Bought this for my third grader. It's perfect. Def a mommy win purchase. Good quality, quick shopping.
*update* I am writing an updated review now that the school year is over. This backpack has lasted the ENTIRE year without any damage. It's still in one piece, no rips or holes. I'm shocked. This bag has been tossed, thrown down, kicked around and survived a year of school bus stops. I will be buying this brand again for next year.

This backpack is so durable that I purchased it for a 4 year old in pre-K and my son is now 6 going into first grade and it's still in excellent shape. He is about to start his third school year with it. The poor kid likes Batman better now, but this one is still practically like new! I'm surprised by the reviews that complain about it's size. It is quite large for a child. My younger son is now starting pre-k and I'm looking for a loungefly for him too!

Its kind of big for my Kindergartener but he loves it and it has plenty of room. Its really sturdy and hasnt lost its shape yet. Its unique to all the backpacks of his friends.

Originally bought this for my son for kindergarten. We both loved it! When my 45 year old sister saw a picture of it she liked it so much I had to buy it for her. She said she liked it even more in person and wears it to work at a high end clothing company in Manhattan.

I liked the size of the backpack and feel of the material on the front, it's a smooth silky material. However, I didn't like the cheaper nylon on the sides and back. Also, the straps were a little too bulky. I think this is better suited for a child or younger adult, I had to return.

I ordered this for my son, who started second grade in the fall. By far his favorite backpack, and he gets loads of compliments. I wish there were a pocket, inside or out, for pencils and small items, but I'm not complaining. This is well made and I imagine he'll be done with this Star Wars phase before the backpack gives out.
