... DeWalt power drill (with screwdriver head) to assemble this bad boy. I mounted it against my houby Valerie Carroll (5 out of 5 stars)

It took me all of 2 leisurely hours with my handy DeWalt power drill (with screwdriver head) to assemble this bad boy. I mounted it against my house, so I did not use the back pieces.
My cats took to it immediately. They love jumping from level to level and feeling the grass under their feet.
I ideally would have further weather-proofed it with another stain, but I just used it right out of the box. We'll see how long it lasts before it needs a major repair from weathering.
I studied the instructions carefully to make sure everything went together; the pieces themselves are not labelled so you have to compare them to the illustrations provided in the booklet. It came together well, and it looks lovely to boot!
Good but could be better. My cats love it and that's all that matters

I would rate this 3.5 stars. I really like it, I love the design. However, the instructions weren't clear so I just used the picture as reference and worked it out like a puzzle. I had to saw some of the interlocking studs off since I modified the design as well. I used the back panels on the front so I could make it twice as long, mounting it to the side of my house. I do not like that it didn't come with a bottom. I had to build one for it to sit on because I do not want my kitties to be in the grass with fleas. I also put a steel roof on it since I extended it. I'm also disappointed that the wood isn't as good a quality. Considering I paid nearly $500 for it (then the next day the price drops $60-70) Overall I would say I'm satisfied with my purchase. It took me only 2 hours to build, I had extra shelves since I didn't use three, so I mounted those onto my house for extra perching areas for my kitties. Also, a nice tip is to put a bird feeder about 10-15 feet away and they'll always have something to watch.
Easy to build

This came in panels. Easy to build. But I'm good with directions and a tools. I actually put next to my house. Building it with three sides. Used the extra panels to build it lounger than pictures. Put a cat door in my window Cats love it. I have to bribe them to come inside

Description says 22x23x37 and actual dimensions are 16.5x14.75x35!!!! My cats still fit in it but it is a much tighter squeeze than I anticipated!
Was a sad, and massive disappointment.

Let me start by saying my wife and i wanted this to work out SO bad for our cats. That being said, this thing was a disaster on so many levels i couldn't even understand what the designer/producer was thinking. I mean, it was a nightmare on a level where i actually believed that these people thought everyone was enough of a sucker that they could just do this with no regard or consequence, and i guess in a way, they were right.
The first thing i noticed, was MOST of the locations THEY had screwed were splitting. The wood was actually splitting so bad it was separating. It was really frustrating, but i figured some wood glue and reinforcing the framework would actually deal with that so i could get by on that major safety problem for my pets. So, i just continued to attempt to assemble it after looking over all the parts. For the record, this wood is NOT good either, its light, and extremely poor quality.
The next thing i noticed during the beginning stages of assembly was that the plastic attachments between the large pieces were flimsy and 'bowed' potentially snapping themselves off. Which, thought nerve racking could've been over looked. However, then i tried the next two pieces, then the next, then the last. None of the wood, or the plastic pieces lined up for assembly. I tried multiple combinations, and variations and nothing worked. They just did NOT meet up. I kept trying, because i really wanted this for my indoor cats, so they could enjoy the outdoors and the smells with my wife and I. At this point i started thinking to myself 'dude, this was 600 dollars, and you are basically just working with their low quality wood.'
The proverbial final straw, that actually made me incredibly sad because i am a completionist, and i could see my boys inside watching with excitement as if they knew what it was (yes this was all in my head lol) and were finally gonna get to play outside, was when i tried to get the pieces, all of them, together, and the lugs and holes didn't line up in any variation by more then half an inch. HALF A FREAKING INCH. That is not a mistake when its every combination, that is carelessness. I finally just gave in. The boxes they were delivered in (2 of 2) were so mangled and dilapidated that i spent more time trying to pack the items for return then i did trying to assemble this abomination. The saddest part (again in my head) was feeling my cats eyes on the back of my head as i packed away what could've been their freedom.
This was such a great disappointment probably because i wanted it to work so much.
The Cat House!

Nice outdoor house! Fit together nicely, but the instructions are not very clear. Had to move a few panels and reinstall in other steps because they aren't marked. All in all I would recommend this product. Took roughly an hour to assemble with a cordless screwdriver. It also helps to have 2 people for the first few steps.
The cat recommends it!

Very nice but not totally waterproof. I caulked the roof and sprayed the entire house with Thompson Water Seal. The cat stays dry and absolutely loves it. I have nice bedding inside but we haven't seen winter yet. Perfect size for our feral male.
Awesome Product from an Awesome Company

My husband and I bought this cat run and our cat adores it. The assembly instructions were mislabeled, but a quick call to the company was met with excellent customer service. A very nice young man named Jason took half an hour away from his evening with his family to talk me through the mislabeled steps.
I would highly recommend this product for both quality and customer service. Mistakes happen in every company, but the way they addressed and fixed theirs went above and beyond.

Wonderful Babysitter for Indoor Cats....we are now able to air out the house and do a few outdoor projects with our French Doors wide open. Kitt's seemed to enjoy all the fragrance and air of outside but are very happy to get back in.
Horrible - keeps breaking and I've only had it 10 days!

Very disappointed in this product. I wanted to like it, but it keeps falling apart.. and I've only had it 10 days!
A family member was going on vacation last minute and asked us to watch their 4 cats for 10 days - one is diabetic and another eats things he shouldn't, so containment was a must.
We thought this would be great as a temporary indoor enclosure for them and a summer outdoor enclosure for our 3 cats. Win-win. [Or so we thought.]
Upon arrival, everything looked okay except a small manufacturing error with the hardware cloth on the inside of one panel. I figured I could somehow fix it - it was Christmas and I didn't have any other options for these 4 cats arriving the next day.
While putting it together, the holes were pre-drilled.. but only through the first board. Had to pre-drill all second boards (before inserting screws) to prevent the dry, narrow pieces of wood on panels from splitting in half along the grain. The wooden guide pegs - that didn't line up - on the panels were another story completely. Had to actually cut two of them off the center roof section so that it would line up.
Despite the insane amount of extra time it took me to put this so-called 'easy' structure together, fix damages, etc. I had it up, it was containing the animals, etc. OK.
So, I go to feed them today, open the door and the enclosure hardware snaps off in my hand! Need I repeat that I've only owned it for 10 days? It isn't even outside yet!
I'm not sure whether I received a defective cattery or what, but there is hardly a piece on it that hasn't had issues. I'm not sure I even want to risk my cats being in it outside.. the roof might disintegrate or something.
I'd return it, but the box was damaged upon removal of parts and I don't know how I would get it back to Amazon. I'd like to return it. I expected more for the cost.
Really stressful, expense, and disappointing purchase.
