Yeah, it's a water bottle bag but, I'm still pretty impressedby RobS (5 out of 5 stars)

UPDATE:
So, I wrote the review left below a few months ago and drove on with my life. I AM leaving the original review for reference though but, I do have to say that it has indeed changed drastically.
See, given that the item in question was only $11, I didn't think much of it falling apart on me or my original review. I bought it, it broke, I moved on.
Until I get an email from the manufacturer.
According to the email, not only were they refunding my money after having seen my review BUT (and this is with no snark whatsoever the good part), they had made improvements on the design and wanted to send me one of the new models to see what I thought.
Okay, 1) Wow. Just wow right there.
I mean it too because, who in the heck really bothers with that kind of thing over an $11 bag? It's not like they weren't still at 4 stars and, as mentioned in the original review below, I really didn't bother to try to get a refund.
So, I said: Okay because, frankly, that kind of conscientiousness deserves at least a few minutes to see what they did.
Sure enough, a few emails back and forth and the refund came through with lightening speed and they emailed me to make sure. I mean they were all over this thing. Again, $11 bag but they were on top of it like it was some custom designer piece.
Of course, by this point I was actually getting a little nervous on their behalf but, there was no way that I could find fault with their attention to detail. Regardless of all of this however, I was actually even more resolute in my decision to give an honest and thorough critic on the new design because, imho, that kind of thing requires nothing less than full honesty. Anything less would be an insult to the person asking the question.
So the bag came in and I pulled out the magnification glasses that I use for sewing and took a look.
Thankfully, for everyone involved, it is indeed better.
The problem with the strap seam that I mentioned in my original review has indeed been fixed. The part where it is sewn to the sleeve itself has now been fully doubled over and even feels like from the corners that I can touch that some form of unraveling adhesive has been applied.
Heck, the double over is even off center towards the bottom so that the weight of the bottle will distribute across the seam better and, on top of that, it appears that they actually french rolled the seams where the straps are sewn to each other (they've been folded twice to prevent unraveling and iirc it was originally just folded once).
Also, while I can't remember whether or not the strap was sewn to the sleeve with an X inside the box seam pattern originally, it has been now in order to further stabilize it.
So, I am tickled pink because, this is just a level of detail that.... wow. And, all of this fuss over an $11 bottle bag.
So, they were curious to know what I think and this is what I think:
I see absolutely NO reason why this bag shouldn't hold for a very long time to come and I am beyond impressed with the conscientiousness and attention to detail of the manufacturer.
I mean, yes, it was smart of them to track down a critic with specific complaints to see if they had been addressed properly in the new design. BUT I have also seen a good number of high priced luxury items where the manufacturer would never have bothered to even change that design much less get it checked out by someone who didn't like the original one. Particularly when there were still a bunch of glowing reviews still up.
So, yes, it's a water bottle bag. It's an $11 water bottle bag at that. But, I am impressed. You did good guys. Thank you. You definitely definitely went above and beyond imho and, the new design is great.
ORIGINAL REVIEW (only left for reference- see UPDATE above)
So, I order this thing. It comes in and seems to look fine. Next morning, I fill up my water bottle, put it into the sling and put the sling over my shoulder. On the way to the car, the strap gives out.
Obviously not too thrilled about this because it's juuuust cheap enough to make it not worth my time and money to send back, I inspect the thing to see if it was just a case of a bad unit or if it really was just badly made. Come to find out that the straps, which are made of a material that's prone to unraveling are sewn with NO seam allowance. This means that the fabric will indeed do just what it had done for me- unravel past the seam causing the strap to fall off. Since the other side is doing the same thing the verdict was clear:
Badly made.
Shame too because if they had just sewn the ends of those straps a little further up the whole thing would have been fine but both sides were identical so there's just no way that this could have been a case of just one bad seam slipping past quality control. Nope. This is a $10 lesson in why that fraction of an inch is so important when it comes to sewing anything.
Which makes zero sense as to why this decision was approved all the way through production really because it's not even saving the company any money due to the fact that there was plenty of room to put those seams further up and therefore make it sturdy but, oh well. Live and learn.
Since it IS too cheap to return, at this point, I'd recommend for anyone who has already gotten one of these to do themselves a favor and toss in a quick stop seam just below the metal rings on either side before using it and just get something else next time.
(For that second seam, since you can't get this thing through a machine without a struggle due to the placement and probably have to do it by hand, I'd recommend something sturdy like button hole thread, embroidery floss or fishing line. Just go straight through everything from the outside of the strap to the interior of the casing. Yes, it will wear out eventually as the bottle rubs against it on the inside of the case itself but at least it'll hopefully keep the thing going long enough to get your money's worth and/or find a better replacement.)
1000ML version fits Zojirushi 20oz mug/bottle
by kane413 (5 out of 5 stars)

