paring was easy; volume controls work
by Ross Hostetter (4 out of 5 stars)

Here's the unboxing report on these headphones:

Everything works as promised. Wireless works; paring was easy; volume controls work; mic works fine and plenty clear for phone calling; next song and previous song controls work; on/off works; call answering works; charger works; and voice command feature works. Came charged, and was fully charged after about 5 minutes. The magnet feature is handy to clasp them around your neck and for easy storage in a bag. The off/ on voice and "battery low" voice works.

You should Know:

Blue tooth range is fine for a single room, and in the next room. Beyond that, it begins to cut out. I had no problems, however, in getting good reception all over the Gym (a single unwalled room) with my iphone tucked in my bag.

Comfort is about a 6 on a scale of 10. These are not the phones you would use if answering calls all day-- too much stuff in your ear. But for a workout, washing the dishes, a few phone calls, walking the dog etc. the comfort adequate for a product of this type.

The boxing and packaging is quite elaborate for a product in this price range. It comes in a pullout box with a silk draw ribbon, and I am actually using the box to store small items that were cluttering up my desktop. An added bonus.

As to durability and sweatproofness, no data. They apparently have a one year warranty.

I am giving this good product only 4 stars however, and want to tell the manufacturer this: "The fit is as important as the functions."

The sound quality and functionality of these earphones is radically affected by how well you can fit them into your ear. If you fit them right, the sound quality is actually quite good, balanced and enjoyable. With just a little gap in the ear canal however, everything gets tinny and distant. These buds are too bulky to just pop in your ear like wired earbuds, and without the little rubber "horns" fitted properly, they simply fall out when exercising. There is no instruction whatsoever about fitting the headset. All of the stuff for proper fitting is included-- three sizes of ear pieces, three sizes of horns, and two chord untanglers that work great for reducing chord swing in the gym; but no info about how to use them. As this was my first in-ear headset of this type I had to search the web for u-tube videos to figure out the proper position for the 'horns'. Just to let you know, the horns face toward the head, there is actually a different horn for the left ear and the right (one has a little gap for the charging portal, the other doesn't), and they are designed so that the whole she-bang-- horns and all-- fit into the inner part of the ear. The horns to face forward and lock underneath the ridge that separates the inner part of the ear from the rest of it, are rotated in, and create the necessary friction to hold the buds in place. The horns come off if you mess around too much fitting the buds in your ear, and without them this product does not work. I spent almost 2 hours on setup and learning command functions the instructions, which I think is a little long.

My suggestion to the manufacturer: spend a little bit less on the box, and use the money to put up a nice u-tube video telling us how to fit these things. It would have saved me about an hour!

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. THEY WILL JUST DIE ON YOU AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS.

I purchased this a couple of months ago for my morning run. At this point i have used them bout 6 times. Last time I used them they suddenly turned off, I immediately assume the battery dead as I have not recharged in a while, but was a bit concern due to the fact that it didn't warn me as per instructions, nor my iPhone showed a low battery status.

Anyways I hooked them to the usb cable for charging and the led light when on so I assumed that everything was fine.

Next day got up in the morning for my run, and when I try to power them on, NOTHING. They are completely dead, I try reconnecting the usb to see if the led light came on meaning that for some reading they didn't charge, NOTHING. They seem completely dead which is a shame as they sounded pretty good on those 6 runs it gave.

They weren't bad while they lasted

Good concept perhaps I just got a defective unit.

These were pretty good at first:

I have tiny ear canals. To give you an idea most ear buds would fit perfect in my ears without the rubber pieces. These did slip out of my ears from time to time. I just want to give a heads up to others like me,

I'm not a sound snob but they sounded really good to me playing from my HTC One. I loved the bluetooth idea but I had to keep my phone on the same side of my body as the mic or it would cut out. It also cut out a little while putting the phone in my pocket. I do know this is not an issue with my phone since I have used it with other bluetooth headsets.

