This was described as having Pantone readout.

This has changed somewhat and now it is described as having Pantone via adobe software only. So it was useless for its intended purpose which was for Pantone readout compatible with the iPhone and mac software.

As such the gift to my wife has been sat on a desk since day1.

Product works exactly as advertised. My color blind son uses this device to match curtains, pillows and other materials where the exact shade is hard for him to discern. Very useful product for home decoration and selection of matching fabrics as well as buying coordinated clothing.

Not a bad product. Needs to be slightly more accurate. If you get this, it says it's compatible to photoshop but you need the latest OS to upload software.
