Product Description

Curvit® original is SOLD OUT and OUT OF STOCK. For replacement parts, see http://curvi.co Curvit® is a unique set of 12 rings & arches that curve your curtain away. It's stylish, simple and discreet. Works with any standard shower curtain or liner, or both. Why bother with a curved shower curtain rod? Curvit® has shiny steel rings that fit any standard straight 1" shower rod. And it works on the inside: holds your shower curtain from blowing in. Add any outer decorative curtain. Keep your bathroom style. For best results, use Curvit® with a standard 72-inch length, thin or medium weight shower curtain, between 5 and 8-gauge, and normal 1-inch tube shower rod. Curvit® is not recommended for short or heavy curtains. Your curtain will lift, but only a bit. Curvit® hangs your curtain from a higher point, about 2-3-inch, so a 70-inch short shower curtain is not recommended. It might not leave enough fabric at the bottom to stay in the tub. Thankfully, most standard curtains are 72-inch long. So we designed for that length. Also, be sure your shower rod is at a standard height. Every home is different. No Tools. No Leaks. With Curvit®, your shower curtain stays snug inside your tub and wall. The 12 arches apply a subtle, soft curving pressure to the mid-section ... like an invisible valet holding your curtain away. So Curvit® gently delivers a rounded shower curtain effect in the middle. So why bother installing a bowed shower rod? It's hardware for a handyman. Besides, curved rods can sag downward as they lose grip or if the bolts aren't perfectly aligned -- which leads to curtain gaps and messy leaks. Not with Curvit®. Push back against curtain cling and block messy leaks.

Broke after only two months
by A. Bolduan (3 out of 5 stars)

I've only had this for two months, but have had to throw it away. Each blue stick connects to another to make a V shape. After about a month one stick broke which made the whole V not work right. Now both sticks in that V broke. So I gave up and just bought a curved curtain rod that installs with pressure only, which is more than twice the cost. I wish I had just done that sooner, because that's what I was going for in the first place.

It helps!

I like what this product does for my shower curtain. It used to bunch up, cling to the sides, or randomly blow into me now, but now it's more like a solid wall of a curtain. This product lifts the shower curtain up a bit and brings the top in a slight bit, but then there are plastic rods that push the middle of the shower curtain out a good distance. I think the middle being pushed out gives you more room than the amount you lose with the top coming in some. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with the shower/tub combo going on.

had to keep outer curtain on seperate hooks but worked great

easy enough to install. I have had trouble with my curtains blowing in. I have a standing shower, since I don't have a tub and can't move the shower rod I ended up installing these hooks on the inner shower curtain and hanging my outer curtain on the original hangers. Works great gave me much more space. I hate shower doors and have a small bathroom so this worked perfect.

So much more room !
by Cooking Fool (5 out of 5 stars)

There really, really is a lot more room to move around in the shower now that I've installed Curvits. Watching the videos on installation helped a lot, especially with the little clips. Knowing that they only clip onto one part of the V made by two ribs coming together made all the difference. Our shower curtain is a 10-gauge vinyl one, which is pretty heavy, but the Curvits support the weight and slide along the curtain rod as easily as the old rings did, and the ends of the curtain nest up against the sides of the shower to eliminate splashes outside.

Not worth it

I first saw this a long while back and was sold from the idea and got it remembering all the claims it had. It doesn't stand up to them at all. One part came broken out of the box. Still my bathroom is small enough that didn't make much difference. The liner is lifted significantly higher with this installed which made leaking out of the tub easy. It also does not fully stop the cling that it claims it does do it less but only because these push back halfway up the liner. Save yourself money and just get a thicker liner it works better

Wow - Space really IS the final frontier!

I was a bit skeptical about these, but quite surprised once I was actually in the shower. Keep in mind... They do cause the curtain to come inward near the top of the shower, which I was expecting not really thrilled about. If you're 6'3" or taller, this MIGHT be an issue - I don't know. I'm 6' and found that I never even noticed it.

After reading some of these reviews, I was concerned about breakage, but I don't know why people are complaining. What are you doing with them? These are not monkey bars. Keep that in mind and I think you'll be fine.

Installation was simple, although it does take a few minutes to get the 'optional' pieces in place to hold the curtain firmly to the hooks. At first, this didn't make sense to me, but the system works better with these in place - I definitely recommend using the 'optional' pieces.

The product itself is great and works as described

The product itself is great and works as described. However, the clips provided that are used to secure the curtain extremely stiff (I actually cut myself with one while trying to press clip it on) and nearly impossible to use. Oddly enough, they end up falling off very easily.

Edit: One of the blue plastic rods broke less than 2 months after buying this.

Works Perfect

We've had the Curvit Rings for about two weeks now, and so far everything has been fine. We actually got these because the curved curtain rods we were looking at to fix the "shower curtain attack" were expensive and had horrible reviews. We obviously opted for the cheaper rescue, and they're working perfectly.

5 star customer service!!!

I bought a set of the shower curtain rings, one of them unfortunately arrived broken. The owner had e-mailed me previous to the products arrival, thanking me for my purchase and offering bonus tips for installation. I e-mailed him that afternoon (on a Sunday no less) and he responded to my e-mail within 5-10 minutes and is sending me a new one no questions asked, free of charge. You don't find that level of customer service this day in age! I was able to put the rings up anyway minus the ends and it works perfectly. Curvit - Simple Curved Shower Rod Alternative. All in all - I feel like it does add *some* room to the shower in ...
by Will013 (3 out of 5 stars)

I've been using this item for a couple of weeks now.

As a 6'4 guy - shower space is never enough.

Installation on my shower took about 10 minutes - nothing too complicated. I did have an organizer hooked to my shower hooks previously - am no longer able to use this inside the shower as I was previously - something to consider.

All in all - I feel like it does add *some* room to the shower in the form of elbow room. It's a decent alternative if you don't feel like or can't replace your rod with a curved one.

However, two weeks in - and one of my pieces has already broken in half. The plastic is very thing and I have been careful when sliding shower open/closed - so have serious doubts on the durability of this. All in all - for the price - it's a decent way to add some quick space.
