Auto feature works well; doesn't run hot.

I was a bit paranoid about keeping a relatively cheap electronic device - one which can turn itself on and off automatically - plugged into an outlet, but so far, so good. The automatic feature works perfectly (with the light turning on as the room darkens), and with the light on, it barely even gets warm.

UPDATE

I liked this light so much that I purchased a second one for a different room; so far, so good. If there's any problem, I'll update this review again.

UPDATE 2

It's been well over a month, and both lights are working just fine. I've also used the USB ports to charge stuff once or twice, and haven't had any issues.

It is perfect. Just perfect. The auto button has a softer light than the on button. The U.S. port works perfectly. It it a bit big but I was able to figure out how to use the second plug on the wall with out removing this item. Great shipping.

Amazing LED night light with 2 USB ports

This is a top quality and well made warm light night light with USB ports. The USB ports on this adapter are 5V 2A which is enough to charge 2 devices at the same time.

This LED night light when plugged in does not cover the other outlet.. which makes it easier to leave it plugged in all the time.

The night light on this is one of the best i have used .. its not to bright and easy on eyes. its also has a light sensor which makes this great as it comes on automatically at night. It has a switch on top that can be set to ON/OFF/AUTO

Great travel companion

I was looking for a nightlight to take with me when I travel to make it easier to get around in unfamiliar rooms. This fills the bill perfectly and as a bonus I can leave The charger home for my iPhone and iPad. It charges my devices as fast as the high output Apple chargers do, putting out 2 amps for each port and the nightlight makes it easy to find the ports. The nightlight is switchable between three modes; on, off and auto so it turns off when it's light out. The only complaint I have, and it's a small one, is that it's a bit bulky as a travel device. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy it again.

My visiting nephews really liked these. It allowed them to navigate their bedroom and bathroom while visiting for a week, plus they were able to plug in and charge their I-Phones and I-Pad into the light and not fight over the plug-in spaces for their stuff.!

The lights seem a little bright to me but my nephews thought they were just fine. I keep my room DARK at night.

The charging worked great with the USB cord

The light sensor worked just fine, but I was able to dedicate the nightlight on for my younger nephew and dedicate them off when they went back home. In fact one of them is in my own bedroom, switched off, and I use it for charging MY IPad.

Awesome for a bedside night light

Awesome for a bedside night light. I nurse my baby in bed so I wanted something soft that wouldn't interfere with our sleep, but light enough to see him in the middle of the night. This fits the bill!

The USB chargers are a HUGE bonus as there are only two outlets in reach of my side of the bed and one is in use for a lamp. I can charge my Kindle and phone overnight and still have the night light. I have been using it for months now and have had no issues with charging.

The auto on/off feature is also nice, and the light is a bit softer when using that than when just turning it to the 'always on' setting, which I prefer.

A must have for any bathroom or room. We had company at our house. Since they had two kids I wanted to make sure they had a light at night to the bathroom. We decided to leave the bathroom light on for them.The trouble is it was too bright and could be seen through the neighboring bedroom door. I researched night lights and found this one. I was skeptical it would actually go on and off by itself in auto mode. I figured I would have to turn it on and off every night. Not true! This light is perfect!! Auto feature a huge plus! A must have for anyone needing a little extra light. The light is enough to safely guide you to a room or bathroom at night. Would be perfect for a kids room. The two USB ports are an added bonus.

Love this gizmo so much I bought 10 as "generic" Christmas gifts for family. The light is bright, but not glaring, the charging station is attractive,yet doesn't draw attention. It leaves a full outlet free to keep the coffee pot plugged in, yet conceals that ugly plug. I like having 3 settings to choose from..I prefer turning it on manually when I set up my tablet and phone to charge, and then off again in the AM. Only flaw I see, and it's minor , is that I wish it was surge protected. Could have given it 4 stars, but I felt that would really be nitpicking.

Great little nightlight, I use it in my kitchen and it provides enough light to see where you are going.

The daylight sensor on it is very sensitive so as you approach the light it get a little dimmer but no big deal.

The USB charge outputs function as they should and are a great bonus.

Overall a good purchase for the price and I can recommend it.

May need modification to be at full brightness. Its light sensor is set too sensitive. It has a variable light output that does not start to come on until it is nearly full dark. And it can be fooled by white objects, mirrors, etc and not go to full brightness. I covered my sensor with black magic marker and it went brighter but still shuts off automatically. It does light a normal bathroom with useable soft light.
