Best Dog Ball Ever Madeby B. Edwards (5 out of 5 stars)

This is the best ball ever made for dogs, especially large dogs who can usually rip a ball apart in a matter of minutes, like mine. This is our second one, the first one we had for over 2 years and my pit bull put so many teeth marks in this ball and it never went flat. The pump end eventually fell out and it still stayed round and would bounce. We only had to buy another one because my crazy dog liked to throw it up in the air and it went over the back fence and another dog (or kid) decided to take it home. I also like that I buy one for my dog, and a kid somewhere gets one too. I will never own another brand of ball for my dogs.
Inadvertently the best dog soccer ball!

Mimi, my black lab, is an expert soccer ball destroyer. While this ball does show tooth marks, it still maintains its form and function.
3 Years on Rocky Roads and Barbed Wire Best Ball for Harsh Environments

Ok i have read some of the negative reviews and i am sure there is the occasional faulty ball or the person who thinks they are buying a "regular match soccer ball"... that is not what this ball is designed for. It is an "ultra-durable" and nearly indestructible soccer ball. I have been buying these for 4 years and i give them away especially in Nicaragua. I would venture to say these balls are not designed for normal use in the USA on a manicured field... the flight, the touch is a little different... but if you play on hard surfaces, rocky roads, near barbed wire fences, in environments such as Nicaragua and other countries this is the best ball you can buy. I took my first ones to Nicaragua and left them and one was played with nearly every day for three years by some kids in a local barrio and school and it lasted 3 years! It finally had so many punctures it was more like swiss cheese finally falling apart. The fact that it may occasionally be slightly out of round is first not much different than other soccer balls and secondly insignificant in its intended application. it actually rolls and does better on the roads in foreign countries and on the beach than a regular ball. One trip we went through 2 regular size 4 Adidas thermally bonded soccer balls in 3 days and these last for years. I have run a knife through them, ran them over with my bus and they keep on ticking. I still use one here in the states to kick around in harsh environments also... to keep my stash of coaching balls safe. Best purchase for its use and the company is great to work with also, as i have had dealing with customer service and quantity orders.

Holds up great for my dog. I got the size 5, which he can barely grab by biting the side. I'm sure size 4 would be easier for him to pick up, but size 5 let's me play with him more normally. Lots of bite marks after the first week, but still plays good as new. Finally! A soccer ball that will last.
Awesome for dogs!!

Wow! I waited 5 months to post a review but am so impressed with how durable this ball has lasted with my very active Australian Shepard! It's been squished all the way down in the jaws of the largest dogs in our dog park and it always bounces back to shape.
I was spending a mint on soccer balls until I found this. Even the toughest soccer balls would only last a month and sometimes, not even two weeks. I was skeptical, given the price but so happy I read the other doggy reviews. We have saved tons money with this ball.
great ball for puncture proof

great ball for puncture proof. My children play on a small grass field with blackberries on one side. They have popped a dozen other balls over the years until we got this one. I liked supporting the project even though the ball was expensive. The ball feels like a size 4 both in weight and diameter. There are two drawbacks. The first is that when you kick it, even though there is the "give" of a normal ball, this ball has a harder surface feel. Not so bad with shoes, but definitely noticeable barefoot. The second actual drawback is that if you leave it out in the sprinklers, some water can enter the ventilation port on the ball and it takes some maneuvering to get the water to drain out.
Buy it, you won't be sorry.

I'm not one to write reviews unless I feel very strongly about a product. My heeler is a destroyer of all toys. If it says indestructible he proves them wrong in minutes. He has loads of energy as heelers do, and the only thing we found he would actually fetch is a soccer ball. He would kill them the first 3 times he returned it and I was left kicking a flat ball until we were done that session of play. We've had this since August and it's still going strong. He has teeth holes in it as you can see in the pictures but it still holds it's shape and he doesn't get chunks of it off and eat them. He doesn't get to play with it when we're not out, it's his special toy when we go to play in the yard bc when he's left unattended he would probably eat it, but literally nothing survives that. So if you're on the fence, spend the money, it's worth it.
Soccer Balls Aren't Just for Humans Anymore

