Purchased this primarily to use on a Slide the City course. The width and length are great for the slide and the material it's made of does seems to be the same type as the tubes provided by the event. For anyone looking to use this raft for something like a giant slip 'n slide... go for it!

Besides that, yes it also makes a great pool raft. Everywhere we went people were completely in love with the look and design. Can't even remember how many times we were asked where we got it during the 2 times we had it out so far.
