Can't adjust it to be perfectly parallel to the car.

The laser is pretty bright. You can't see it during the day. I had to loosen the screw-on "lens cap" to get it to point on the ground correctly but I wrapped electrical tape around it to hold it in place and waterproof it. The laser line could be a little.... Crisper. It had a kinda red blur around it but nothing noticeable. You can't see this in the picture, but in real life you can see a red dot on the back of the car where the laser is mounted even during the day.overall, it's pretty good for the price. Definitely bright and noticeable at night. It may distract other drivers because these aren't very common. Make sure it's never pointing up and blinding someone. The only big thing is that it's hard to adjust to be lined up perfectly parallel to the car - this may bug the OCD.

Straight garbage!

SAVE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BUY!

Great concept, garbage quality. Laser light is not bright as described and will only last about 1 or 2 wks of use. I ordered 4 of these and all have stopped working. Wire and laser or horrible quality. STAY AWAY!!

The bracket you need to assemble is asinine. The screws are too small to handle yet too large for the holes so you cant put it together! It's like Chinese water torture. After I finally gave up on using the supplied bracket I wired it up and then it slipped from my hand - this four foot drop (the length of the supplied cable) was enough to yoke the cable from the light making it unusable.

The product is a really cool idea and is very bright in testing. It's a shame the build quality wasn't present.

Buyer beware, despite what you may read here and elsewhere that this is a "LEGAL rear fog light", it is as legal as someone putting on a purple HID bulb in their old style parabolic reflector headlamp assembly (I'm sure you've seen many of them, especially pick up trucks). The LEGAL SAE code for rear fog lights is SAE-J1319; which spells out specific installation position and luminance requirement for rear fog lamps. Nothing mentioning projecting a laser line on the road (just wait, people will abuse this and aim HIGH with these, straight into drivers eyes behind).

As for the unit itself, it is not water resistant by any means. Water will get in from the front and back of the unit. Even though the unit works, having lived in Europe and seen the effectiveness of actual rear fog lights, I doubt this weak laser line will be anything close to those simpler but more effective fog lights. There was also no installation instructions. P!us, it is ILLEGAL to wire a rear fog lights to your license plate light. You MUST have a separate switch with a yellow rear fog light symbol if you are to be code compliant.
