The bands are tight going around the mirrors on my Excursion. Definitely recommend the large for SUV's

It works pretty well. Was skeptical, and it's not perfect but it does prevent the wipers from getting frozen and definitely cut your time on trying to scrape frost off of a big SUV

I already own a FrostGuard windshield cover -- it was given to me by a friend who purchased it through QVC. I LOVE MINE and CANNOT go through a Buffalo winter without it!! That's why I ordered two more for my sons. The QVC model has a flap with an encased dowel on the driver's side of the cover which you place inside your car door before closing. The elastic loops which go around your side view mirrors are the same. I was disappointed, though, that these covers don't have the additional flap to secure it further inside the car door -- I didn't notice in the description they weren't there -- my oversight. As I can sew, I'm confident I'll be able to add this feature to the covers and will likely put one on each side. The winds have been severe and without the ability to secure the covers to the vehicle, they can be blown off --- happened to myself and my friend last winter --- and that was with the one side flap inserted inside the car door. Her side dowel which runs from the top of the window to the wipers was bent.

XL size fits 2015 Silverado 1500 (large pickup truck)...

The XL version of this cover fit my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT perfectly. I had another brand windshield cover that was almost twice the cost of this cover, but hardly used it because it was cumbersome to install. The FrostGuard cover is very easy to install and covers both the windshield and wipers. I easily slipped the straps around each side mirror and that was all I needed to do. It rolls up easy and slips back into the storage bag with no problem. After putting it on my windshield the first time, I declared to my wife that I love my FrostGuard windshield cover!

We ordered 2 of these, one for the car we have in Minnesota that has to stay outside of the garage and one for my daughter's boyfriend. We have mornings that you wake up to frost and/or snow on your windshield a few months out of the year and this makes it safer and quicker for my daughter to hop in her car and head off to school or work. It's quick and easy to install and easy to take off too and is so much nicer then scraping ice and snow off the windshield. It's best to make sure the windshield wipers are covered also so they aren't all iced up. We have it on a 2007 Honda CRV and it fits nice.

Doesn't fit the bag it comes with EDIT: Improves with time...

EDIT: After rolling and re-rolling it a few times, I've finally made it fit in the bag. Also, I've had the opportunity to use it a few times and I wish I'd purchased this years ago! Fits my car (2010 Ford Escape) perfectly and the different strap sizes help with that. I just lift it off from one side and the snow all goes away! Such a time saver in the morning.

I'll preface this by saying I haven't used it for its intended purpose yet, it just came in the mail today. So I took it out of the bag and unrolled it to make sure it reached me undamaged. After reading the instructions, which say to hook one side up to a mirror then unroll it to the other, I rolled it up to make that possible. However, when I tried to put it in the storage bag, it wouldn't go in! It was delivered rolled from both sides so that the mirror straps where in the middle which means that to use it you'd have to unroll the whole thing, strap one side on and sort of lift the whole thing over your hood while walking to the other side. Not how all the lovely video people do it, that's for sure. I'm disappointed that the designers didn't try harder to make the bag fit the product use case

Used it quite a few times on my husbands 2012 F 150. It saves so much time in the morning. He leaves at 3am for work and used to have to spend 15 min scrapping off windshield. Not now. Easy to put on. Easy to take off. One note tho the one strap that goes around the mirror broke after one use. I was able to sew a new one on with my sewing machine. I used a string elastic and devises it better. So far its working fine and the other strap is holding out. Thats the only reason i gave it four stars.

Wow, I really like these and now wish I had bought them years ago. I bought the two pack. They fit my 2006 Tacoma and 2005 Honda CR-V with full coverage. I live in a rural area and so I'm not concerned about these not having a security strap. They are easy to put on and take off and the one the initial adjustment of the straps are done you don't have to fuss with adjusting them again.

I have been using this product on two different vehicles, and just purchased another for my new GMC Sierra. Even though they are not made for a specific vehicle model, the straps that loop around the mirror make it a good fit without any flapping around in a heavy wind and storm, like we just had here 2 weeks ago. After cleaning off the roof of the vehicle, it's nice to pull this thing off and have a clear windshield. You'll find positioning it for the first time will have you adjusting it for the perfect fit, and then it's a piece of cake when used again. Never had it stick to the windshield if placed on wet, and then freeze. It still comes off easily. Highly recommend this product.

Love this windshield cover! We have a suburban and it covers the entire front windshield plus the vents & wipers. We had a snow storm that dumped more than 8 inches of icy snow & I just pulled off the frost guard and could drive - no scraping! The drawback is that although the underside is a waterproof vinyl, it drips in car while defrosting - have to make a terry cloth covering to absorb melted snow & ice. You can shake it prior to placing back in car, but will still be wet. Other than that - we love it - it is easy to install & even installed it in blizzard type winds! Do you make one for the back window?

I've had this product for years after purchasing it from QVC, and wanted to find it again for my partner - so happy I did! Exactly as described and arrived just in time for a heavy snowstorm! We live in the snow belt of western NY. My partner does home visits and needed this to save time when he's on the road visiting clients and it's snowing out. I'm glad I purchased the XL as he unexpectedly upgraded from a Chevy HHR to a Subaru Crosstrek just a month after purchase, and it fit perfectly on either windshield.
