And its a good product to boot
by Loyd H. (5 out of 5 stars)

Yes it a tad heavy but you know you want it! Ingress!!!!

And its a good product to boot. Long as you use a good cable (needed for any fast charge) it charges very quickly.

Does exactly what it says and lights up green! (and also blue if that's your thing I guess)

It was a dark and stormy night. He had been ingressing for hours when word reached him - the enemy was en route. A quick glance at his power level and a moment of panic set in. He was woefully unprepared for battle. But then he remembered - he is a spoiled man and his wife had gifted him a Cheero. He pulled the battery from his bag of holding and connected it to his phone. He was comforted by the light show from the battery. It acknowledged the transfer of power, calming the anxiety that had been suffocating only moments before. He was confident as he returned to the battlefield, waging war against the enemy and saving the innocents who were blissfully unaware of the combat that surrounded them. Their unknowing minds were protected for another day, thanks to the power of the Cheero.

Great cool looking Power Bank, but...
by Adra (4 out of 5 stars)
April 13, 2016

This is one of the coolest Power bank i have seen/owned.

Now for the full review:

First what I don't like about it.
1- Is quite bulky for a 12000 maH power bank.
2- The back is quite a fingerprint magnet and quite slippery.
3- The clear cover on top where the leds are gets scratched SUPER easy.
4- No pass through charge so you can't charge your phone and this power bank at the same time.
5- Only 2 USB outs, one of which is only a 1 amp and the second is 2.1 amp.
6- Charging this power bank from 0 to 100 takes almost if not all day.

What I do like about it:
1- Super cool LED lights, definitely a plus in the cool factor.
2- When using the 2.1 Amp port, it can charge my Note 5 from 0 to 100 in about 2 hours. not bad at all.
3- I can charge my phone at least 3 times no problems.
4- The provided cable is actually really good quality, better than my stock Samsung cable which crapped out on me shortly after getting this.

Yes, the USB cable provided with this power bank used together with Samsung Adaptive Charger will fast charge your Samsung. I have other USB cables that while look nice, they don't charge the phone as fast as this one. Goes to show that not every USB cable is made the same way.
5- The box in which it came in is super nice, very nice presentation from cheero.
6- The cost of this is actually not that bad, I got mine for $30, you just got to wait for it drop in price and cop one of these bad boys.

Now I know that I have the same amount of pros/cons but most of the cons are not a deal breaker. This is something that due it's function, most of these cons is me nitpicking but It still cost this review one star. If you are on the fence whether or not you should get this...

My answer is No.

Let me explain why.

This is one of those novelty products that you buy solely for the cool factor despite it's function. You can get better and bigger power banks for the same if not less than this item. If you got the extra cash to spend, then sure get this, it's a nice novelty item. But reality is, the led light show is only cool until the honeymoon phase is over then you'll just use this for what it was intended for, charging/powering devices.

Indiana Jones would be envious
by Captain Kirk (4 out of 5 stars)
December 25, 2016

Ingress is the bomb. Gave it a four because I was just too hyped before I got it and thus had higher expectations. But expectations were for the most pretty good. I charged the cube out of the box and didn't take to long to get it to full power. The cube when turned on to maximum looks like a relic jewel from the Indiana Jones movie. I charged my wife 's I phone and mine.Still had 3 bars of power out of four left on the power meter located at the bottom of the cube..

The only draw back I can see is that sometimes it act's a little weird when you try to turn it on. Maybe I'll try holding the button and waiting a few seconds. what happens is when you press the power button you have to keep hitting it a certain way to get the cube to come on. I'll keep trying since it is my first day with it and get back to you on this issue. The company seems pretty good by delivering the package on time. That in itself says a ton. Again,I'll keep playing with it and let everyone know of problems or no problems down the road. But I'll give it a solid 4 star rating as of today....Great product, Cheero.......Merry Christmas to all........

Cool but the housing may crack at the seam.
by Hollie G (4 out of 5 stars)
June 21, 2016

I bought this for my son's second Anomaly. It worked great. He loves the LED lights and they dont drain the battery much while in use. After having this for some time and useing it alot the casing did break at the seam but I think we can glue it back together with a little gorilla glue. I knew from other reviewsthis might happen It doesn't effect the function of the charger. But he doesn't want to use it again till it's fixed so the LEDS don't get messed up. It fits nicely in a iPhone 6 size arm band. This lets the light show be seen and there is less disconnecting of the cord while in use. It also came with a load out card. It did do a great job keeping the phone charged all day and night with almost constant play time. Other players also thought it was cool and he got lots of complements on it.