If you are buying this to carry the 20oz Zojirushi water bottle (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BTX5006/?tag=c-t-20), be sure to buy the 1000ML version. Even though the 750ML version says it'll fit a 24oz bottle, the height of the bag is only 8.26 inches. The 1000ML version is 9.45 inches tall. According to Zojirushi, the SM-SC60 bottle's height is 9 7/8 or 9.875 inches (Amazon censors links to other web sites).
You can see from the picture that, with the SM-SC60 bottle in the bag, the top of the lid is pretty much flush with the bag's opening. Tightening the drawstring the bottle can be held inside the bag, and will not slip out when running or somehow when the bag is upside down, as the bag's materiel can be stretched a little bit.

I misread the advertisement. I thought that one bottle would fit both the small and the larger sized bottles. This is not true.
There are two sizes of carrier. The smaller one (750) works very well to insulate the bottle. The strap is sturdy and best worn around the waist. I did not find the strap long enough to comfortably wear over my shoulder.
The larger bottle carries is the best choice for me! I have an insulated (double wall) steel bottle. The larger career fits perfectly! Also the strap is long enough on that model that I can carry the bottle holder over my shoulder easily. I really like this size. It will also hold the smaller bottles.
The design is very lovely. Both size bottle carriers hand nicely if you want to put them on a hook or tree branch. They also prevent your steel bottles from damage if you should drop one. Use the "Select" button to choose your size. I missed that the first time shopping!!
Great Neoprene Water bottle Carriers for Under $10
by Noah's Ark (5 out of 5 stars)

I Purchased both the 750ml & 1000ml versions. They are both well constructed and fully stitched around the bottom seam.
I got the 1000ml solid blue carrier hoping it would stretch to hold an Eternal Naturally Alkaline Spring Water, 1.5L bottle and it turned out to be able to stretch just enough to fit perfectly. The Eternal bottle has an unusual hourglass shape that is partially flattened along one vertical side so the bottle's bottom diameter does not average much more than 3.4 inches. The carrier's un-stretched diameter is almost 3.2 inches.
Incorrect size stated for 1000ml carrier:
The website states the 1000ml carrier has a "diameter" of 5.11 inches. The actual measured diameter is almost 3.2 inches. 5.11 inches is obviously a nonsense value for a "diameter" and is probably really the flattened width of the 1000ml carrier. A geometry calculation using 5.11 inches as the width of a flattened circle results in a calculated diameter of a little more than 3.25 inches, which is close to my measured diameter of almost 3.20 inches.
Incorrect photo for 750ml solid grey carrier:
The solid grey 750ml carrier has matching gray stitching rather than the blue stitching shown in the website photo. The grey stitching makes it look much better and discretely matches any clothes!
Perfect for Plastic Bottles & Zojirushi Tumbler

The 750ml size was perfect for me. I was looking for a bottle carrier that would fit regular plastic bottles. I've attached some photos so others who are concerned about sizing can see - the 16.9oz / 500ml Oi Ocha fits with plenty of room to spare. It also fits my 0.48L Zojirushi coffee tumbler perfectly. I don't see any issues with the stitching that some others have mentioned and there is no odor unless I press my nose to the fabric (smells very faintly of neoprene).
AUPET water bottle sleeve- local postal carrier approved
by TFD-Gunney (5 out of 5 stars)

To begin the product was as described by the seller. It is a very elegant product due to the coloring and design. I bought this for my wife for her locally bought purple water bottle at a local department store. Being that she is a postal carrier that her new water bottle was getting dinged up in her LLV (postal truck), so this sleeve certainly complimented and did its job to preserve her water bottle. Size parameters were close to what I expected as I did the foot work to measure my wife's water bottle and reference it against the size of this product (I have a picture attached below to demonstrate the fitting). What I found especially user-friendly is that if my measurements were off slightly that this sleeve has a pull-retention strap/ draw string (at the top) that has a small spring loaded clip to hold into place so that the sleeve itself would not necessarily slip off during usage. The sleeve is thick in nature, so I feel that this will also add to the heating/cooling affect for any kind of beverage. The stitching itself is rugged, but is of larger sewing, so after neglected usage that the stitching could become defective or come apart- so take care of your sleeve.
Product came with a carrying strap- which is a nice feature. Although if not needed or unwanted that there are (2) 1/2 rings stitched to the sleeve and can accommodate a number of other caring straps. The size overall was snug for the ml/ounce requirement needed. This was a nice overall result to enhance the non-slip characteristic of the sleeve (although other customer experiences will be different so do you measuring of you water bottle as I have read similar reviews that had a negative result to this). The only downfall to this sleeve is that the bottom of the sleeve is equally padded, so your water bottle may not sit perfectly on uneven surfaces or you may want to watch how you set it on even surfaces (it likes to rock a bit). No biggie, just be careful or no biggie because that's why one buy's this product to offer protection. Overall, my wife is pleased with this product and she feels that it will provide her with a durable and stylish serviceable product even for her rugged postal requirements on a daily basis.

