The lid squeezes in really tight. Not sure if that's the point, to keep you out of the cookie jar. I see the lid slipping and breaking accidently in the future.

Item arrived broken. If it had been intact- very cute and nice size. Packaged was NOT labeled as fragile. Should have been packaged and labeled properly to avoid this situation. :( Replacement requested.

Replacement item received- intact and packaged more properly this time. As I said before, the cookie jar is adorable. I removed the seal from the lid in order for the lid to fit better. Overall, I am pleased with the cookie jar.
