The look and sounds are amazing. Pretty good quality for an extendable light saber. I like the on/off volume control switch along with the button. they put a lot of detail into the design and the sounds. Also comes with the attachments to build on, which I wasn't expecting, but also won't complain about.

Listen like Saber is pretty awesome. I've gotten my son a couple cheap ones in the past so I didn't want to do that again but I also didn't want to go over and spend a ton of money. Look and feel to it is nice and it is sturdy. It will take some pretty rough treatment to damage for break this thing. The sound effects are pretty cool and are in sync to the movement while you are using it. It looks really great in the dark as well. My five-year-old son is having a blast and will sit there and practice his moves forever and I want to say it actually looks pretty neat now that he's getting good at it. This is a great middle of the lineproduct as far as quality and price. I feel like I made the right choice and would buy it again if I had the option.

The Star Wars The Force Awakens Kylo Ren Deluxe Bladebuilders Light saber is worth every penny. I was skeptical at first to purchase a "sword" that expensive, but this toy has given my son hours of imaginative play. The pieces come apart and can be put back in different arrangements. Its like a building toy and a light saber all in one. The saber lights up brightly and makes cool light saber sounds when used. It has an on/off switch so you can also disable the sound! The different pieces can move around with a simple twist and lock/unlock motion. Buying additional bladebuilders makes this toy even more fun. I absolutely love the creative play it encourages with my son. He's really using his brain/imagination when playing to design unique light sabers. I HIGHLY recommend this toy for any star wars fan!! two thumbs up!

Solid toy, great sound effects. It can take a beating and still works. The lights flicker and crackle when the blade is hit. It detects motion and makes the appropriate sounds when you move it around. Dad enjoys playing with it as much as son does.

Hours and hours of fun with the kiddo. He loves Star Wars. I love Star Wars. Where could you go wrong paying to have a light saber duel daily? Batteries were included. Lights and sounds are loud and vibrant. It loses 1 star due to its susceptibility to being bent and broken which could be avoided if they made it just a bit thicker plastic... Nothings perfect though

Best lightsaber in collection

This light saber is our coolest in our child's collection. We have several but this one lights up and makes sounds based on your actions. It adds an excellent experience to hear the hum of the light saber and when you hit something it makes the classic light saber sound.

The only drawback is it has 3 sections of the "blade" and only 2 of them collapse so there is no ability to fully collapse the saber and the two side spikes also do not contract.

Great sound effects! My 4 yr old can't get enough. It extends with a wrist flick and goes back in if you push the end. Sound effects change as you "fight" with it. We love the lights and that the extra part can be used as a separate dagger or as an add-on to the big light saber. It has been everywhere with us for the first few days we have had it, just for fun. Seems sturdy and love that it comes with batteries installed. Fun to play with in the light or dark. Want to get another with the lights and sounds in a different color!

I bought this light saber as a birthday present for my 9 year old nephew. I was a little nervous thinking it may be a bit juvenile for him, but when he opened it up and all his friends got excited about it, I knew we had made the right choice. Decent quality for an extendable light saber and I like that it has an actual on/off switch as well as the button that initiates the lights and noise.

Showed up not working, so will be returning. I went with this one because it looked the same as the $25 version (lights, sounds, blade builders compatible, etc.) but have to return it and order the $25 version now.

I was very disappointed in this product. It came with the light to the main sword already out. Then we had it for literally 2 days and it busted. You should make a toy light saber that is meant to be played with a little stronger. I was really bummed for my son because this was the main thing he wanted for Christmas so it was really disappointing that it came broken and the so easily busted further.