So happy to recieve my 750ml bottle holder today! It's height is actually 8.75", which is perfect for my 12" tall 24oz HydroFlask (see photos). It also fit my 750ml Contigo water bottle perfectly. Will update if I run into any issues.
Fits my 24 oz. Takeya water bottle perfectly
by JABS (4 out of 5 stars)
March 26, 2018
I purchased the 750 ml version of the "AUPET Water Bottle Carrier,Insulated Neoprene Water bottle Holder Bag Case Pouch Cover..." in "pure blue." It fits my Takeya 24 oz. stainless steel water bottle perfectly, and that's what I bought it for. (My thanks to other reviewers who said that it worked for the same bottle for them.) Thankfully, mine did not arrive with any obnoxious odors, the strap arrived with it, and the stitching looks good. Note that the clips on the strap are plastic, but the hooks on the holder are metal (preferred). The strap is approx. 54 in. long when fully extended, measured from tip of one clip to the tip of the other. The strap material is acceptable. It's approx. 3/4-inch wide and not scratchy (as some cheaper ones are), so I expect that it will be comfortable to wear and not cause pilling on my clothing from rubbing. Pleased with my purchase.
High Quality, Slightly too Tall
by Amber (4 out of 5 stars)

Great quality, thick material, sturdy hooks and strap. A little too tall but otherwise perfect!
I wanted this for disposable plastic bottles that I often take with me when I leave the house. I've suffered through several years of not having my hands free when taking walks, out at the store, strolling through the farmer's market, or at beer and food festivals, before finally realizing that there's probably a product for this.
After reading reviews for several different options, I chose this one for the overwhelming good reviews and many mentions of great customer service, showing this company stands behind their product, and that stood out to me.
I wanted this solely to carry my water and leave my hands free, so the additional insulation and the help with catching water sweat was just an added bonus, therefore it's not a big deal to me that it doesn't keep my drink cold for much longer.
I bought the 1000mL (aka 1L) holder based on reviews that mentioned the strap for the 750mL was too short to wear cross body, and that the 1000mL was more versatile for use with both small and large bottles. I'm happy with that choice, although I do think the carrier is slightly too tall, since I have to pull the 1L water bottle out every time I want to take a drink (and most definitely have to do so for the smaller half liter bottles).
Considering that it is also a tight fit for the 1L bottles (not tight at all for half liter), and the 750mL holder is a little smaller around, I think the smaller holder would be too small in circumference to hold the 1L water bottles, even though height wise, the smaller carrier would probably be a perfect fit.
If they made the smaller version a little bigger around, I would prefer that size, but this larger one is definitely more versatile, and I guess it looks less tacky not having the bottle sticking out the top.
I got the plain blue and it's a very nice, bright royal blue color. It does smell slightly but it is not bothersome to me at all. It just smells "new."
Great Product, Great Quality, Great Shipping and Packaging, Great Price!

I absolutely love this! I have to carry a water bottle with me everywhere I go because of a health issue. I wasn't sure the best way to do that since I don't normally carry a backpack around with me and my purse has too many valuable things in it that would be ruined if there was a leak in the water bottle. I also need the water to be easy to grab and drink from frequently.
I found this product on Amazon and researched the differences between a number of similar products before choosing this one. I liked that it had a very long strap, that is easy to adjust, and a strap that can be easily removed if I do decide to put it in a backpack.
Love the neoprene that insulates and protects it from any sweating on a water bottle.
The top of the product has a strong cord in it that can be pulled to keep the top closed. Important for insulation as well as security. I don't have to worry about the bottle falling out.
The biggest concern for me was what size bottle would fit in this. Very simple, just go by the dimensions on the description and you won't go wrong!
The price was incredible for what I received!
