as far as cleaning and deodorizing goes ... A+. I noticed these balls beat the hell out of my undershirts and a pair of pants. Like they physically came out looking like ...... beat up. Strands of thread here n there.......pilling.........etc. don't wash your delicates with these balls- rather maybe a splash of vinegar in with the dress clothes to wash them. but everything else: undies, undershirts, socks, non-dress pants would be fine if they were subjected to the wash-ball beatdown. : D haha

Love these little gems, still working great and I run at least 3-4 loads daily and have had them for several months. We are farmers, our clothes are filthy on a regular basis, I had no confidence that these would work for us but I have been very pleasantly surprised and now purchase them as gifts for friends.

Item is not as depicted in image on box, the Crystal Wash balls were white. Aside from being different than pictured, I tried to wash baby bibs with formula on them that were only dirty one day before washing, and they still smelled milky after being washed. Not as effective as I had hoped.

Shocking Surprised. I like to be as green as I can be, and honestly I hate spending all that money on detergent. I was hesitant to purchase these because $65 well that's a lot; however the other customer reviews had me sold. I can't believe how great these Wash Balls are....my clothes are clean. I also use Wool Balls in the dryer so I can tell you I'm Washing Green. I don't add any fragrance also being that I have very sensitive skin I don't want to get a reaction. These Balls Work....I just started using them, but I'm loving them. And that fact that you can use them for a long long time. To reactivate them just put in sunlight for the afternoon approx every 3 weeks.

Worked great at first but slowly they don't do anything but make our laundry more stinky and moldy smelling. Don't waste your money on these items as they don't do as promised. I will be demanding a refund from amazon.

Doesn't get out spots or stains. Don't feel like my clothes are clean for this reason.

This seemed to work okay but does not get the deodorant smell out of my husband's shirts. I am curious if there were more than two balls in our load(since we do tend to run larger loads) if they would work better.

As is, I am not happy with them and have missed my return window, and am stuck with an expensive product that doesn't seem to work.

My towels have been smelling for some reason. I have tried vinegar, color safe bleach and bleach and they were still having a funny smell to them. I washed them with the crystal wash balls and so much better the 1st time. 2nd time the smell was completely gone. I washed my work clothes in that were pretty dusty and came out clean. I washed a couple of shirts we have had a long time and they had a dingy build of oil in the collar. They came out perfect no more build up.
