Truly Incredible. The Best By Far. 10/10 Performance.by Big Kev (5 out of 5 stars)

As someone who recently decided to start playing fighting games on a tournament level, I wanted a quality fight stick. One that was not only durable, but comfortable. I looked online and found that this one was the best fit for just that. Upon getting the package I realized this fight stick was much better than I had first anticipated. The buttons were hitting at lightning speed. Crystal clear reaction from controller to screen. No delay or lag whatsoever. This is by far top tier quality and possibly the best fight stick available. I more than recommend this to anyone who is looking to play fighting games professionally or that just want quality performance during gameplay. 10/10
Worth it. Great fight stick.

I agonized over this stick or the competing hori, after a long time poring over forums I went with the mad catz and am definitely satisfied. The the buttons were a major distinction people made and I agree the stick mad catz are great. They feel like the majority of arcade cab buttons I've used.
I don't have any experience with the hori but will comment to a few things no one has mentioned on the mad catz.
The hinges where it comes open are all metal and seem they will last a long time. The button/latch where it comes open is plastic and very thick. While you have to use two hands to open it, it does lock up very well with no wiggle .
The ball does have a small seam running radially around the center of the ball (think the equator of the earth), it is not really noticeable to me, but some may not like it.
I didn't have the rainbow oil under my plastic faceplate but it does slide around about 1mm just enough that it moves slightly.
The bottom foam is fairly thin and could be scratched up easily if you aren't careful. It should last a while though and is very comfortable on my lap.
The blue side panels are easily removed if you want to change the color. They're available from mad catz but other colors are out of stock. But when the time comes they come out with a couple screws very easily.
I wanted a sturdy stick that felt like a quality device and this thing has the heft that I would have hoped and isn't rattly at all. I ended up going with this one for concern about how large my hands are and this one has enough room. Since I plan on changing out the artwork the plastic "glass" isn't a big deal to me but I think that's the only drawback but it is cheaply and easily replaced.
and today is the 7th so thats pretty good. The packaging is well done

My Madcatz TE2 Arcade stick just arrived and i ordered it 4 days ago, arrival time said 8-7-15 to 8-11-15, and today is the 7th so thats pretty good. The packaging is well done, its pretty much like your opening another ps4 box, but instead its just the arcade stick. I love this Arcade stick and knowing that i can mod it but, i give it 4 stars because the glass top layer that goes over the picture on the arcade stick has some Rainbow colored film and its not any liquid or anything its like a new screen protector you put on your phone screen so when you push on it the rainbow look moves around. But it is hard to notice if your not the one holding it, If its not in your lap you cant see it. I think once you do your own modding to it that will change. As of durability it seems pretty heavy and nothing to loose other then the glass top, it wont come off unless i move it but it moves slightly up and down under the border. And it is hollow on the inside because of the compartment it has so for how heavy it is its pretty good.
PS4s best stick

This stick right now is the best stick on PS4. Mad Catz used what they have learned and also took some cues from it's competitors to make what I consider their best stick ever.
Let's start with the good. It is a lot easier to open this stick now. The button opens it up and you are quickly able to have access to the inside of your stick. That's right, no more having to carry around an allen wrench to open it up. Speaking of opening it up, you are now able to use this as storage also. It comes with a tool and you are able to store extra parts in their as needed, there is even room to put a game in their. They got these design cues from Razer, but I feel that they made it better with the extra room they have in there and with the compartment of the cord. Customization, looks like it was a big focus with Mad Catz with this stick and they made sure that anyone could join in the fun for a cheap price with this stick. Panel are is easily added into this stick, all you need to do is print out a pictures, you are also able to switch out side panels to the color of your choice. This with the addition to the easy opening of the stick makes this easier and faster than ever before. A nice touch is also the ability to switch between PS3 and PS4 which also means you can use this stick on the PC. Very nice touch meaning that you can get this stick for your PS4 and still use it on your PS3 because the fighting game library is bigger and you can take it places and not worry as much about being limited.
We can go to the bad now. The top plexy that goes over the art kind of moves a little bit. Could be annoying because other sticks didn't have that and people might not like that. The cord to plug into the console isn't as long as Razers. The Razer Atrox has a better hinge opening design and is easier to open because it has a hydraulic arm inside. Lastly the bottom of the stick doesn't have a honeycomb floor so it's a little harder to secure extra PCBs. None of them are deal breakers but I mention because the chief rival of the stick has it.
All in all this is a wonderful stick with a lot of great features with an excellent design. It's a premium stick and if you can afford it I would definitely pick this one up.