Like some others, I didn't buy this ball to play soccer, but to play with my dog. He goes crazy for soccer balls, and has popped/chewed/destroyed every single one he's gotten his paws on. This is the first ball, whether made for dogs, sports, artillery, or any other purpose, that actually lives up to its indestructible claim. All of the balls we've tried in the pet toy aisle are either 1) made of very tough rubber or foam and last for a while, but inevitably deflate or get torn apart, or 2) made of hard plastic that my dog can't bite into and play with.
He not only loves to chase and bat and bite this ball, but he can pick it up and run around with it like all of his other favorite toys and it re-inflates every time. And unlike the latter type of pet ball described above, I can dribble it around and kick it for him to chase without getting bruises and welts on my feet and shins. Of course, nothing short of hardened steel is going to stand up to a determined dog chewing on it relentlessly, so I only allow my dog to play with the ball when I'm there playing with him. After all, it's a ball, not a chew toy.
The only issue I've had is that it feels a lot heavier than a normal soccer ball when you kick it, and it doesn't have quite the same bounce as a regular ball, so it doesn't go nearly as far. However, that's because it's not really sealed. When compressed, air goes out, but it immediately re-inflates due to the tough material. That said, though, I haven't played soccer since I was a kid, but running around and kicking this ball with my dog has been so much fun that I'm thinking of finding an adult league (one for out of shape middle aged guys) and playing again.
As for other issues that some may have, here are a couple of opinions:
Price - I believe in the charity aspect of this project (discussed further below). I also know that, when you're making a product like this on a smaller scale (at least smaller than Spalding, Wilson, or Adidas), you don't have the economies of scale to allow you to use premium materials and at the same time offer a rock bottom price. As I said above, this ball is made of premium materials indeed, and it performs beyond expectations. If you view this purchase as buying one ball at $20.00 for yourself and another at the same price to give away (I know, that's not really the way it works economically), this ball is a better value than almost any other ball you can buy for your dog. Heck, that would be true even if you assign $30.00 of the purchase price to the ball you get, in my opinion.
The "Buy One, Give One" charity model - I normally view this kind of charity project (e.g., Tom's Shoes) as at best a marketing gimmick, and at worst actually harmful to the very communities they're trying to help. I'd rather buy quality products at a fair price and give my remaining disposable income to charities I care about and trust. Even when these Buy-Give companies are well meaning and responsibly run, they often paternalistically tell struggling communities what kind of help they need and apply a one-size-fits-all solution that almost never addresses the underlying issues that caused the extreme poverty and substandard living conditions. And it's my guess that in almost every case the economic value of their charity (both the purchase price I pay and the effort the company expends) would be more effective if it were just given in cash.
That said, I see this company as different. This isn't a project that's attempting to solve any of those underlying conditions that are keeping underprivileged communities in poverty. So they're not trying to tell the underprivileged what they need. But I think that improving a community's quality of life, even if it doesn't solve all of their problems, is a worthwhile pursuit as well. I believe that just giving kids living in poverty something to feel good about and offering them a way to constructively use their time (which might, if nothing else, keep them from the hazards of their world) is a good thing. And given the passionate love of soccer (futbol) in almost the entire world outside of America, I can't imagine that the offer of these balls is likely to go unappreciated.
As I said, these last two categories are OPINIONS ONLY. I'm not trying to tell anyone what they should believe or that their ideas about charity should be the same as mine.
But even when it comes down to just the facts, I've had a great experience with this ball and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a durable toy for their larger furry friends.
Cardigan Corgi Proof Ball

We got this for the dog who loves to play soccer- and also heard the ball (she's a working dog breed). This is the only softer ball that is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It's also a relief as being a little more giving than hard indestructible balls, I don't have to worry about her teeth or gums. I supervise her with the ball and she does get a little silly and plunge her teeth into the ball but it hasn't burst, ripped, or torn. It's a truly awesome ball for family picnics and for dogs who love to play with soccer balls. I will add this dog is a medium size dog who has punctured every other actual soccer ball, so this was a great addition to her toys. It does look punctured all over but is fine, holding up well after months of active play.
Best Ball for Lab EVER!!!!!

Unbelievable!!!! Best ball for our dog... EVER!!!! Our 2 year old Lab has POPPED any & every ball we have ever bought 😩 We have kids that love to play basketball, soccer, football & baseball....our dog couldn't be outside when they were playing because he'd inevitably steal & pop the balls. They'd accidentally forget and leave balls in the yard only to come back to another ball for the garbage can. Since getting our new ball the dog is OVERJOYED! He is totally uninterested in any other ball because his new one can be chased after again & again and isn't a one & done because it's popped! Our 4 kids & dog can now play outside together & there aren't any more tears, frustration or anger🤗 This ball is worth every penny!!! I was spending $20 month on cheap 5 below balls for the kids because I knew they were only going to get popped! Our dog hasn't popped a ball in over a month!!!!
***Update 5/21/19...Still the BEST BALL EVER! Our dog still absolutely adores his "orange ball" and plays with it every single day😍 We have not had to purchase another ball (for our kids or the dog) since buying this ball and everybody is all smiles!
