Finally got to use this product after buying in the fall in preparation for winter. It comes with a little carrying case and a few other bits. Magnets on the outside border and a portion that fits inside the car, suction cupping to the windshield to keep the wind from carrying it off. The magnets are strong enough, but my initial problem with it is that it doesn't fully cover my car, a 2012 Subaru Outback, so it balloons a bit on the sides near the hood. The material itself is more thin than I originally thought too. Anyways, I put it on before the snow starts falling, and the next day I get up to find it covered in snow (pictures included) with a nice layer of ice on top. I have to uncover the ice and layer of snow on top of it because it's the heavy, wet kind and I didn't want the material to rip. Underneath, it was clear!!! No need to scrape like the rest of my car! It worked just like it should. This is the only time I've used it, so will update in the future if any problems are found.

I bought this product to protect my Toyota RAV 4. It ruined my car on the inside!

The flaps that you close into each front door caused the gasket seals to leak in rainy weather.

My car got all moldy on the inside - rain leaked, wicked into the two front doors. What a bummer! And I was trying to do something nice for my car.

Spent hours trying to get rid of mold. Now it smells bad.

I really wanted to like this windshield cover, but it is terrible. The magnets vary in strength, which results in a cover that lifts every time the wind blows (obviously a bad idea in snowstorms or icestorms). The littlest wind would lift the cover and blow snow under it. (These are not large gusts of wind, we're talking under 5mph winds here). The bag it comes in is nice, and the emergency blanket and microfiber cloth work quite well. If you want something that will keep the sun out or pollen off your windshield, then this is for you! If you are looking to keep snow and ice from collecting on your windshield, look for a different product.

1. It is terrific!!! I bought 3 for Mazda , Honda, Kia! All fits well!
2. Beyond my expectations, it comes with an emergency pack. Actually, you can use them as regular windshield. No problem!
3. The most amazing thing is the cover not only covers the windshield, but also covers windows on left and right sides!! All cars are protected on a snowy day.
4. The cups work fine.

The item is made from a very light weight material. I have a Ford Ranger and the item is made to fit small SUVs and crossovers. It was a little too large for this truck. However, you can compensate for this by placing the cover further up on the roof of the vehicle. There are three magnets at the top of the cover and five at the bottom. They will adhere securely to the vehicle. The wide flaps on each end will fit around and inside the door. There is a suction cup on each flap which will securely stick to the inside of the windshield. I used this cover during a 22 inch blizzard here in South Jersey last Jan 23rd. It held securely and kept my windshield. dry. It can be a little hard to install if your windshield is smaller than what it was designed to cover. As was the case with my Ranger. You just have to adjust it a few times to get it evenly distributed across the windshield. It is easily folded when dry and can be returned to the plastic pouch with no problem. All in all it is a good product for the money. I had a problem with my magnets sticking to my hood, and I emailed the company. The woman answered me within 24 hrs. with the solution. She was very polite and eager to please. Upon receipt of the product you receive an email with the company's email address. They state that they will respond within 24 hrs. I found this to be so.

We checked the size of the car windshield prior to purchasing it. We have Mercedes GLC (about the same size as CRV or Rav 4). There are quite a few things which are missing at the time of purchase--If the car has pan moon roof then there is no place for the magnets to stick. Thats a big thing. Secondly if you have alloy wheels there is no way these hooks will fit perfectly. The alloy wheel spokes should be arranged in a particular manner for the hooks to fit. And even after aligning the wheels the cover still does not fit. The magnets are pretty small and flimsy. They get easily blown away with the wind gusts in MA. Have used it for over a month prior to giving this feedback. May be useful where snow is barely few inches. Not for places like MA, NH etc. And for one person to manage the cover--its a chore. Better to scrape than manage this cover.

Too lightweight, no matter how secure you think you have this, wind will blow it off

The very first NYC Snow storm of 2018, I could not wait to try this cover. Well as you can tell from my pictures, it was a big, huge disappointment. When I opened the package and took the cover out, I felt that it was a bit of light weight material. I also struggled to find the built in magnets, which are too small and they should have used earth magnets. I followed the instructions and placed this very securely on my vehicle. What I find surprising is that this there is side flaps with suction cups that are placed on the inside windshield, then you close & lock your doors normally. With the material being so lightweight, I seen the cover blown onto my the hood, I would have thought that the cover being partially placed inside the vehicle would have prevented slippage. I can say I cannot recommenced this product. I believe I am better off purchasing a very heavy duty tarp and earth magnets for the roof.

This improved version of the SnowOFF cover is well done.

Covers over blades, sprayers and stays put even through the recent winter blizzard (with the suction cups that hold it from inside and the hooks cables that strap to the wheels)

Came off easily with no sticking.

I would suggest removing some of the snow off the roof of the car near the windshield, especially if you have a foot of snow, as it will fall onto your windshield.

i have a 2005 toyota corolla. if your car has an antenna in the center of the back of your roof, do NOT buy one of these for the REAR window of your car, as it will not fit flush against your window, and snow will get underneath the cover, despite the magnets.

the covers themself are much thinner than they appear in the photo, but did work in the last snowstorm that we had. we got about 5.5 inches of snow, and in order to remove the covers from my front windshield, i still had to brush the snow off the cover before peeling it off. but the cover kept my windshield from being coated in ice and frost.

the straps with the hooks that are supposed to prevent the covers from blowing off in the wind would not stay hooked to my car's wheels/hubcaps, but since the covers are literally suction cupped to the inside of your windshield, and shut into your car doors, i can't imagine them blowing away. i made sure to put the covers on my car before the snow began to ensure that wetness/snow did not get between the cover and my windshield (i read horror stories online of other models getting stuck/frozen to your windshield that way.

time will tell how many new england snowstorms these will last through, but they do fold up nicely and easily into the nylon zippered storage pouches that come with the covers.