I also loved the magnets. this let me keep it around my neck when I wasn't listening to music and have them at the ready to take a call. However it wasn't that easy because of aforementioned small ear canals. I had to kind of hold on earpiece until I could get it fixed in my ear while talking. One eared talking doesn't work well because the mic sometimes hangs in a bad spot and doesn't pick up well.

The deal breaker though is what happened after having it about a week. I ran the battery down. First of all when the battery gets low a voice tells you through the headset... repeatedly approximately every two minutes. If it only told you once or twice it might last just a little longer JMO. What did it though is after that I tried charging it overnight. When I took it off charge it immediately began telling me the battery was low again. I charged it via my computer usb port and I thought perhaps once it got a little charge it turned itself on and the computer couldn't push enough power to charge it faster than it used the charge. I turned it off and charged it again overnight... same thing so I returned it.

I am giving two stars due to the no hassle return process but for now I am going back to a wired set of ear buds. Maybe I'll try again later.

Excellent product....if you can figure out how it fits in your ear.

Love these headphones. I was looking for something to use at the gym. My new iPhone 6+ is just too big to use at the gym strapped on my arm or around my waist. My workouts involve a lot of plyometrics (jumping, skipping, hopping, etc...) so the ability to workout without my phone on my person was the #1 priority. They paired to my phone easily. The sound is great. The magnetic feature is surprisingly awesome. I did my entire workout today (jump squats, skipping rope, running, burpees) and they never fell out of my ear once.

Here's the big BUT you need to know: the headphones came with 3 different size ear inserts and 3 different sized wings and ZERO instructions for how they were supposed to even go in your ear. The wings are KEY to getting them to stay in your ear. Without the wings they would definitely fall out. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out, putting the wings on a bunch of different ways to try to make sense out of it. The only clue I had was the little tiny picture of the ear-bud actually in the model's ear on one of the amazon product photo collages. Once I figured it out, I was set. It would be great if the manufacturer actually provided some instructions to how to fit and insert into your ear.

and are easy to pair to any bluetooth-compatible device
by Richard (3 out of 5 stars)

I wear these as in-ear monitors while playing drums.

They stay in while gigging, even when sweating. They block out external noise, and are easy to pair to any bluetooth-compatible device.

One problem is the control is on the right-hand side. If you're swinging back and forth, it hits you in the face which is incredibly annoying. It also doesn't have very strong reception - with the phone in my pocket, I can block the receiver against my neck and the signal fuzzes out. This is fairly rare, so I deal with it.

The sound quality is so-so. It lacks bass, like nearly all ear-buds. The noise isolation is terrible - it's literally like a pair of sponge ear plugs: it blocks out only high-pitch, rather than simply lowering the decibels of all pitches. This means it's difficult to have a conversation with someone with the headphones in.
***UPDATE 3/31/2017***I took off a star. These have not held up well. I stopped using them about (6) months ago, which would put them at about (14) months of use. As others had described, the wiring insulation started coming apart at the ear bud, which means they're no longer water proof, and they look terrible. It looks so fragile now, I don't even use them because they'll obviously break.

Good: The battery life really is pretty great
by Carla Marr (3 out of 5 stars)

I've been using these headphones for a couple of months now - and they work ok.

Good: The battery life really is pretty great. Most days, it lasts the entire workday. The magnets work really well, and I think they look nice too.

Bad: Not the best build quality. One of the silver plastic edges fell off entirely, and now I have scotch tape holding it together. They don't stay when I'm tilting my head down.

Worst of all, when it reaches about 30% battery life (as displayed by my iphone), an audio voice chimes loudly in my ear "Battery Low" every two minutes or so. THIS IS INCREDIBLY ANNOYING! So, instead of being able to run the batteries until it's zero percent, it never stops chiming in to remind you that you have low batteries, thus becoming unusable.

Pretty cool for the price!