For The Enlightened!
by Amazon Customer (5 out of 5 stars)

I am a bit of an Ingress fanatic, which led me to finding this battery pack. I've been using it for a few months so far. I first remember seeing these with people flashing them around at Ingress events, and eventually decided to pick one up myself after I had yet another cheap charging pack die on me. A charger like this is a must have for the game. It definitely looks awesome and I haven't had any problem with the lights on mine so far. Looks aside, this is the best quality battery pack I've used and so far and it has been pretty durable, even survived being dropped a couple of times. You can even keep multiple phones alive off it for quite some time, and it is capable of fast charge. I hope it keeps going for a long time.

Four Stars
by Vernon Warren (2 out of 5 stars)
July 19, 2015

I've already did a review on this product but I clearly made a mistake in doing so without really fully testing this device. After fully charging the device I noticed that I was only able to charge my note edge from 0 to 100% 2 and a half times. Which is clearly disappointing . This is suppose to be a 12,000 mah battery charger and my phone is only 3,000 mah. I should have gotten 4 full charges out of this device. This company is clearly deceiving the public. Yes the lights on the device are nice but it should live up to the 12,000 mah it claims. I'm done with this company! Stay away from this company.

Dangerous Charging Problem (Warning)
by Reggie (1 out of 5 stars)
November 2, 2016

I had this item about about 6 months, It was working great and proved my be my savior as a charging device whenever i was out and about. However, one day; recently... my device was charging itself (With its own attached cable) and it began smoking from the charging port leading into the ingrate power cube. Ever since then, the box has been unable to turn on, nor charge anything I've been able to give it. To add, even the Ingress power cube, has a smell from its port, as if something was burnt. At the event of this happening, the box was very warm, on the side it was charging. I gave it two stars because I really did enjoy this product, but had to downrate because of this occurrence in only 6 months of use. I love the game of ingress too, so it was great having an identical charging bank with the same theme.

Fantastic battery bank with a good marriage of form and function.
by Travis (5 out of 5 stars)
March 4, 2016

I bought this for my friend who is a major Ingress player. We both thought the lights are really cool and the capacity keeps my friend playing long into the night. The battery pack charges fast, charges the OnePlus One as if it were plugged into the wall, and can charge his phone about 3 times. The battery bank feels solid, but he is keeping the plastic film on to keep it from getting scratched up during intense operations. The battery comes with a really nice mesh bag that offers ventilation of the battery pack and offers storage for cords and wall bricks. For 30 bucks, its hard to come up with a better deal.

Don't buy unless avid fan of fancy LED art
by SURAN JANG (4 out of 5 stars)
July 17, 2016

EDIT: This product does not have functionality issues! The reason why the LED was flickering and the charging did not work too well was because of the faulty charging cable that they provided. I personally had a spare cable for a different product which I use now, and it works perfectly. This power bank is absolutely fantastic. But still four stars because it gave me a faulty charging cable.

Quite a beautiful product, but there are definitely some functionality issues. Unless you're an avid fan of the LED art (which I consider myself as), I would recommend not to buy. I believe that the fancy lights make up for all the negative aspects about this product, but others might differ.

This battery bank is quite bulky. It's slightly bigger than my iPhone 6 and almost three times as thick. My least favorite part about this product is that the LED that indicates the battery level does not work well. After charging for about 18 hours, it still indicates that it only has 50% of its capacity (2 white LED lights instead of 4 when it is at 100%). When the Power Cube charges, the LED do not flash as it is supposed to, but it sometimes randomly flickers.

I absolutely have to say that the art is beautiful, though. Not only there is LED but there is also a shiny/sparkly surface inside the glass that glitters with the LED. The LED slowly fades on and off one by one. There is also an option to turn the background LED lights off and leave only the middle portion on.

I also love how quickly my phone charges with the 2.1A port. My iPhone 6 went from 7% to 55% in less than 45 minutes (with Airplane Mode on), which I think is pretty quick.