I can not comment on the game play as i got this as a gift for a friend, and i do not follow fight sticks that well but i can comment on quality and delivery. The friend i bought it for has commented that it has really good responsiveness more so than his last one, he won 3 separate video game tournament in 3 days. everything was boxed well, the plastic was was connected , and the inner compartment was shockingly roomy
Highly Recommended

Fantastic update to the Madcatz TE line of sticks. I got a used stick from Warehouse Deals and still didn't have any issues with it... It's nice and heavy, the bottom has a nice large foam pad that won't slip, USB is detachable. It also looks really nice, and modding the buttons/stick AND the artwork is so much easier now which is a huge plus for me!
I bought one of these and one of the Rivals edition and I couldn't be happier with both of them. Looks great and plays great! Don't get a lot of the negative review whatsoever, unless there was just a bad batch initially shipped out or something. The stick feels just as good as a TE1, except improved in almost every way. The stick feels heavy duty and does not feel cheap at all.
Also a great feature of this stick is it's now much easier to install LED lighting, as easy as plug n play now. I have an LED PCB coming from Madcatz and some translucent buttons coming from elsewhere.
Here are my only minor gripes:
*That rainbow sheen. If you remove the plexiglass and wipe down the artwork and both sides of the plexi it WILL mostly go away, however. I think it may be from a thin film of grease from the plexi production.
*It would be nice to have a touchpad, some functions rely on this -- for instance, you don't have a start and select button if you're streaming fighting games from PSNow so it requires controlling switching

Strong product, very well built for the most part. I like the ease of lift top to store and fix anything and then ability to customize the buttons.
The top seems to not be consistently see less, and it is taking a little used to getting used to the flat top design. That being a personal issue.
Makes playing fighting games much more comfortable and competitive for serious players. Definitely a

I ordered this fightstick for my boyfriend after accidentally murdering his old TE fightstick. He seems to enjoy it and is much happier with the quality. I ordered it because it is supposed to be very easy to mod or work on. He demonstrated by popping the "hood" and rummaging about. It feels a lot heavier and larger than other fight sticks that I have held which is a good thing as he is a big guy who is kind of hard on his hardware. The buttons sound very clicky/snappy and I am certain that he enjoys the feedback. I am also certain I will hear the clicky noises in my dreams before long. My boyfriend also enjoys the fact that the buttons are not crowded together and are at a much more comfortable placement than usual templates.
Though I have not done it yet, I plan on trying to mod the faceplate a little bit as I heard it was fairly easy to do and the faceplate is kind of boring to look at. The cord is very long which is necessary for us since our system is so far away and he has not noticed any input lag. Especially coming from a wireless controller, he is very happy with the stick. With the PS4 controller, he constantly complained that playing for long periods of time hurt his fingers and cramped his hands. But he is not pulling off much more complicated combos and practicing for extensive amounts of time without getting frustrated with hand fatigue.
Overall, a happier boyfriend makes a much more happier me! Great stick!

Compare to the Razer Arcade stick. I expected a lot more. Also when I received my Arcade stick. The color on top had a rainbow effects while touching it or not touching it. I thought it was just wet from printing but after waiting a few weeks. The rainbow color effect never went away. Everything else works fine. Far right triggers doesn't work on PC just like the Razer Xbox One Version. The arcade stick doesn't open smoothly like the Razer. I would have to take two hands to open it. Also it doesn't turn on the Ps4 console. I would have to use another controller to turn on the PS4.

Things you need to know before you buy this FightStick
If you have a question comment I will try to respond as soon as I can.
Pros
-It works it does what it suppose to do.
-Really good weight to it.
-Cord is long Around 9ft I believe
-Works on ps3 and ps4
-Easy to change art makes the wet/oily look go away depending on type paper you use.
-Easy joystick and button modding without voiding warranty. example(You don't like sanwa and want to use Kuro button or w.e buttons you like as long as they are same dimensions of course. Same with joystick part.)
Cons
-The plexi glass it comes with is really cheap and it gives it almost a wet/oily look to it.(best example I can give is when you try to put new screen protector on your phone and it's not on correctly you can see like the wet marks that it needs to be re adjusted so it can go away)
-The mini tool it comes with to remove the plexi glass and side panels broke after undoing 2 screws. So get your own tool if you are going to mod this there cheap but its nice that they include it other people might have better experience with there's.
-No touch pad
Would I recommend this FightStick Yes since there is only 2 routes to go either Hori($150) or Mad Catz($199.99) (as of now 8/5/2015) I owned many Mad Catz sticks before none failed on me so I am sticking with them. They are also easy/mod friendly without voiding the warranty which is always a plus (can't mod hori sticks or else you void warranty even if one button messes up replacing it voids the warranty its the reason I go with mad catz)
Now all of them will have the wet/oily look to it since the glossy paper is under the really thin crappy plexi glass. If this does not bother you then yes by all means get the FightStick it works. But if it's going to bother you then I would suggest either getting custom art work on it or get the HORI Real Arcade Pro 4. But if looks doesn't matter so much to you the stick is great works perfectly also 2 years of warranty and you can mod it without voiding the warranty.
Took some pictures to show how the art work looks like if you replace it which for me made the wet/oily look on the plexi glass go away since its not touching the glossy/plastic original artwork.
On one picture I am folding the art work to show it's not paper but a glossy/plastic type artwork.(Note the plexi glass it comes with is around the same thickness of the original artwork which I am bending in the picture so it bends the same way like I said it's really cheap and crappy Plexi glass.
I know I repeated a lot of same things but I want to just get it the word out there. Since I almost didn't buy it since the reviews where so bad but it's honestly just little things that I guess ticked people off.