For the money these are good. The Sound is pretty good for what they are. You can play around with your Phone settings to find what sounds best to you. The bass is ok the sound is very clear over all. I have an iPhone 5c and these paired up really fast and easy every time. I like the music setting Classical for me it have the most range.
I have an iPhone 5c It paired up quicker than any Blue tooth speaker I have! I am happy with these so far. The instructions are great. I just hope they hold up. They seem well made but it is too soon to tell. They look like the photo. I got the Green ones. I love the magnet so they hang like a necklace around your neck. Only thing is I have weird ears. Ear buds never seem to work well for me. These feel great in my left ear but my right ear is smaller and it does not feel as good. They are really light and it is weird to not have a cord getting in the way. I LOVE IT! The little control box is out of the way I don't find it to be a problem.

Talking on the phone. I tried the microphone for a phone call and it sounded awesome. The person I called could not tell I was on a headset. Distance you can leave your phone 15Feet away from you no big problem. I did find Walls to be an issue. The sound would break up more often when walls were in the way. So going from room to room without your phone on you might not sound too good. This is not a problem for me since I like my phone on my in my pocket.

Yes some of the reviews might have been fake. I have this product and it is not fake. It did come from China. So I had to wait a little over a week. Seeing that it came from China about a week wait is not a big deal. This seller seems ok too me.

High quality sound for vocals and phone calls.
by Kj (5 out of 5 stars)

FINALLY, a set of earbuds that doesn't dampen or muffle the sound of voices. I use my earbuds frequently for when I watch a video or listen to an audiobook and find that many of these devices, for the sake of "bass boost" actually muffle voices and make it hard to understand (especially when quiet or low talking). The clarity and distinction of voices via these earbuds is exceptional! I haven't listened to enough music to know if sounds will be "tinny", but I can always switch to a headset with better music reproduction if that is noticible. I got what I wanted out of these earbuds and I'm happy with the product.

They were just a little tricky figuring out the fit with the silicone "hook" as the included directions don't mention how to attach them at all. I referred to the photo on the Amazon product website and finally got it right. They are not quite as snug as the description would have you believe, or perhaps I don't have the hang of it yet. In any case, for taking a brisk walk or using for everyday wear they are just fine. Will update my review when I have used them a little more.

Don't stay in. Not for working out.
by girlshopsalot (1 out of 5 stars)

These had such great potential but they will not stay in my ears. I think I have pretty normal ears. I tried all bud sizes and ear hooks but none worked. They fell out 4 times in a ½ hour run. Even if your sitting still they fall out if you touch the cord which is where the control is. The bluetooth connection also cut out a few times and my iPhone was close by. The sound is not good at all. I tried adjusting settings to reduce the treble but it still sounded pretty bad. If it was only the sound I would have kept them because it's pretty hard to find good sounding buds but the fact that they don't stay in just doesn't work so I am returning them.

A technological marvel
by Collin (5 out of 5 stars)

First, let's get some perspective. You're wearing a device which weighs next to nothing, and in the space of these small earbuds is a rechargeable battery, Bluetooth transceiver, USB port, control module, magnets and of course the speaker drivers, etc. Put simply, this is a technological marvel.

The fit is comfortable with the various size earpieces (I opted not to use the curved silicone ear thingies shown) and they stay in place well. Controls work great. Pairing is dead simple. Battery life is every bit what they claim. As ear buds anywhere in this price range go the sound quality is quite good Just don't expect the equivalent of high-end closed-ear headphones.

All in all, a great little set of wireless ear buds which I'd happily purchase again. If this review was helpful, please take a second to click the "yes" button below.

They Finally Fit My Apparently ****ed Up Shaped Ears!
by Vincent Mazza (5 out of 5 stars)
November 4, 2015

I love these earbuds! I have had issues with apparently differently sized, wonky, generally just screwed up ears. The earbuds that came with my Galaxy S6 Edge+ for example won't even stay in my ears if I put them in and don't move my head.

These are so perfect. The rubber earbud part is very flexible (and you get tons of sizes) and goes right in beautifully and comfortably. Then, the outer rubber wings go into just the right spot in my ear so the bass works great against my ear canal and they literally will not move. I've run outside, go to the gym, jumped, fake-moshed, everything. They do not move.

The sound quality is also pretty good! I also love that they're wireless as at the gym, I've often been caught flinging my old wired earbuds out of my ear and across the room by accident.

Everyone who has ever had an issue with earbuds should try these out.
