Such a great game! I see reviewers stating that the hand mechanism is on backwards - it is not backwards!!! The hand is made and oriented correctly. I will admit I thought it was wrong when I first assembled it, but then we tried it and realized that it was meant to be that way. Due to the way it is shaped, the whipped cream gets tossed in your face. It is hilarious and so much fun!

I bought this for the family for Christmas but mostly for my 5 year old grandson. Everyone loved it. My grandson howled when he saw his parents and grandparents get whipped cream on their noses. My grandson didn't want to bother with the spinner or play a "game." He wanted to twist the knobs until he got hit in the face, time after time. Then, he learned to open his mouth (like his father did) to get a wad of whipped cream right in his mouth (although usually he got it in the nose).

It's not very messy and so much fun. A big hit!!

The laugh factor alone on this game gives it 5 stars, of course the laugh is as long as you don't get the dreaded pie in the face! Game says you can play without adding whipped cream, but geez where is the fun in that? The anticipation when each player has to go for how many clicks they have to turn the dial is fun too. You think you're safe with just one click, WRONG. Lots of fun and well worth the cost in just the laughs this brings. We have so much fun playing this game

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson and very unlike me I didn't buy while they still had it in stores. Got on Amazon and found t (thank you Amazon). I paid a little more than I should have, but that was completely my fault (didn't realize it was the Tickle Me Elmo) of that year. Game is a little messy, but loads of fun.

Would be better with Redi Whip

I played this at a Christmas party with a bunch of my friends (all in late 20s) and we laughed a lot but found that the cool whip was too heavy. I recommend rediwhip in the can since it's more lightweight. We played a few rounds but ultimately decided it wasn't that great since after the first couple times. I haven't played since.

Wanted to like it, but had 3 fatal flaws

I really wanted to like this game. I had watched people playing it online, and laughing hysterically. It had 3 fatal flaws however.
1) The purple hand, shown on the box and everywhere online as a flat hand, was in fact a convex rounded raised surface that was almost impossible to keep the sponge on it. every 2 or 3 clicks, we had to re-place it on the hand.
2) The spring was woefully inadequate. There was very little jump when it actually went off. Whipped cream literally bounced off people's faces, leaving little more than a mark on them, and dropped to the table. The sponge worked ok, but was still not very surprising when it went off.
3) It broke. After no more than 15 minutes playing, the hand won't stay down anymore. Game over.

My girls and their friends love it! I have to admit, I even laughed my butt off seeing all the girls getting smacked in the face with whipped cream! And trust me, it is way more fun using the whipped cream. We tried a damp sponge, not the same. It was easy to clean as well. I did play with them, but only for a minute so I never got smacked, but it is not hard-not at all! My daughters friend loved it so much, she had her mom get one too! Even my 19yr old has fun with it. It is family fun time!

a fun occasional game for family. We enjoyed playing with our kids. We don't play often. I was kind of a fad and not much of a skill game that challenges or stimulates the mind. overall, an occasional fun game

Kids love it! Great family bonding time. We dont use the sponge that came with it has the as the hand has a slight curve in it so it doesnt stay well. we choose to use the whipped cream which makes for a sticky clean up but the laughs are all worth it!
