Product Description
Our Titanium line of products contains high-end camping and survival products designed to be durable and extremely lightweight.
The Mizu mug is an insulated titanium mug. It's double-wall titanium construction keeps your drink warm, but more importantly it keeps the outside of the mug cool to the touch even with boiling liquids inside.
The light weight and extreme strength of this mug allows you to store it easily in your hiking or bug-out bag, while still being large enough to enjoy a full cup of coffee.
The handles on the mug collapse flush against the cylinder for storage, and can be folded out while in use.
The mug measures 3.25 inches tall, and 3 inches in diameter. Similar in size to a standard coffee cup. The weight is 97 grams.
As with all Ninja Prepper products, we stand behind the Mizu mug and will replace it if it ever fails you.

First off, at 10.2 oz. (300 ml) this cup is a bit small compared to most coffee mugs available nowadays. If you want to avoid spilling your coffee and/or need room for creamer you're only going to be able to fill it to 8 oz. or so. Also, it can be a little tight getting your hand inside to wash it.
That being said, small has it's advantages of course especially if you're an ultralight backpacker. Weighing in at 2.4 oz. (69g) it's nearly half the weight of the Snow Peak 450 double walled cup which weighs 4.2 oz. (118g). The diameter & height is about 3/8" shorter as well. I can fit the Mizu down into my Snow Peak No. 1 Kettle if placed on its side.
Even though it's not vacuum insulated the double walls keep the liquid inside hot much longer than a single wall cup or ceramic mug. I'm able to hold the cup without burning my hands even with boiling water inside. The handles meet up symmetrically, fold down and stay flush when not in use. If you don't like a handled cup I find that this mug is still comfortable to hold with the handles folded in, they actually give the cup some grip. Although I have not tried it the handles look removable if desired leaving just the brackets but again, they would provide a little grip otherwise just hold the cup from the opposite side.
The finish is excellent and there's no sloppy welds or seams etc. The bottom lies perfectly flat and the rim is comfortable on the lips. There's no bag or case included but the box that it comes in would be adequate protection when packed away.
I find it a bit odd that I could not find where the cup is made in the description, the company's website or the product packaging. They do state that they're a family run business based in Seattle, WA.
Pros:
-High quality titanium
-Light weight & compact
-Double wall construction
-Designed, assembled & packaged in U.S.A.
-Competitively priced
Cons:
-A bit small
-Not vacuum insulated
-No compatible lid
-Country of manufacture & origin of material unclear

This cup seems to be really well made for the price! I used it backpacking and drank some hot chocolate from it, and the insulated walls worked so well that I couldn't use the cup to warm my hands. No worries about not being able to hold it or have my lips burned. My partner was using her non-insulated Snow Peak and it was blazing hot. Much cheaper than the Snow Peak mugs and seem to be the same quality. My partner was definitely impressed with my mug after using her Snow Peak, and I am too.
I highly recommend this mug!

UPDATE: I've loved this mug on the trail, but I've been using it even more off the trail. It's now my go-to mug in my kitchen at home because it's just the right size and keeps things hot!
This mug is excellent and the company that makes it has great customer service. They were quick to reply when I emailed them a question about the mug. The mug is the perfect size for a cup of coffee. It's a bit smaller than most of the large ceramic mugs in my kitchen, which I appreciate for the sake of packing. I also don't need a giant mug full of coffee when I'm backpacking or camping. A normal portion does just fine, since I'm usually eager to get back on the trail. Overall, the quality seems great, the mug keeps things hot, it's light and the company seems awesome. I highly recommend this mug!
Quality and performance in a "just right" size

Great little mug! After using my Snow Peak single wall mug for years, burning my lips and coffee going cold very quickly, this Mizu is a major improvement. It keeps coffee hot and the exterior stays cool enough that silicone "hot lips" aren't necessary. I find the size perfect and am searching for a suitably sized lid for the really cold days.
FYI, an Evernew Ti Alcohol stove nests perfectly with just enough clearance to get the stove in and out. It's like they were made for each other. The stove nests in the mug, the mug nests in my Snow Peak titanium single wall mug/pot, with room on the sides for Ti pot stand and slim utensils, etc.
Improved my travel cook kit yet another step!
I want all their STUFF!!

The Mizu arrived on time in sturdy packaging. I washed it and then made some coffee... Poured it in said cup... And the coffee tasted like the coffee, not the cup. It has become my regular coffee cup because...... I like it...... If I have any regret, it's that I didn't order the larger cup, too. I'll solve that, though, I'm going to order all their stuff because it is great quality and an American company.... Now, I can sit back in my chair made in Pakistan, prop my Chinese-made-slipper covered feet up on my Vietnamese table, watch my Korean television and sip my Columbian coffee out of a quality made American titanium cup with a Japanese name. One day when all the rest is just mass in a sanitary landfill..... I'll still have that titanium mug.... Well, maybe by then.... The big one, too.
Worth every penny!!

I bought this cup thinking it may be to small. I was mistaken. It actually keeps my coffee hot for both cups. Excellent quality piece of gear. Its my daily cup for drinking coffee, as well as my off-road trail buddy. If you are looking for a pot to cook on I would say look at their "fury" model. I use a Jetboil to cook so this cup is strictly for coffee and, it does that well. If you love Quality Ti products at NOT snow peak prices, check these guys out.

I'm using this mug for the first time in my kitchen as a test run. I boiled a pot of water to test the insulation factor and I'm extremely pleased to see that the cup is warm to touch only, which means it can be used with or without the handles. The next factor was the ability to drink the water without getting burned. Again, I was pleased that I didn't need a rubber lip guard and was able to drink without problems. This is possible due to the "double-wall insulated titanium alloy construction" and it performed as advertised. I'm going on a week long backpacking trip and I'm excited to have a solid, lightweight mug that will suit my needs. The only recommendation would a 1 cup mark for measuring. At 300ml this can hold just over 1 cup, which will be nice for the morning cup of coffee, but not for measuring out water for dehydrated foods. Otherwise, this is going to be a nice replacement to my older plastic mug.
Mizu, the Insulated Titanium Mug
Well Made Double Walled Titanium Mug

Just used this on a recent backpacking trip. I purchased this because single walled titanium mugs get very hot with hot liquids, like coffee or soup. Likewise, whatever is inside cools too quickly. I have another double walled titanium mug but it is full of dents over years of use.
This product is exactly what I was looking for. It is a great size, nests in my 400mL cooking pot, and most importantly, feels way more solid than other mugs. I highly doubt I will be introducing any dents into this one. The finish is smooth and it came with a sweet sticker.
It would be great if this came with a lid like some other mugs, but it isn't a deal breaker for me.
Well built.

Nice little cup. It keeps hot stuff hot without the outside becoming unbearably hot. Well built. I expext to have it a long time.
Update I used this on a 7 day trip camping from back the back of my quad. I love this cup. Yes it's a bit smaller than a "normal" one but still love it. It keeps coffee hot.
Perfect size and weight for field coffee cup.

This is a perfectly sized coffee cup that fits inside my West German Mess Kit main pot. Being titanium, it is extremely light which is important to me when back packing. It is also double walled which helps alleviate the burned lips when trying to sip hot coffee. The handles collapse and appear to be well connected to the cup. This looks and feels like a quality piece of gear.
