I've been looking for a whitener without using those strips that made my teeth overly sensitive n eventually got allergic too. All natural is awesome n with a lot of good reviews I figured it was worth a try. Boy am I glad I tried it. With an electric toothbrush, I put a dab of toothpaste n then sprinkled some powder over it (it comes with a little white scooper that's perfect for the job), n brush. It was weird to c my mouth filling up with gray froth lol but after that first time it didn't faze me. Finish brushing, rinse until it's gone, n my teeth felt like I just left the dentist! I happen to tell my mom n she gave it a shot too n now she uses it everyday just like I do. N my teeth is getting whiter. Simply, I will be purchasing this product again!

Whitening without the gingivitis!

I LOVED this stuff. I loved how quickly it lifted stains off my teeth without giving them that fake bleached look but more of a natural white and my mouth never felt cleaner. I did get a drop of moisture in the container but nothing happened so I got lucky. What I didn't get lucky on was losing the actual jar. It's a very small and dark container and one morning before I left for work I didn't have time to run it back to its usual spot for safe keeping so other people in the house didn't use it, and then when I got home I forgot where I put it :( Since then I haven't been able to find it even though I feel like I've searched high and low, so I might just have to buy another container. Definitely worth the money I think. A lot of whitening products will give me mild gingivitis (ex Crest 3D white toothpaste) and this did the trick without making my gums sensitive. It was also a comfort knowing I wasn't brushing my teeth with all sorts of chemicals. Definitely recommend!!

Like everyone else I was very skeptical! I saw a slight difference after one use but a huge difference after the second! The pictures shown are before ever using it and after using it twice!

Not worth the sensitivity

While it did seem to make the already white-ish spots on my teeth a little shiny-er, it made my teeth extremely sensitive without actual whitening. Charcoal is very rough and can be damaging. It was also a messy hassle in the bathroom, and I made the decision to save up for crest-whitening strips. Similar sensitivity towards the end with the strips, but with actual results. A friend of mine had similar sensitivity struggles, and I do not recommend.

Super Clean mouth Feel

This was my first time trying a powder toothpaste. I had read the reviews so I thought I would give it a shot. I use a natural (do terra) toothpaste in the morning but I like to use this at night. I haven't noticed my teeth being any whiter but I know the benefits of charcoal so I'm hoping to just keep my teeth bacteria free. I went to a dental checkup and my teeth are cavity free. (That is a miracle for me!) The flavor is different but not terrible. It actually has a minty flavor but not make out ready. So, if you use this and want to make out after I would recommend some peppermint oil after. I use it at night and them rub my gums with coconut oil.

Originally I intended to use this product everyday, twice a day for all the benefits that comes with it. However, upon my first use of this product, the taste was definitely something that I did not enjoy. As a remedy, I sprinkle this product on top of some of my Tom's toothpaste; making it much more palatable. Another change that has happened is that I do not use this item every day as I notice increased sensitivity in my gums. However, when I do use it, I feel as though my mouth feels much more clean and my teeth are a little brighter. Also, since I do not use it everyday, it lasts a lot longer. So would I buy this item again? Yes!

Makes your mouth love you again

This stuff is amazing. I hadn't tried any all natural tooth powder before, but damn am I glad I did. Since my wife and I went to using mostly all natural or homemade bath and beauty products we couldn't be happier. Her teeth are now less sensitive along with feeling fresher than whenever she used toothpaste. As for me, my teeth have been getting brighter the more I use the powder. My gums also look and feel healthier when I floss. They used to bleed a bunch whenever I would floss, but hardly any bleeding now.

Messy...yes it can be. However I just tilt my head back when brushing and have no issues outside of a daily wiping of the sink. While the powder will leave your teeth somewhat gritty after you brush them, that's nothing a quick rinse of water can't cure.

Great all natural product and I look forward to years of using this product in my mouth.

This stuff works great! First time using and it immediately turned my teeth white. I wouldn't use it for everyday use because it can be abrasive. It is a tad messy too but that's alright. I was going to rate it three stars because didn't think it could make my teeth any whiter but I just looked in the inside of my teeth, and all my staining had disappeared! The dentist was going to give me a teeth cleaning because my teeth were badly stain inside but now when I go back I believe he will be in for a big surprise! I also noticed we're I had gum disease at and gingervitis, I think it's gone and the gums are not sensitive anymore! This stuff really works! Definitely recommend!

messy but cool experience

This was fun to try. I only used it a few times because my dentist friends told me these things don't really work... but it was a fun experience. I don't know if it actually whitens teeth because I didn't use it long enough.. Its super messy so wear black when you're brushing (or be extra careful). It tasted pretty good. nice and minty :) Maybe I will start using it more often for a few weeks and then i'll leave a new review if I see any changes in the whiteness of my teef :D

Simple and Effective

Unluck other reviews, my results weren't as fast. I brush my teeth twice a day and combine toothpaste with the charcoal powder instead of water.

I've been using the charcoal powder for 3 weeks and have seen gradual whitening. It may take time more time for my teeth to obtain the, "pearly white" effect. But when it does, I will update my post.

Note: if you're wanting super fast results you might consider buying crest white strips.
