I got this for my son because his android s7 is old and doesnt stay charged as long and it doesn't work. I'm so disappointed cuz his friend has one and loves it. Every time we try to charge the phone it charges for about 5 seconds then turns off it won't charge his phone.

This is super cute! My first thought was that it's much bigger than it looks, it's about the size of a large salt shaker. It charges with a standard micro-USB cable (included) - the power brick is not included. The packaging is very nice, suitable for gifting, though it had a bit of a winter theme (snowflakes), and inexplicably, the faux velvet pouch it comes with for storage is imprinted with "Happy New Year". My best guess is that this is the package for holiday gifting. It charges quickly, and works great when you're on the road and don't have an outlet handy.

Overall, I think it's a great gift, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a portable phone charger

I received this product discounted in exchange for a review--I state this disclaimer upfront because that's what I would want to know first, and I too am disturbed by the ratings inflation on Amazon for IEF reviews lately. I do not indiscriminately give 5star reviews, and they are only given for a fraction of products I try that I find are exceptional and I would buy myself at FULL price. I don't give a lot of 5 star IEF ratings, but this is going to be one of them. Yes, it's slightly more expensive than other chargers, but the cuteness factor evens it out, and also works well. The horns on the little devil light up different colors depending on the amount of the charge left in the unit. It goes from zero charge to full charge relatively quickly, and also charges up my iPhone fast (took just over an hour, from about 30%). It comes with a cute little strap for the key chain, but I don't want to scratch up the chrome-like finish, so I'll just keep it in the car to pop in my purse when needed. I could really see myself giving these things away as gifts or stocking stuffers.

This cute thing would be a great purchase just because of how it looks. It's not just a pretty face though. This girl has spunk! My husband and I both charged our samung galexy 5's to a full charge, and then our big samsung tablet to about 90%. It's small easy to transport. I received a discounted price for this item in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. I will buy more at full price as gifts.
