This thing is designed to work. It's not flashy. No rainbow braid, no glow, no blingy lights. Just a solid cord with good strain relief, and 90° bend to help prevent damage to your device's micro USB port. It connects solidly and soundly. My tablet has never charged so fast as it does on this cable, and even after taking minor damage to the port from the last cord, the electrical connection never glitches with the StarTech cable.

It's the perfect choice for a device you might use while it's charging. And let's face it, with replaceable batteries becoming a lost luxury, most of us end up using our 'smart' devices on cords these days.

Original charge cord protruded from the speaker. This angled plug sits flush with the speaker, which is what I needed. The wire carries sufficient current to charge the speakers' battery while the speaker is being used.

I did not need the angled plug at the other end, which obstructs the adjacent port on my usb strip. However, if I pay attention to how I arrange the plugs there, I can get around it. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

This has solved my charging problem for sure! I have a bad habit of resting my phone and attached charger against a pillow when browsing in bed, and I've bent past USB cables to the point that they get "touchy". This product's design will keep me from damaging the cable in the future, very happy with it!

Won't go back to a regular cable. 90° cables are the way to go. Allows better routing of the cable when holding the phone or anytime the cable is plugged in, keeping the cable from getting damaged so easily.

The right angle plug works great and faces the right way for my Kindle Fire. Does not face the "right" way for my Samsung tablet.... needs to face the "left" way. I'll keep looking, somebody makes one (or will)

My wife has a bad habit of resting her cellphone on her chest while on facebook or playing games and it would bend the connector going to her phone this prevents it 100% with it 90° angle it eliminates bending the cord....nice deal

Got this to hook up to a DIGOO alarm system. The cable will point down for a cleaner installation of that device. Works fine.
