This is so cute. It is more of a novelty item than a mug that will actually be used to drink tea since the shape doesn't allow it to hold more than a couple swallows of tea. But that's okay, it's too adorable for that to even matter. And if you drink tea like the English do, you don't take large drinks anyway, but small sips, so it'll work just fine for that. I'm so happy I purchased this to give as a gift to a special young lady that we love. It's definitely a hit!!

Sent this as a birthday gift to my friend who loves whale-watching. The top part of the mug was broken when it arrived, but Amazon promptly replaced it and my friend seems to really like it!
