Not at all a good value even though it is in mint condition and I say that because of the fact that when I looked at my coin grading book it said that it was worth a lot less than what I had paid for it.

You never can go wrong with these U.S. proof sets, they always come in uncirculated mint condition. I must have about 10 different date sets, and I always buy that shiny mirrorlike finish. MY FAVORITE THANKS AGAIN JEFF

1981 U.S. Proof Set

Proof set arrived with what appears to be an aged finger print on the face of the penny in the set. Upon closer inspection appears the edges of the plastic casing was opened at some point and then glued closed. All other coins in the set are in perfect condition. The original packaging was beat up on the edges, the back was a bit crushed and the glue holding the facing of the box was broken so it just flaps open. Wasn't too concerned about the packaging but was super bummed on the condition of the penny... Unsure if I'll order from this merchant again.
