Product Description
Spreading cold butter has never been easier, Spread THAT! transfers your body heat onto the knife edge to give you a perfectly buttered toast for that perfectly brewed tea, go easy on your wrists and let the spreader do all the work. For breakfast spreads and more, impress your friends by cutting through ice. Spread THAT! softens butter for quicker, easier spreading by carrying warmth from the palm of your hand to the edge of the blade. Use the serrated edge to shave off fine curls of butter straight onto your toast, and then gently draw the blade over them for a smoother, more even layer of butter right out of the fridge. No waiting, no clumping – just a better slice of toast, made easy. Also great for garlic butter, jam, cheese, icing and more. At THAT! we believe that through good engineering, even the simplest of things can be made better. Our goal, our mission, our obsession is to create new tools to make life in the kitchen just a little bit easier. How do we do it? We think up new solutions to old problems, and then we throw away the ones that don't simplify. That's why so many of our products are made without batteries, wires, or moving parts: whether it's cutting-edge materials or a fresh design concept, if an innovation doesn't simplify, it just won't last. And if it doesn't last, it's not worth buying.Features

Just doesn't work. Supposedly, it uses the heat from your hand to warm the serrated end. It doesn't. I even held it for minutes, no difference. I even held the serration in my hand for a minute, and that marginally improved, but still had a hard time scraping the butter.

Maybe if you ran it under hot water for 30 seconds you could call it warm. Or just hold it in your arm pit for 5 minutes...that should do it! But it's just a thick, blunt painted chunk of metal with some squigglies along one edge. Nothing revolutionary here.
completely worthless and useless.

It is a flat, poorly shaped butter knife. It doesn't "warm" up from your body heat. It is simply an expensive, poorly shaped, butter knife. Dissapointed.
Not worth it

Nice idea but doesn't work as advertised
Disappointed in this product

Disappointed in this product. The knife did not warm up and soften the butter. It did scrape the butter off but any serrated knife would do the same thing.
Gimmick nothing else.

Doesn't work. You have to wait too long to actually get it to "heat" up and by that time whatever you're spreading has already melted. Such a gimmick.
Works well as a butter knife though
Hard to clean

Not easy to clean because of texture of metal. Did not notice that it worked better from conducting heat from your hand to the end of device.
It's no pampered chef ice cream scoop. Cut butter slightly better than a regular knife.

Didn't really work.
Good but warming part doesn't work that well.

Been using this knife for a couple of months now. The serrated part is pretty good, I can get a thin layer of cold butter but if that butter is meant for a slice of bread, say a sandwich, the it is still cold so that it doesn't spread properly. If the butter is meant for hard toast it will work. The warming part of the knife dose t seem to work as well, the butter doesn't become soft enough.
