteners on the bulbs like "traditional" christmas style lights. Very cool and unusual effect for landscape lighting.

I've had them for a couple months now, all lights are still functioning.

I have the lights on a fake tree indoors with the solar sensor on the window sill. Color and brightness are perfect for what I was looking for.

I like the fact it just works on it's own. Turns on at dusk, runs until the power's gone

I live off grid and have a lot of experience with solar powered stuff. These are lovely but I can't recommend them. Even if you are very careful they are going to break because the copper wiring is so ridiculously thin. I've had multiple brands and they have all had to be fixed. Believe me this is a huge pain. Until the quality of solar powered christmas lights improves I would steer clear of them.

Good reliable lights

These lights are very cute. I bought them to go in and around an outdoor play house that my daughter has. They add a nice pretty, girly touch to it and provide just enough light for her to see when the sun sets. These things have powered on every day without fail for the last 2-3 months. The only complaint I have about them is the battery life. While they charge well every day, even the cloudy rainy days, they never seem to last more then 3 hours or so after dark. Now since I'm using them on the play house and my daughter doesn't need them to stay on very late, they've been a good buy for our purposes, but if you need an all night charge, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, great.

Beautiful and convenient. However one strand lost brightness and then did not stay on very long.

Update. Stopped working both strings.

It would be nice if they would replace them.

I purchased THREE strands... 1 for my daughters window, two to put on our LED tree that has white lights. I wanted to add some cool color.. I opened 2 boxes and put on the indoor tree.. The first day the lights lit up beautifully... Have not lit up as bright since.. The strand in my daughters room look great... but we just put them up today to see if they will stay on.... ***********UPDATE********** After having contact with the company that has sent me the original lights they have since made good on the light purchase. They were quick to address my concerns and make things right. I would buy from them again due to the quick response from them.
